  1. I have not gotten the scarlett as I did not know she was for sale on Ebay. I asked a while back if anyone would be interested in seeing pics of the figures and no one ever said anything.
  2. I think somehow the IM2 figures look kinda cheap in the packaging (at least to me sometimes), but it's completely deceptive. They're great when you have them in-hand. I'd love to get my hands on a few more of 'em. And speaking of the Spock figure from Playmates' Star Trek line having a great sculpt, I bought a couple at Big Lots back in the spring, and I was very impressed with the head-sculpt they sported. They really seemed painted better and more detailed than the first one I bought; it's almost as if they did two different head sculpts, because the initial figure I got earlier when they first came out seemed to have a paler skin tone. These newer ones look great. No, I loved this line. I didn't see it as a complete failure personally either. And h3llfish, my nephew's probably six or so. He absolutely loves anything superhero-related. First it was the Hulk, then Spider-man, then it was Batman, and now he's moved on to Iron Man. He really could have been my son, he loves action figures and video games so much. All of my nieces and nephews have a way of making me feel like a big kid even moreso than I already do sometimes. They're the true fountain of youth. (lol) If you still are looking for these figures we have tons of them at my Big Lots, might even still have the Bridge playset as well for $10 We also have the figures for $3 each at the Family Dollar stores out here in MA
  3. Is it in the Box, is the box sealed or opened? Is it loose, is it missing any pieces/figures?
  4. Ok, is it towards bottom left in the grassy patch of the first and second pic, then on the tree branch towards the mid right of the third pic, and the bottom right of the fourth pic? Dang, I gotta get more of these, if they're hard to spot, then my wife won't give me hell for having them, hehehe! LMFAO, I just woke up my wife to be while LOLing to that comment
  5. I thought it was pretty funny @loll@
  6. Thanks, I didn't want to make it be to hard or to easy to find to get the idea out there but even I was amazed while taking the pictures at how well he blended in for an action figure. The further I stepped back, the harder he was to see. I know that sounds obvious, but put a bright color figure in the same spot and you'll still see where you put him when you go back 20-30 feet. I hope people try it, I think it will be fun, especially with the fall months coming soon.
  7. I ordered these as well, i'm really not disappointed!
  8. Hide your Jungle-Viper, take a pic of him hidden and post it. He must be in the picture, no cheating!
  9. Iron Man 2 Kick Ass Batman Under The Red Hood (does that count?) Hot Tub Time Machine The Book of Eli From Paris with Love (just thought it was a lot of fun) She's Out of My League Notables: Shutter Island The Joneses The Crazies The Edge of Darkness (I'm not a fan or a hater) Green Zone Grown Ups MISSES: Robin Hood Alice in Wonderland Diary of the Dead The Bounty Hunter (Love the stars, hated the movie) wolfman A Nightmare on ELm Street (remake) Haven't but want to: Predators Piranah date night Splice Get him to the greek Tron 2 Killers Day & Knight A-Team Karate Kid (curious) Jonah Hex Toy Story 3 Inception Despicable Me The Last Airbender Prince of Persia Shrek 4 Ever After Machete Not In This lifetime Twilight Dear John The Lovely Bones Remember Me Marmaduke Greenbag (Ben Stillers movies are almost always garbage) The Last Song Furry Vengeance Letters To Juliet I mention most of this as I figure most people do not remember all of what has come out though this year.
  10. Pictures of the back of the cards:
  11. That is just sick! If I ever saw this woman on the street, she would be the first woman I have ever hit in my life. I hope she gets hit by a truck!
  12. Not to come off as a total nerd here, but I thought it was odd that she was naked under the cloth. It made me wonder just how movie accurate they were trying to make this set. Now when you have Oola fall into the Rancor pit you can have her boob pop out just as it did in the movie. Hasbro possibly did it to save money on paint I was at Walmart today and there was no Jabba That makes me wonder if Walmart is worried about putting the Jabba set out because of Oola is "unappropriate".Walmart in the past for a while banned certain mens magazines from thier news stand.Just a thought. If that is they got to get over that crap that character is in the movie plus Leia dresses like that too Ever since Sam Walton died they have not been as much like that. I can still remember them not carrying World of Springfield figures because Mr. Smithers character was "curious in nature" Since he has died they seem to be a little more open about things. They also use to not sell video games like Grand Theft Auto

  14. His legs appear to be normal so I'm guessing it's his torso that you spin one way and then release to make his legs kick around.
  15. I noticed this when I saw pictures at Comic-Con and was really pissed to see that the same thing that killed the original line along with all the neon colors was coming back for the new Snake Eyes. I understand these are toys made for kids, but I'm sorry these are always awful even the young kids I let play with my extra ninja force and street fighter figures always say that the action features are stupid.
  16. I thought Zartan was in this wave? I did buy one from Hong Kong with the Actors head and the ROC reject if anyone wants to see him I can put up pics. I love the Dusty and I love the frost on Destro's head. The Recondo looks like he was going to be Gnawgahdye and the Jungle-Viper is a bit of a let down as of right now. I still am a huge fan of this line as of right now.
  17. I am so happy with this line! I am so pissed that I already know it is on the way out. This is by far the best line they have put out since the last good vintage Joe run of '89. The weapons and accessories are great the arms are better and the sculpts are great. Not a fan of the knee joints or the fact that some of the figures struggle to hold all the different gear but I'd still rather have it than not.
  18. Didn't Hasbro say not even that long ago that they had destroyed most if not all of the original Molds because they were to expensive to keep in storage? I could have sworn I read that. I would love to see the line just keep going even with only a few classic figures I would be happy with something rather than another relaunch. I just picked up some of the POC figures and I really like them! It's what a lot of people have asked for as well with new characters or existing characters in new gear.
  19. New Seekers would be great!! I have been waiting to long for new ones!
  20. My thoughts will be with you everyday as you and your family go through this and I sincerely hope all the best for your wife and your entire family. I'm sorry this is the first I have read of this and I am happy to have read that things have looked up for being what it is. I have past experiences myself and I won't get into it but If you have a Pay Pal account and could use a little help with some money I for one am not wealthy but would like to at least help even if it means just helping to buy a meal for your family and it will give others a chance to donate as well if you would like. You could post it here or just send me the info privately. Would just like to offer the help if you could use it. Good Luck!
  21. #7 is Generations and to me the first original movie sucked and so did Generations the first of the Next Gen.
  22. Watched it late last night and loved it! DC has been a hit to me with all but the Superman Doomsday release. Still have to watch Wonder Woman and finish Crisis on Two Earths.
  23. yeah, I worry about the guy I used to buy comics from, but he seems to be doing ok from yugi-oh cards. When I started buying comics, they were a buck. Then some of them went to 1.25. This was the 90's, when books like Namor, Ghost Rider (dan Ketch version), Dark Hawk, New Warriors, and X-Force were starting up. Same here Clam, I had to give up just like you did for the same reasons. I was buying books I didn't even like to keep up with story lines and the prices just kept jumping higher and higher. Now as far as the Wal-Mart thing I believe what you are all saying but here in MA at the North Adams and Pittsfield stores they are still $6.88 and Star Wars figs are $4.50, every time a line gets good or I get into it, the line gets killed by movie toys, price or change in manufacturer. I am about to drop toys from my final piece of collecting. I've always been a toy collector and I have seen it at it's best in the 80's it's worst in the 90's and it's resurgence in the 00's and I'm afraid it will die in the 10's just as it could have been it's best.
