This wave sucks as it is. Not one famous character. It would rot on the pegs at $10 each. I doubt TRU will order any more waves if they have to charge this much now. I saw the huge SW Clone Wars turbo tanks on clearance at Wal Mart for $75. Down from $120. You wouldnt consider John Stewart famous? To any kid who watched JLU, hes THE Green Lantern. The guy from the Daily Show? I actually think Steven Colbert is funnier, but maybe not more famous.

  3. Hmmm I heard $26 each at TRU in Canada and now someone has $10? Clearly the $10 price rang up in error and is either isolated or a short lived thing. I'm not too worried either way as I already has them on the way via UPS and they'll be here in a week.
  4. So how many waves are there going to be next year? wave 12(Desaad), 13(Cyclotron), 14(Tyr), 15(Samurai), 16(Martian Manhunter) for sure each with a Super Powers headliner and I had read that Mattel might try to add one other wave since they are determined to get out as many figures as they can before their license ends in case for whatever reason it isn't renewed. Plus there are the Lex/Supergirl 2 pack, the walmart Batman/Robin two pack, the walmart Aquaman/Black Manta 2 pack, the re-release 5 pack of wave 5 on Matty.com, the rumored Plastic Man SDCC 2010 exclusive. They also mentioned another 5 pack figure set might come out next year since the Gotham 5 walmart one according to them sold really well. Thats 3 BAF we don't know about yet. Swamp Thing HAS to be one of them. Besides Manhunter he's the only DC character remaining that I have to have.
  5. We still don't know how tall Darkseid is going to be. I say right around the same as Grundy.
  6. They can't charge more than $120. BBTS has them for $125.
  7. They arrived. Now I wonder if Scareglow will show up before Christmas?
  8. It is a common misconception that the internet started in the 90s'. the internet was around during the 70's. Before the 1990s, the internet was turned on by plugging your phone speaker into the modem: REgardless, I really can't comprehend how movie files can be access on a pc during the 80s PC were very slow and had around 8 diff colors during this time period. I know computer games can be downloaded back then since my older cousin used to do it often The only thing I can come up with havin a vhs device connected to the pc to download the flick onto tape I helped Al Gore invent the internet.
  9. If you got yours today I should get mine tom...
  10. I just phoned matty and they said my order was placed on Oct 15th and mailed on the 22nd just as my e-mail notices said. The operator than gave me a reference number and said I'll get a responce within 24hrs about if my figures were lost and then theywill send me new ones.
  11. Nadda for me today. One more day to go...
  12. Nothing in today's mail. And I'm a non-sub and live in Van.
  13. If Opticon got his that is a good sign as we are all in BC. I'm also going to call VISA on Friday to cancel the charge if it's not here by then. 3 more postal days to go...
  14. I used to call mattys customer service all the time 10 months ago about the MOTUCs taking so long to get here. But it takes this long EVERY month so there is no point in calling the customer service because they give you same answer every time. The figures will show up sooner or later.
  15. Hm, and here I have always thought it was the other way around, heheehe I have always thought nerds are so deep and devoted to whatever they are interesting in that they have no time for socializing or for other people. It's like they are in a world of their own. Me, I'm a transformers nerd in a way, ehehhe, at least that's what my family think of me whenever they look at my TF collection, ehhehe. My wife think I'm insane with these TFs figures and video, eheheh. EXACTLY. A nerd is someone with a serious passion for nerdy pursuits. Such as collecting action figures and comics and even video games.
  16. No my Webstor hasn't gotten here yet because he's coming in the same package as Teela that I paid for Oct 15th. I had webstor in my checkout from sept but I didn't pay for him until the Teela and Ray Stanz checkout in Oct. I got the shipping notice for all three figures a few days later.
  17. I'm still waiting for my Teela, Webstor and Ray Stanz package. It's WELL overdue. Usually Matty takes amonth to get here but we're past that.
  18. But he is wearing fake hair...lol.
  19. I still haven't gotten the teela I ordered the second she went on sale.
  20. I remember when Lex Luger showed up out of no where at the Mall of America. Good times.
  21. Martian Manhunter and Swamp Thing are the only two non Bats characters left to be made that don't suck. So I say an all Bats DCUC line would be great. We could get posion ivy and proper Killer Crocs and Banes.
  22. I doubt they want it. I could only see them making a Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow figures. The only ones deserving.
  23. It looks like they made a mistake and then fixed it. Big deal
