  1. Thats the same fake list we saw last month.
  2. Plus Temple came out before romancing the stone...
  3. When is it coming? I miss the days of Action figures having playsets (RAH) and I will be buying this one as soon as I can find it.
  4. For those who don't like Temple of Doom, what is it that makes you dislike it? Too much action?
  5. All I want is Temple of Doom figures, lots of them. They should make a deluxe pack with the suspension bridge that you can hang from point A to B and with a button in the middle that makes it collapse.
  6. yeah I saw theirs, not too impressed. The chain itself looks like it's made of the twistable plastic string that holds the figures in place in the package.
  7. Don't forget the one deluxe horse version doesn't have a working holster for his gun. Check one more for single carded. By the way I have the single carded ROTLA, KOTCS and horse version.
  8. Does anyone have any idea where I can find a Ball and Chain from any toy line out there anywhere? Even if it's not proper scale? Or how to make your own?
  9. Mine is Temple of Doom. It isn't even a contest. Most people seem to dislike this one the most (Spielberg included) I think it's disliked because there is not enough variety for most people. There are no scenes with Indy as a teacher and he only chases the one artifact(fortune and Glory kid, Fortune and Glory) The darkness of the story must get to people too. I was born the year the movie was made (83' though it came out in 84') I first saw it when I was 4 and the Thuggee's sacrifice of Mola tearing out the heart completely terrified me. I can remember thinking TOD was just as scary as Nightmare on Elm Street, haha! By the time I was 6 or 7 it was no longer scary and it became on of my favorite movies of all time and it still is. What kid didn't want to be Short Round? Raiders is my second favorite with Crusade coming in a distant third (the only one I was old enough to see in the theater when it first hit) KOTCS comes in fourth by default. I liked it enough but it just didn't have the same felling as the original trilogy.
  10. No the one with the horse isn't as good as the single carded ROTLA indy. The one with the horse his legs are spread too far apart. Plus he comes with less accessories and his head sculpt is no better. So if he doesn't have those things how can he be better than the single carded one? The one with the crystal skull does have the best head sculpt though.
  11. There are 8 Indy figures to date. Four single carded and 4 in the deluxe pack. I think single pack ROTLA with idol is the best so far even though his likeness isn't that good. The worst are the temple pitfall and temple trap because they don't have any knee articulation. I really hope they make an Indy from Temple of doom in his classic look but with a better likeness of Harrison.
  12. actually George Lucas's dog was named Indiana.
  13. Hey! I have very fond memories of that dog!
  14. So I finally picked up some of the figures today and I plan on buying more. I noticed they looked rather small so when I got home I stood them next to the 25th Joes and the Joes tower over them! I guess it shows more how tall the Joes are compared to the 3 3/4 they are supposed to be but damn, I'm not used to figures being so small any more! Oh and are they going to wait till the 25th anniversery of these figures until they give them double jointed knees, haha
  15. What? why does Harrison hate Han Solo?
  16. I have several Han Solo figures from 12 years ago that look quite similar to Harison Ford. Why can't Hasbro in 2008 make their figure's face look like the real deal. What went wrong?
  17. Yeah I bought carded indy. Not only does he have the holster for his gun and a second whip but his legs aren't in such a wide stance like horse indy's are.
  18. Sorry I'm new to the figures. Is the indy with the horse and the single pack figure with the idol the exact same figure? I was going to get the double pack with the horse but I saw the single pack has the holster for his gun and a second whip. Is there any differance in the figure itself? thanks!
  19. We need more Snake Eyes figures in the 25th line. I really like the line but there is just not enough Snake Eyes figures. It's really a shame.
  20. I nominate Ace as the biggest piece of trash that shouldn't of been made. Too bad I had to buy him in order to get Wild Weasel. Is any 25th figure worse?
  21. it will stay dead until august and the new figures start to come out.
  22. That is true, none of Marvel's characters can be compared to Batman and Superman. That's because DC is written by pansys for pansys. Marvel pulls in more money every year than dc could dream of. Dc didn't go bankrupt because Ted Turner owned them and he would support most of his failing companies to no end. Take WCW for example. It lost money every year but Ted loved it so Ted kept it until the AOL merger and he lost his ownership and power. personally i think you are full of crap.dc comics have led the way in storys and figures for years.i still reda marvel, but very few,(spoiler)i mean marvel killed capt.america when this country needed a hero in comics and now he's been away trying to get back to earth.come on its almost as bad as the clone saga and thats one story arch that everyone wants to forget.marvel has graet characters i will give you that, but can yopu say other than cap, spidey,ff,iron man,and very few others can even start to compare with green lantern, flash, wonder woman,or even a deathstroke?no you cant and am i the only one that is sick of wolvrerine being in every damn book....yeah he's a loner alright. get a clue dumb@$$ dc comics have better storys, characters, and figs than marvel has.can you name one character up to the standards of a batman or any other dc a listers?i doubt it.wolverine, cable, and many others have had seies that have gotten cancelde how many batman, superman books are there that sells monthly?because unlike wolverine you can always tell a story withe them without having to re-write their origin to make money every other month. I can name 50 marvel characters that are superior to anyone DC has in every way possible. Arguing against Marvels dominance of Dc is like a ##$%$# trying to bite it's own ear. It's pointless but it will try anyways. In 1986 Dc erased their entire heritage because the company was such a undisciplined mess. Marvel has put out some garbage but at the end of the day they have the best fictional characters ever created and dc will always be second rate.
