  1. I am hoping for good stuff, I was really expecting San Diego Comicon to have the anwers to the questions we have been asking for, I forgot that the New York Comicon is an important one also. Well, it's alot better than waiting until July. I couldn't believe for a second that they were cancelling the line, it just wouldn't make any sense considering they put Jesse Falcon on board, and we got alot of stuff at Toy Fair. But it is easier to spread a rumor than speak the truth.

  2.

Well it looks like Jesse Falcon is having a major influence on Hasbro and how they are making toys. Though we are in a dead period for Marvel Legends toy news, it looks like we are getting a major upgrade from what we saw last year. I am very excited just from reading that article. We are going to get old Marvel Legends quality. If this year's Marvel Legends look as good as the Legendary Comic Heroes, (which I think is going to happen) I will be very happy and I will tell all Hasbro bashers to SHUT UP!

  3. Wolverine in a dress.

"No-whining allowed" Spiderman ("Oh, woe is me...Poor Aunt May...Why does JJJ hate me? Why doesn't MJ understand?? Waaaaaaahhhh!!!!")

REALLY Dead Jean Grey: With an actual coroner's report and special toe-tag confirming that she's DEAD!!!

Patriotic Captain America (One who protects his country, kick's ass and takes names...Not the whiny, cringing, left-wing, conflicted, peacenik weasel we've had to endure since 9-11. I'm so glad he's dead...And he was wrong in CIVIL WAR.)

President Tony Stark: One of the few real men left in the Marvel Universe...He'd make a great President. Maybe even better than Bush..?

Polka-Dot Hulk: The variants could be real rare! Think of the possibilities.

This is so totally off topic so forgive me now. But Captian America was wrong in Civil War? Are you really serious about that? Since the heroes started working for Sheild, we have seen all sorts of things wrong with shield I'm only going to name two. One Skrulls are throughout the fifty state initiative, and two the anti-mutant terrorist religion group the Purifiers has spies in Shield. Now why would Captain America of all people be for wanting to fight and put people in prison that he fought along side him, mind you put in prison without trial. Just my opinion. What would really be funny if Stark turned out to be a Skrull who would be your real man then? But something that is on topic, A thing that I did not add on my list is the Warbound, the new Abomination, unleashed Sentry from WWH, and a Modern Hulkbuster armor.

  4. The problem with opening figures is you don't know what will happen to them. One of the your cherished rare figures can fall off the display stand and break to pieces, now you're screwed because it takes major cash to get a new one. I opened up my Iron Man Figures for the Armory now I regret it because eveytime i look up on the shelve I think thier going to fall and go to pieces. I'm planning on buying more Iron Man movie figures just to keep in the box. Packaged figures look cool displayed too, I really don't have a problem with either way. Also think about it this way if you get in a tight jam on money you can always sell them to get you by, in the most extreme cases. When selling figures it is always better to have them in the box.

  5. Wow alot of people must of thought this topic was an April fools joke and didn't even bother to view it. Oh well I hope the people that placed bids which is only people from the forum it looks like get those figures. If I see I rare figures that I'm not going to buy I'll try posting it here so you guys can know. I know its hard to shop and get rare figures at good prices.

  6. Hasbro just switched the movie lines to 6 inch scale to make them compatible with ML. They know their collector base will buy 6 inch figures. They delay ML figures to not compete with the movie figures.

    Don't Panic.

That really makes sense, because we look at the Spider-man 3 movie figures last year stayed on shelves, well they are still on shelves. Delaying the Marvel Legends wave to give the Iron Man toys time to sell is a good idea. Because after awhile I'm not going to want to see Iron Man movie figures around. By awhile I mean, May of 2009, I want to see new product on the shelves by then. Hopefully holding out on the Marvel Legends line these toys can sell and make room for new stuff.

  7. The figures I really want cost way too much. So glad they made a 2nd Abomination (ML-13) and we are getting a new Absorbing Man. The originals were going for $90.00 and better.

I almost spent 25 bills on the Super Skrull, but when I got ready to pay, the price jumped up to double that and Forget about Kang, he is going for over $100.00 on CMD.

I may just have to customize my own Skrull ......

That would problably cost more than buying it on ebay they always have them on there. Just shop around I found a seller that sold the regular Super Skrull for 25.00 and the two variants for 16.00 each. If you want the variants check my profile for a topic I just posted there are some up on ebay that haven't been bidded on yet there is a possibililty of getting both for under 20.00. As far as the regular one goes just hunt on ebay an I'm sure you'll find one in the 20 to 30 dollar range.

  9. Well, I was window shopping on Ebay, since I'm broke right now and can't buy figures like I want to I saw some pretty rare figures you guys might want to check out Phasing Vision, Both Super Skrull Variants, Wasp Variant, and Series Five Red Skrull. I posted this topic because someone might be looking for these figures. And I know this forum is supposed to help collectors out so, here is the link http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZrattleme1

  10. Problably 30-50 dollars. I try to make the limit around 40 dollars that how much I paid for FF Classics Super Skrull MOC after shipping. I don't pay high prices anymore I have learned to shop around and look for the best price. I know people say if you really want the figure you will pay, but if you really really want the figure that won't slash your budget to pieces you will shop around and get a good bargin. I have noticed when you do that getting the figure gives you greater satisfaction.

