  1. Based on the trailers this is not looking bad, I'm starting to get really excited for this series. I'm surprised they went with a 3 episode premiere, I wonder what's that about?
  2. I'm still disappointed it's not an adaptation of the comics but this is starting to look a bit interesting.
  3. I like the Ahsoka character but didn't much cared for Rebels so I'm 50/50 on this series.
  4. The trailer looks good, I'm happy that we are getting more Bo Katan.
  5. Not much to get excited for here unless you are looking to army build some some of these. The most interesting looking one is the Officer and that's because of the cape/poncho thing. They put Dark Times next to the Imperial Officer in the packaging, makes me wish we got figures from that comic.
  6. Mayfield looks better than I expected, when I first saw that episode I didn't think much of the outfit but it makes for a cool looking figure. The HK looks cool but I prefer the video game versions. The Luke isn't accurate to his appearance in the Mandalorian, so far I think Hot Toys are the only to get the outfit right. I'm still going to get it because I love this look but I'm a bit disappointed. I guess they are saving the correct look for a Book of Boba Fett release.
  7. I'm not one to complain about these things but it would be nice if my preorders for the Black Series figures would get fulfilled before Entertainment Earth sells them at a con.
  8. They don't look bad but it's not something that I'm looking to get. I'm happy that I can skip these and save my money.
  9. That's impressive, but yeah I got to wonder how many people will actually buy it.
  10. I like how it looks but not enough to buy it, especially when it looks like they used the old Boba Fett mold. I haven't read the storyline but it seems kind of stupid just paint the armor black as way to "disguise" yourself, it would have been cool if her wore a variation of the armor.
  11. I figured this was going to happen, I didn't see much enthusiasm from people when it was first announced and the only atenttion it seemed to be getting wasn't the good kind. I think there were a number of factors that lead to its failure and yes I believe the controversy surrounding the character was probably one of them but I'm not going to get into that as quite frankly I'm tired of hearing about it. I feel that this didn't need to be a Haslab project, it could have been a Pulse/Disney shop exclusive or even a Galaxy's Edge exclusive. Of course in order for that to happen the blades had to be removable so they could fit better in the packaging. I don't collect FX lightsabers so I'm not up to date or very knowledgeable in them but I have heard from people that it's better to go the independent route as some companies make good quality products for a reasonable price and they can be more durable. As for a Black Series Haslab project, I would think an X-wing would be a good choice. Include a new X-wing pilot Luke, maybe a new R2-D2, have the tiers unlocks be pieces to recreate the Dagobah landing or a Rebel Alliance hangar, find a way to have the stripes on the wing interchangeable to make the X-wing be Red 5 or 3 or something which would encourage people to fund more than one.
  12. Not bad but not great either, they really need to stop that face gloss it messes up the look of the figure.
  13. I saw a video review for this figure and the reviewer mentioned the joints being very gummy and it seemed that the figure couldn't support its own weight. Hopefully, it was just his and its not a widespread problem.
  14. It's a shame they went with the old Darth Vader figure instead of the newer Empire Strikes Back version which had some improvements.
  15. I figured this one was coming and I guess the last remaining outfit will be revealed next week. This the third Obi Wan figure and the likeness still isn't there.
  16. It kind reminds me of the yellow robot from Lightyear that collectors are buying to use as a Mandroid. It doesn't look bad but I think it could use some more weathering. I'm guessing next Wednesday's reveal will be the outfit Obi Wan wore in episode 5 and 6 and/or the Sideshow Collectibles Star Wars Mythos outfit. I'm wondering which store is going to get the figure based on that character cameo.
  17. I like the Tala character in the show but the figure does not really appeal to me. Same thing with 1 JAC, I understand why they went with it but at the end of the day it's still $27.99 for a 4-Lom with added accessories. I like the new helmet on the Purge Troopers but I already have 2 of each of the Gaming Greats ones from Gamestop so I'm having a hard time justifying purchasing this one.
  18. Interesting, I might get it when it comes out, I loved this game back in the day. All I need now is for Hasbro to release Darth Sion and Darth Traya in the Black Series line, my Darth Nihilus needs his Sith Triumvirate partners.
  19. I see this figure and the first thing that comes to mind is: I'm your Papi!
  20. Do Aayla Secura and Darth Maul also go up for preorder tomorrow or just the Obi Wan series figures?
  21. I'm very excited to finally add Aayla Secura to the collection despite the headsculpt looking iffy. I'm also getting all of the Inquisitors. I'm really looking forward to the Darth Malak and Bastilla Shan, hopefully Darth Traya and Darth Sion are not far behind, maybe Shatele Shan and Darth Malgus. All in all better reveals for me the last couple of live streams. Hmm, a Third sister lightsaber Haslab project, that's a topic for another day.
