  1. I took this statement in a completely different manner. I don't see any part of the statement that says certain things wouldn't even be considered (other than ESB limitations). But rather, whichever figure wins, would be newly tooled. to me, an example how I interpreted this would be: -Currently have a few versions of x-wing pilots. If the fan's choice winner were to be any form of an x-wing pilot, they would create new tooling for the winning figure rather than reuse existing x-wing pilot tooling. Not meaning: -Don't pick an x-wing pilot, because there is already tooling for that, so it wouldn't be considered at all. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone else. But that's how it came across to me. Would it change anything about our voting options, if Hasbro's intent was more in line with what I was thinking? I'd really like to have other voting options available instead of being limited to what we've currently got here.
  2. I'd like a "TaunTaun" to be added to the list. But 1 specific tauntaun in particular. I'd like the tauntaun that had it's guts spilled out, in order to keep Luke warm while Han set up the tent. But seriously, I would prefer to submit some of our own choices, rather than just being pigeonholed into the options above. I really hope that everyone voting here is smart enough to realize that something like a figure of Luke in Dagobah training gear is going to get made one day, no matter what. Make your choice be for something a little more obscure. Something that we otherwise may not ever see get made, without winning a Fan's Choice Vote. My nominations to be added to the list are: the aforementioned Tauntaun (with guts spilled out) Hobbie Klivian (former Imperial cadet who defected to the Rebellion) Zev Senesca (the pilot who found Luke & Han on Hoth)
  3. Ordered the Psylocke. This wave has been hit & miss with me so far. For me it's the shoulders mainly. Here's to hoping that she turns out awesome.
  4. I can only wish that they find a way to make this happen. The end of the Mattel/4H Thundercats Classics may have one of the saddest days in my toy collecting history. We barely got started with one of my most wanted toy lines, and the plug got pulled so quickly.
  5. Looks cool. But I think I'm just gonna stick to the more "Classic" looks for characters. Can't wait for the SFII stuff to come along.
  6. Very awesome. But too pricey for my taste. Plus this will end up on the scrawny side of the 6" scale. I'm perfectly happy with NECA's spring loaded leg holster version of Robocop. Mafex needs to settle down with their prices a bit. For $50-65 I might have grabbed this one too. $75 is just too much.
  7. One of the best looking figures I've seen at this size. Oddly enough the rest of the best looking figures that I've seen at this size also seemed to come from Hiya Toys too. Amazing stuff.
  8. I would prefer to not have the "Bloody" versions. But if it ends up being all that I can get my hands on, I won't be disappointed. I've got the clean version of all the other ninjas so far, except for Reptile. And for some reason the Bloody version for him suites me just fine.
  9. For anyone who's interested in this figure, it will be going up for auction on ebay on Saturday evening July 3rd, ending July 10th. Search out TYTUS CUSTOM and I'm sure you'll find it. I just finished this guy today, and I really don't want to sell it. But I'm desperately needing some money. So I gotta let it go. Ok so the MOTUC Tytus was no where near articulated enough for my taste. So I decided to take a crack at it on my own. I mixed most of the joints from a Jacks WWE large scale wrestling figure, with as much original parts from Tytus as possible. Now he has far more articulation, for much better posing. My paint color matching skills are crap as you can see, but I really didn't want to repaint the entire figure just because of a few spots. Hope you enjoy the figure. Lots of pics- He now has ball jointed shoulders like the other MOTUC figures. As well as bicep swivels. Now he can raise his arms up to the side, and move them back and forward. Showing a little bit of everything here. Thigh swivel as well as hip articulation for sideways leg movement. Bicep swivel plus wrist bending.
  10. I don't keep up with all the GIJOE stuff. But if it's anything like what Hasbro does for Transformers figures at Bot-Con, I'll continue to not be interested. $300 for a set of figures is too crazy. I assume this will be a similar situation for a set GIJOE convention exclusives.
  11. I've never been into Smallville very much. But it's really nice to get to see some of these characters in decent looking costumes. I never expected them to go that comic accurate for Doctor Fate, Stargirl and Hawkman. I'm pleasantly surprised actually. I may watch the episode.
  12. Indie Spotlight wave 1 was in a lot of stores. I'd expect that wave 2 will be able to be found at many of those same stores too, plus other stores as well. Shocker Toys has always said that they're working on a deal to get Indie Spotlight into ToysRUs. I don't know how soon we'll see that happen. But that's another big store that will eventually be carrying Indie Spotlight. Here's the list of of stores that participated in Indie Spotlight wave 1 (listed from the Shocker Toys site) - Shocker Toys Direct (and shows) Amazon.com Big Bad Toy Store ToyNK Toywiz Astrozombies Amok Time Garham Crackers Comics Bedrock City Comics Newbury Comics New England Comics Dl Collectible Kingdom J.C. 13. Hey Pooda. It's been a long time man. How's everything going? Clearly I think most people's favorites this wave are DickTracy & Tick. But King Zombie is looking good. I think he's going to be a surprise standout figure for me in this wave.
  14. Indie Spotlight Wave 2 - The Tick Series -Dick Tracy -Dick Tracy variant -Ignacia -Jack Staff -King Zombie -King Zombie variant -The Tick -Arthur (mail away figure) Each figure comes with an accessory for The Tick to wear Here's the newest updated pictures for some of wave 2-
