  1. Yeah I would have to agree that the SMC12 McFarlane Spider-Man is the superior Spider-Man. In Hasbro's new "Spider-Man Classics" (i think thats what it's called) line the "First Appearance Spider-Man" (I think) is just a repainted version of the SMC 12 one. I have it. It's good.
  2. Just to clarify I really don't care all that much because it's Heimdall. But I did not know that little fact about scholars believeing the whole africans interacted with vikings thing, in which case, that would be a pretty cool movie. But I digress, I just like to see comic-to-film accuracy when dealing with a comic book film. I think many of you would care if they had a black Reed Richards or a white Luke Cage or Cloak or something. It's not the popularity of the character, the fact that most people have no clue who Heimdall is, I just think it's the principle of the matter.
  3. He actually played a white guy that got skin pigmentation surgery. He was supposed to be a play on Heath Ledger like he seriously gets into his roles and such. And I think we all understand norse gods are myths, but these myths are derived from ancient scandinavian legend, and, unless my history is COMPLETELY wrong, there weren't any africans up in Norway fighting alongside the vikings. I honestly do not know who Idris Elba is, but he appears to be a good actor, which is fine, but accuracy is what we aim for in movies based from comic books.
  4. OH. I totally see what you're talking about. I still haven't gotten to pick these up yet but hopefully I'm able to get out to a Toys R Us sometime soon.
  5. Does it? I have the SOTA T Hawk right in front of me, I don't get it. But I hope to eventually get out to Toys R Us to pick up Guile and Akuma. I'm not much a fan of the Chun Li. I would buy it if I had more money.
  6. Well actually, I think there would be a new body for Gouken. Those figures are all pretty in scale to the game I think. I only got Ryu and Ken because I don't really like C. Viper, but they both feel pretty srurdy to me. The only problems I had were both with Ryu, and that's that his waist only moves one direction and on his left arm, his double elbow, only the front joint works, the rear joint is frozen. Wave two looks good. People complain they all look stupid in the face sculpt and that SOTA was better. While I have nothing against the SOTA line, these figures are based on the characters appearances in SFIV, and I think they are very good representations of what they are based on. But I STILL wish NECA would hurry up and show us at least the series 3 prototypes, or even just who is going to be in series 3! I'm crossing my fingers for Zangief, Blanka, or Dan.
  7. Where was series 3? Maybe It'll be out today or tomorrow. But I think it should be Blanka, Zangief, and Dan.
  8. Well. you are all wrong. This guy is obviously connedted to the Hulk, has met Rick Jones, and doesn't like him. It's obviously a young, human, painted form of Maestro.
  9. Best: Deadpool (could have had better articulation and removable grenades and less easy to lose sais/katanas) and Abomination Worst: Not Moon Knight (but he couldve been better), probably probably Emma Frost and X3 Jean Grey
  10. Well, first off, as figures go, i think the two best are Colossus and Deadpool others that couldnt be replaced are (for what kind of figure it is, ex. Brown Wolverine and Tiger Stripe are different and neither need be redone.) Series 4 War Journal Punisher Series 13 Abomination Sentinel BAF Hobgoblin (Spiderman classics) Series 13 Green Goblin S6 Electro Spider-Man Classics Kraven Spider-Man Classics Sandman McFarlane Spidey Hulk Classics Smart Hulk Hulk Classics Joe Fixit HC Absorbing Man FF Classics Dragon Man FF C Super Skrull ML 4 Gambit ML 8 Iceman ML 9 Nightcrawler and more.... Figures that almost made the list Man-Thing (muscles could have been bigger, lose the branches) S6 Venom (just a little corny, kind of cartoony)
  11. Well, if Abomination is to scale with the other one (which i doubt), it can be salvaged...by me, and anyone else with an unfixable Abomination. My Abom. is broken beyond repair (run over by lawnmower). If i were to cut the ears off, glue them on to the movie one, and paint it green, it would be good
  12. I hope, if they make X-Men 4, they don't do as crappy a job as they did with X3 Here is my list of problems with that movie His name is Quill, not Kid Omega Arclight is a Marauder, not a Morlock Psylocke is British, and her powers are telepathy and telekinesis(witch she had to shut down because of the Shadow King) Juggernaut is Professor X's brother, and not a mutant Colossus is Russian The Rogure we know would never give up her powers Cyclops never died What I did like about the movie I liked how they did Glob Herman and Phat
  13. Im gonna say, complete Foom BAF for 30 bucks
  14. In an earlier post i wrote that if they are going to charge 15 bucks per figure, then we had better have a big figure. I have now decided that if there are going to be 16 and they are going to be fifteen bucks each, Foom had better be, oh, around 4 feet tall. If not, i'm buying them all online at like bigbadtoystore, or something. baigbadtoystore has really good prices...sometimes.
  15. hair might be a little weird though
