My girlfriend made me a G.I. Joe quilt for Christmas
JohnnyRebelV2 replied to MintCondition's topic in G.I. Joe
Your dating a 10 year old? I weighed that much in grade 4. -
OK...Admit it: Who got toys for Christmas yesterday?
JohnnyRebelV2 replied to rash's topic in DC Comics
I got the Hot Toys DX-01 Joker set from my dad. -
Hmmm I heard $26 each at TRU in Canada and now someone has $10? Clearly the $10 price rang up in error and is either isolated or a short lived thing. I'm not too worried either way as I already has them on the way via UPS and they'll be here in a week.

So how many waves are there going to be next year? wave 12(Desaad), 13(Cyclotron), 14(Tyr), 15(Samurai), 16(Martian Manhunter) for sure each with a Super Powers headliner and I had read that Mattel might try to add one other wave since they are determined to get out as many figures as they can before their license ends in case for whatever reason it isn't renewed. Plus there are the Lex/Supergirl 2 pack, the walmart Batman/Robin two pack, the walmart Aquaman/Black Manta 2 pack, the re-release 5 pack of wave 5 on Matty.com, the rumored Plastic Man SDCC 2010 exclusive. They also mentioned another 5 pack figure set might come out next year since the Gotham 5 walmart one according to them sold really well. Thats 3 BAF we don't know about yet. Swamp Thing HAS to be one of them. Besides Manhunter he's the only DC character remaining that I have to have.

We still don't know how tall Darkseid is going to be. I say right around the same as Grundy.

They can't charge more than $120. BBTS has them for $125.

It is a common misconception that the internet started in the 90s'. the internet was around during the 70's. Before the 1990s, the internet was turned on by plugging your phone speaker into the modem: REgardless, I really can't comprehend how movie files can be access on a pc during the 80s PC were very slow and had around 8 diff colors during this time period. I know computer games can be downloaded back then since my older cousin used to do it often The only thing I can come up with havin a vhs device connected to the pc to download the flick onto tape I helped Al Gore invent the internet.

happy bird day to all my fellow transformer "NERDS"
JohnnyRebelV2 replied to mike33's topic in Transformers
Hm, and here I have always thought it was the other way around, heheehe I have always thought nerds are so deep and devoted to whatever they are interesting in that they have no time for socializing or for other people. It's like they are in a world of their own. Me, I'm a transformers nerd in a way, ehehhe, at least that's what my family think of me whenever they look at my TF collection, ehhehe. My wife think I'm insane with these TFs figures and video, eheheh. EXACTLY. A nerd is someone with a serious passion for nerdy pursuits. Such as collecting action figures and comics and even video games. -
I remember when Lex Luger showed up out of no where at the Mall of America. Good times.

Martian Manhunter and Swamp Thing are the only two non Bats characters left to be made that don't suck. So I say an all Bats DCUC line would be great. We could get posion ivy and proper Killer Crocs and Banes.
-
I doubt they want it. I could only see them making a Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow figures. The only ones deserving.

tacky.

It looks like they made a mistake and then fixed it. Big deal

What is the market for collectible toys?
JohnnyRebelV2 replied to Celiajholland's topic in Star Wars
The power of the force 2 figures from the 90's don't sell for much at all. They were so popular and sold in such high volumes the first time around that they are very common. Plus the fact that they have redone almost every character in the Saga, 30th or Legacy collections that figures with better sculpts and twice the articulation are killing the POFT2s value as almost no one still actively collects them. However the vintage figures from 77-85 are very valuable. -
is there anyway to cure gold plastic syndrome
JohnnyRebelV2 replied to spystreak's topic in Transformers
I have about 2000 figures and I've never had this happen or even heard of gold plastic syndrome. -
The difference between 2003 Masterpiece OP and 2006?
JohnnyRebelV2 replied to JohnnyRebelV2's topic in Transformers
2003 has the battle damage and it is considered worse? -
What are all the differences between the Masterpiece Optimus Primes? thanks in advance.

You would get the best value for them if you actually do put time and effort into listing them individually. BUT NOT ON EBAY! List them on TFieds & on the forums. Then after selling slows down list them all together. If you don't want to put the time & effort into something like that then don't bother selling them. You might as well then just give them away. Yeah because if you list them on ebay you'll make lots of money, how awfull! Ebay rules the online shopping world. Deal with it.

What's the question again? Can you please repeat it? Isn't that Madonna from Dick Tracy? LOL.
-
Dude not even the question ?.. For me its The Question John Stewart Green Lantern Cyborg Superman Sinestro Corps Deadman comes in last because of his head ?kiliwog? (I'm unsure of...) Yes I am not a fan of the Question and still pissed he won the fan poll.... so boring to me. I disagree, i think its the fact that most non hard hitters in DC just are not as popular as Marvels b listers and even some c listers. Marvel is just more exposed over the last 10-15 years. Draven Draven is 100% right.
-
Hey Matt Mason is back! I guess trying to scam fanboys on forums is easier work than collecting cans.
-
This is a very weak wave so I won't be buying a single one unless it's off Mattycollector.com and they charge $15 or less per figure.
-
DCUC's days are numbered. The figures still look good but most people can't even name these guys. The line should end up as a mattycollector and diamond exclusive

G.I.Joe & Transformers Return To Television In 2010?!?
JohnnyRebelV2 replied to JayC's topic in G.I. Joe
They still stand up???? Yes, they STILL stand up. First, the animation--25 years old!--is better than 90% of anything you'll see on a Saturday morning cartoon. Second, take even the worst of the original cartoon episodes and put it up against one of those Japanese toons that's nothing more than a commercial for a card game. I had the fortitude to sit through a few minutes of one of those shows one day and the voice actors were literally reading game instructions in place of dialogue. A plot and story were not even attempted! Third, (and they may have missed the boat here) but the caracters in the 80s toon look identical to the figures re-released in the 25th ann. line. Kids would have been able to see Gung Ho, Roadblock, and Shipwreck in all kinds of cool action on TV and then see the exact same characters in the toy aile and actually know, and care about who they are. They should have been rerunning the 80s GI Joe cartoon three years ago! All the mini series still hold up(except pyramid) but the lack of effort put into most of the individual episodes doesn't. Arise Serpentor Arise is still nearly perfect. -
He's going to have to pay the amputee a fair buck to go for it. Just like when I was 16 me and my friends rented a "little person" for midget bowling. It wasn't cheap.
