  1. The power of the force 2 figures from the 90's don't sell for much at all. They were so popular and sold in such high volumes the first time around that they are very common. Plus the fact that they have redone almost every character in the Saga, 30th or Legacy collections that figures with better sculpts and twice the articulation are killing the POFT2s value as almost no one still actively collects them. However the vintage figures from 77-85 are very valuable.
  2. I have about 2000 figures and I've never had this happen or even heard of gold plastic syndrome.
  3. What are all the differences between the Masterpiece Optimus Primes? thanks in advance.
  4. You would get the best value for them if you actually do put time and effort into listing them individually. BUT NOT ON EBAY! List them on TFieds & on the forums. Then after selling slows down list them all together. If you don't want to put the time & effort into something like that then don't bother selling them. You might as well then just give them away. Yeah because if you list them on ebay you'll make lots of money, how awfull! Ebay rules the online shopping world. Deal with it.
  5. What's the question again? Can you please repeat it? Isn't that Madonna from Dick Tracy? LOL.
  6. It didn't happen. I just made it up. I don't own a single action figure. I just like to pretend so I can be part of the cool crowd.

I found UFC wave 0 at Wal Mart last week. These figures are great even though they reuse alot of the same 2 bodies just like Jakks did with WWE. I can't wait to find Wave 1 so I can pick up Chuck Liddell, Anderson Silva and Forest Griffin.
  8. Dude not even the question ?.. For me its The Question John Stewart Green Lantern Cyborg Superman Sinestro Corps Deadman comes in last because of his head ?kiliwog? (I'm unsure of...) Yes I am not a fan of the Question and still pissed he won the fan poll.... so boring to me. I disagree, i think its the fact that most non hard hitters in DC just are not as popular as Marvels b listers and even some c listers. Marvel is just more exposed over the last 10-15 years. Draven Draven is 100% right.
  9. Hey Matt Mason is back! I guess trying to scam fanboys on forums is easier work than collecting cans.
  10. This is a very weak wave so I won't be buying a single one unless it's off Mattycollector.com and they charge $15 or less per figure.
  11. I have almost all of the Kenner figures including ecto 1 and the Firehouse. They are great figures.
  12. DCUC's days are numbered. The figures still look good but most people can't even name these guys. The line should end up as a mattycollector and diamond exclusive
  13. They still stand up???? Yes, they STILL stand up. First, the animation--25 years old!--is better than 90% of anything you'll see on a Saturday morning cartoon. Second, take even the worst of the original cartoon episodes and put it up against one of those Japanese toons that's nothing more than a commercial for a card game. I had the fortitude to sit through a few minutes of one of those shows one day and the voice actors were literally reading game instructions in place of dialogue. A plot and story were not even attempted! Third, (and they may have missed the boat here) but the caracters in the 80s toon look identical to the figures re-released in the 25th ann. line. Kids would have been able to see Gung Ho, Roadblock, and Shipwreck in all kinds of cool action on TV and then see the exact same characters in the toy aile and actually know, and care about who they are. They should have been rerunning the 80s GI Joe cartoon three years ago! All the mini series still hold up(except pyramid) but the lack of effort put into most of the individual episodes doesn't. Arise Serpentor Arise is still nearly perfect.
  14. He's going to have to pay the amputee a fair buck to go for it. Just like when I was 16 me and my friends rented a "little person" for midget bowling. It wasn't cheap.
  15. Done I got Tella and Ray Stanz and... Webstor! I had him in my checkout from last month and they let me buy him today to combine shipping with the other two figures. nice.
  16. They are literally pacifiers. They are cheap crap meant to be handed to a wailing child to shut them up. There's a whole segment of people out there, children and adults that are willing ( enthusiastically even) to buy crap. They are quick & cheap to produce, they are easy for the factories to turn out and easy to slip into a package, and retailers seek that kind of thing because it puts stock on their shelves that leads to an impulse buy with consumers. And its crap. These things are around $9 at TRU here in Canada. That is not "cheap". These should cost $3 max. And I have no problem with Joe and Star wars figures costing $9.98 each here in Canada. So if I say they are not cheap they really aren't.
  17. I got Tri Klops the day after I posted this thread. I didn't order Webstor, not a fan of his.
  18. Hmmm, I don't know about that. The face scuplt on yours is worse than the battle pack version.

Whats the newest wave of Star Wars Legacy figures you guys have found? I found luke and han in Stormtroper disguise once months ago. It seems that most stores carry the Legacy collection but they are very hard to find because the clearly sell so fast. Peg warmers are the only thing ever left from every wave.
  20. Vintage luke as in kenner or POTF2? Either way they have very little articulation and the battle pack Luke is the only bespin luke in 30th style with full articulation. Am I wrong?
  21. Is the newer one in the legacy collection just the same 5 figures as repaints and different packaging? The older one from 2007 has a clean Luke and the new one is the exact same figure with a dirty paint wash? Which battle pack is better?
  22. Synch, what store did you find them at?
  23. First came Rowdy Roddy Piper. Then came Rowdy Roddy Pansy...