  11. I will also have to file this rumor under "hope it isn't true, but I won't worry about it until I hear from an official source". I've done business with ToyGlobe before (just once) and was so thoroughly unimpressed, that I wouldn't take their word alone for anything.

Yeah, I went on Toyglobe a few months back and they had that Marvel Heroes line still up for preorder, even though it was confirmed that it was cancelled months before. You can't trust a site like Toyglobe for information, as far as Black Bolt being in the same wave as King Hulk that would make sense because isn't that one of the people he fights in WWH? Maybe the Hulk wave will be a WWH wave. Maybe Hasbro is re-thinking wave four and the rest of the year's waves to avoid the masses of complaints that they recieved from last year. People complained about some of Hasbro's figures being too rushed, maybe they are actually putting in time to give a good well articulated, well painted product. With Jesse Falcon on board maybe now they are working to show us good product. I bet anyone by Comicon we will have some suprises in the ML or Marvel Toy world, but I think they will be good and not a complete cancellation of the line. Once again this topic started because of information from Toyglobe, who had the Marvel Heroes line up for preorder 3 months after it was cancelled. Here's and old saying, "Rumors and lies circle around the world, before truth can even get it's pants on". We can't worry over specualtion, only facts. #US1#

  12. Just wondering, but has there been any word about when the next wave will come out? It kills me that the number one comic book character I want, Black Bolt, is on hold.

Me and you both, me and you both. I love Black Bolt too, sucks finally I get an oppurtunity to get him and he is taking forever to hit stores, I'll just be patient.

  13. um does any body but me notice that they have wave 5 up even though we were never told what the final line up was going to be? except Spiral.

i have to agree with other and say that i never believe this sight. it usually wrong and goes but romour more then anything.

I think we are supposed to have Silver savage, Black suit Spider-man, Adam Warlock, US Agent, Spiral, and the final one escapes me.

  14. Everybody just breath a second I looked at Big Bad Toy Store and they still have them up for preorder. Heres the URL

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product...amp;mode=retail Hasbro has shown us some of the stuff we are going to see this year, I wouldn't worry about it being cancelled. I said this before don't bet on new Marvel Legends until May or June then Wave five in July or August. Let us not jump to conclusions and be patient if Marvel Legends was canceled we would hear word from JayC who gives us most of our info on Marvelous News.

  16. Well now that I have a full armory full of Iron Man figures now I was thinking which armor is the absolute best in speed and strength combined. I have to say the Extremis Amror, and Silver Centurion are the best because they are very powerful but are not as limited in speed as Warmachine and Hulkbuster. What armor or armors do you think are the absolute best overall?

  17. He's right. It's based off of the Marvel Adventures series. It's a series of books dedicated to kids. Simple story lines, easier to read, continunity free, etc.. They have Avengers, F4, Spidey, Hulk, and Iron Man. Interesting is that it's actually issue 11, that came out like a week ago. 12 isn't even out yet.

Yes! Now I have proof thanks for that Batman27, I really appreciate it!

  18. ok i don't know if anyone else found and posted about this so don't tear me apart if they did. i have the mark 2 & 3 toys along with the iron monger, and today i picked up the target exclusive silver centurion figure. i didn't open it like my other toys cause i was planning on getting another one with a better paint app, but then noticed something with the package. On the front in the top right corner is some writing is reads: "As seen in the movie and Marvel Adventures Iron Man comic (Issue #12)", now i just blew it off as what ever until i noticed that the same massage wasn't on any other of my figures packages (not even the exclusive war machine). then i remembered i had a comic book from the ML series silver centurion iron man figure, where he fights and defeats Iron Monger(comic: Iron Man # 200)(SPOILER ALERT )

    Iron Monger Killed HIMSELF

, but i could they have possibly have translated this into the movie, its on the SC toys box and no other one, is it a mistake? or just nothing at all? or a possible scoop? you decide

maybe the iron-monger beats the crap out of iron-man during the night time battle we keep seeing in the previews, and maybe he then builds the SC suit, wouldn't that be a freakin sweet ending. im just thinking aloud someone else please give me your thoughts.

i copied this from user Dreeday as proof:

Just to answer about the Marvel Adventures of Ironman it is a new comic series that Marvel made recently along with such names as the Marvel Adventures of Hulk. This target exclusive Armor is not Silver Centurion (as many people think), it is an armor from issue twleve or thirteen of Marvel Adventures of Ironman which does not follow the old Ironman stories but new ones just like the Hulk one and whatever Marvel Adventures comics they have. I know I posted a topic stating that it was but when I bought it I realized it was not Silver Centurion at all but a new armor from this story line, but still a good stand in for Silver Centurion.

  19. I recently posted a topic about this and I proposed a Super Skrull Box set with the three Super Skrulls that appeared in Illuminati #5 and also possibly and Illuminati box set. According to the previews of Secret Invasion the World War two invaders are coming back as Skrull impersonators which were The Original Human Torch (the one from Marvels), WWII Captain America, Bucky, and Namor (green trunks). We already have all of these except the original Human Torch, which from a recent Hasbro poll looks like is going to be made. I think maybe there should be a Skrull variant box set of these Skrull WWII invaders. That should be enough Skrull for the year. :D Also the head swapping idea that xmenstorm1 proposed would be good for the WWII invaders box set.
