  1. Haven't seen a single movie with Scott Eastwood, but dang, he does have the Wolverine look. And the last name at least inspires trust.

He was one of the soldiers in Suicide Squad, he's ok I guess, haven't really seen anything with him that really impresses me. Personally, I'm hoping Fox, Marvel, Disney or whoever moves forward without Wolverine after 7 movies I'm played out on the character and I want to see the focus on other X-men characters.

  2. Infinity War merch is supposed to be hitting this Sat but I won't be around to go hunting. If anyone comes across a TRU Vision/Scarlet witch that they could sell me cost + shipping, it would be greatly appreciated!

I have to work, I'm hoping I can find a Sonbgird on my lunch break.

  3. Maybe we can make a few more highly anticipated Marvel Legends figures Toys R Us exclusives. You know, the company that is closing hundreds of stores across America.

As for the Scarlet Witch/Vision 2 pack, you have one of the most if not the most requested MCU figure paired up with a figure that was already released. Meaning people have to buy said figure again in order to get the one they want. On top of it all it's going to a store that's closing, limiting their options. i can see how that might ruffle some feathers.

It's commendable that Hasbro is bending over backwards to find retailers that want to sell their product. That said, it's frustrating that TRU who is not only closing stores left and right but also most probably owes them money get exclusive merchandise.

I just found out yesterday that my closest TRU which was about an hour away is closing. I guess from now on I'll have to rely on their crappy website or the other TRU that's closest from me which is an hour and a half away. Why Hasbro keeps giving them exclusives like the BAF Stan Lee Killmonger/Everett Ross 2-pack, The Sentinel/DOFP Logan boxset and the sweet looking Ant-Man/Stinger 2-pack is beyond me.

  7. That Marvel Knights wave goes up for preorder which mades me excited for a moment and then I remember that between my car needing an oil change and other expenses I'm gonna have to pass on it for now. Shame the first wave in a while where I would have bought a case, easily.

I'm really jealous of you being able to get the Thor set I really want that Bor and Malekith, but the way things are going looks like I won't be able to get that either.

  8. Now that they are on Netflix, I'm getting caught up with the CW/Arrowverse shows. I finished with the Flash this weekend boy did that series went downhill fast, this season was a chore to watch and now on to Arrow.

Legends was pretty bad in season 1, I was gonna drop it but it improved on season 2. It still has ways to go but it showed improvement. Commander Steel was a great addition to the group and one of the few who's not annoying.

WB signed an exclusive deal with Netflix where they get their shows on Netflix one week after the season ends. Which is why they are no longer on Hulu.

    1. Belmont13

      Belmont13

lol The new Marvel vs Capcom trailer was released and X-men fans are upset at the apparent lack of inclusion of X-men, some going as far as saying they won't buy the game without the X-men.

  11. Dang! Clone Wars leaving Netflix. Gotta get watching.

Agree with Mako, I really didn't care much for this series. There were a few stand out things like Ashoka, Nightsisters and Quinlan Vos the rest? Meh. When they introduced Darth Maul's brother and resurrected Darth Maul for the 10th time*rolls eyes* that was it for me. Although it lead to that awesome fight where Palpy whoops their butts. Save for a few missteps in the second season Tartakovsky's was better for me.

  12. One good thing about having over a half dozen superhero TV shows, more work for Kevin Smith!

I saw an article where he wants to direct a Daredevil episode. He said that it would be good to reunite with Joe Quesada since they worked on a Daredevil comic together. Problem is their DD run wasn't that great and I found his Flash episode to be lacking, although I have yet to see the Supergirl episode he directed maybe it was better.

  13. Hulu you have so disappointed me....

    1. Belmont13

      Belmont13

I think it already happened, I was reading an article saying that ratings for Legends of Tomorrow had dropped compared to last season. I think the Hulu thing may have to do with it.

I believe it was WB's decision to sign an exclusivity deal with Netflix to have new seasons of their shows faster on the streaming service which meant cutting ties with Hulu.Still disappointing, though.

  15. Any chance the Star Wars movie deluge is going to make things confusing for non-geeks? I wonder how many are going to see Rogue One thinking, "I'm excited to see what happens with Rey, BB-8, and that Darth Kylo guy!"

    1. Belmont13

      Belmont13

lol Joe Rhyno, Can you imagine if before the movie starts we get a disney exec. on the screen explaining to us how the movie is not a sequel to Force Awakens and where it fits within the SW universe. Kind of like the old man in the tour of Jurassic Park.

      Belmont13

There's a pretty good chance that's gonna happen. There are people that care about SW enough to see it on the theaters but not enough know what is gonna be about or follow the news surrounding it. I remember someone posting here that when they saw Green Lantern in the theater there was a person asking if the movie also had an after credit scene tying it to the Avengers.

  18. GI Joe 3 delayed because of the Rock's schedule? Who knew GI Joe 3 was even on the table! So I guess if you want more GI Joe toys, it's: "Help us, Dwayne Johnson, you're our only hope".

    1. Belmont13

      Belmont13

Get rid of him, like Mako said, he didn't made any significant contribution to the movie and I can't help but feel that his presence there only added to the downplaying of the other characters.

  19. I will never display a Yoda action figure holding a lightsaber.

    1. Belmont13

      Belmont13

When I last displayed my Star Wars figures I had a shelf for Jedis, one for Sith/Dark Jedis and one for Bounty Hunters/Scoundrels/mandalorians. My Jedi shelf had Jedis from all eras(Prequels,Expanded Universe, etc.) I displayed Yoda with his ligthsber. I mean he wasn't gonna be the only one without one. Then again I replaced my Tatooine Sandstorm/Deleted Scene Luke Skywalker figure with an Expanded Universe Luke from the Jedi Evolutions pack so I guess you could say I'm different.

  20. Joe Mangianelo has been cast as Deathstroke, another actor from the first Spider-Man movie that WB/DC recruits, curious.

      Belmont13

He played Flash Thompson. As for Manu Bennet I haven't seen Arrow save one or two episodes, but I read an interview where Bennett express his disappointment with how the character was written. He went on to say how he thought he should have been more baddass or something, sounded like he was passionate about the role.

  21. Where would internet click bait be without wild fan theories about current popular franchises? The latest: Snoak is Boba Fett. Well, I happen to think Snoak is the Gamorrean Guard that got eaten by Rankor. BOOM! I just crated internet filler.

    1. Belmont13

      Belmont13

Yeah, the internet is full of people that come up with these outlandish theories about things like movies, tv shows, etc. They do it in a pathetic attempt to show how smart they are and in the off chance that they were right they can say I called it, at that point nobody cares. The only thing impressive about it is how much free time they have.

Boba Fett, seriously? and here I thought the Snoak being Darth Plagueis was ludicrous. Then again at this point everytime I hear something about Star Wars that includes Boba Fett I just shut down and ignore it.

Never cared for Deadpool, so I won't be watching that movie anytime soon. I love Guardians and I own the Blu-Ray but BVS just didn't do it for me.
