  1. I have to say the Satellite Armor looks wicked cool. I'm not too sure about the Cap Armor. Maybe if they give the blue more shine...

You're the custom wiz that should be no problem for you.

I recently purchased new silver paint. Need to get some translucent blue. Bring 'em on!

    Thats the spirit!

  2. So much good stuff is coming out. I am glad I have all summer to save up, I plan on spending like 300 to 400 dollars on Marvel Legends stuff! But this something I like doing so I will make a way to get them. Save, Save, Save is the saying for summer no Starbucks, and no eating out. It will be worth it though.

  3. I am hoping for these, but problably won't happen

A Modern Thor and Destoyer, Odin and Surftur

I think these are likely because they already have scuplts of these and is Hasbro price friendly (and they are Secret Invasion related)

Black Bolt and Daredevil with Skrull variants (that has various power attachments flaming hands, wolverine claws, mystic energy hands, strechy arms, ect.)

  4. OMFG that "Limited Edition" Hulk is a repaint of ML1 with a new head... What a jib :(

i know WTF????????? if anything it should've been the face-off hulk.

    *%$#@ you hasblow!!!!!.

plus now we have a 6" scale hulk who has to fight a tiny abomination, cause you know they won't make a 6" scale abomination, they barely made a 6" scale hulk. cheap *$#%@ bastards

WAH WAH WAH!!! @bH@ GD there are some WHINERS on this website. Just a couple of days everyone was worried that Marvel Legends were cancelled and now Hasbro pretty much dropped a plethora of new Marvel Legends previews on us at the NYCC con and your CRYING about not getting another 6" scale Hulk. NEWSFLASH!!! There was one in TB ML 1(3 if you count the different types of fingers ones and the ripped labcoat variant), the 1st App one in the TB Sentinel Series (along with its variant), 1 in the Face-Off series 1 with a open-mouth variant,

HML 1 Planet Hulk, a Marvel Select one thats pretty bitchin, the whole Hulk Classics line from ToyBiz, and now Hasbro is coming out with TWO friggin Hulk Marvel Legends series (Hulk Classics 2 and 3?) along with a BAF of the friggin Red Hulk and your crying. Just do us a favor and go play in traffic.

We are getting enough Hulk to last awhile, we should not complain about not getting the face off hulk and anyway it doesn't even have alot of articulation its just a good scale compared to other legends. But I can guarantee you when the Ed Mcguiness Hulk comes out, everybody will be happy. I'm just glad there is good Hulk stuff coming out besides those Hulk movie figures that I won't acknowlege exists. @loll@ "Don't worry be happy". Thats how the song goes right? @loll@

  5. Hasbro had to sell the wave to Target. They had USAgent in the wave and the Target executive asked the Hasbro rep "who's the guy with the sheild" The Hasbro rep then replied "He's like Captain America, but he's not" The Target exec then said "give us a Wolverine instead and you have a deal. The kids LOVE wolverine." The Hasbro rep than said "done and done. We'll also give a Hulk as the BAF instead of Drax or Thanos and we'll paint him RED!"

That's why we're getting series 6 Wolvie repainted instead of USAgent.

Thanks target exec now I can get the Red Hulk I have been yearning for since the end of World War Hulk. Plus we don't need a Thanos, the Marvel Select one is fine, though it is 7 inch scale Thanos is a big guy anyway. I plan on getting that Marvel select Thanos this summer he will fit in well with wave 4 (its wave four because this series comes before Nemesis) Adam Warlock. Well thats my rant for the day. I'm happy unlike the old Legends collectors I don't have any wolverines or hulks (except Planet Hulk) so I am actually getting stuff I don't have.

  6. I'm hoping for a Wolverine line so I can get a Deadpool and Gambit at a good price, along with a cool Sabertooth. I'm a new collector so I am always for reissues of stuff that I missed. Plus Wolverine has been with so many heroes and people, alot of figures can apply to a line that deals with him. Look at the Wolverine Origins comic line, what people have not been in this series of Comics? A Wolverine line so alot of potential for alot of cool figures.

  7. i was just wondering if Hasbro's decision to make the nemesis series a wal-mart exclusive and the Red Hulk series a target exclusive was planned or made up a couple of weeks ago.

ok at first it sounded like both waves would be widely available but no one even saw the exclusive thing coming, so maybe this was decided on a couple of days ago or so. to me it seems like they had too many lines coming to stores near the same and they split it up amongst them to avoid the lines crowding on each other and to prevent to push back of some of the lines.

really, in a perfect world, they would have 3 different marvel lines out at one time, the hulk ones, red hulk series, and the nemesis series, plus the 2 packs and the new iron man movie toys, so did they split it so that only 2 ML lines would be there at once?

i think its very plausible but i think ultimately we wont see the nemesis series until january just because of how crazy it gets during holiday season.

    anyone else share this view?

I agree it looks like Hasbro is making better business moves so that more of thier products will sell. Wave one and 1.5 of the Iron Man figures have all summer to get sold then, they are bringing in new product little by little to assure that we are not overwhelmed, also the Nemesis wave will problably be in January after the fall prodcuts get wiped out by holiday shoppers. It is really a better business move on Hasbro's part.

  8. So I guess the word is official no U.S. Agent or box sets. That sucks because there goes our Omega flight, and wrecking crew sets, which I think we all had our hearts set on. So that begs the question why does Hasbro hate us?

Don't give up on the Wrecking crew, I bet that they will put half in one two pack and half in the other. Even then it would sell like wild fire.

  9. Besides, Iron Man armors I collect everything MOC, but for that Red Hulk who I ranted about for some months I now have to made and exception. Now I have to buy two of wave four or five (whatever it is). Is anyone else excited about this BAF?

  10. guy that "carnage" that you guys were talking but isn't carnage it's a repaint to make it look like toxin.

No thats Carnage, it said it on the label that was in front of it. Besides Toxin has Venom's teeth and is all black/dark Blue on his abodomen, forearms & hands, and legs below the knees. If that is supposed to be Toxin they are better off reissuing the the Toybiz one like they did for Super Skrull (who is coming back in Secret Invasion, awesome!).

  11. Apparently the $20 price tag was a typo. They're $15. Still that's obnoxiously high for what I'm willing to pay for what they're giving. I'd happily sign this petition. By the looks of things, hardly anyone's pleased about this. We're up in arms.

Well if you go on Marvelousnews site and look at the pictures posted, all of the Hulk wave figures shown are indeed 20 dollars. They are big figures, oil is high right now what do you expect? If that was a typo they had typos on every Hulk wave figure that was displayed. It is just for this wave because Hasbro doesn't like using alot of plastic, and with the way the economy is right now I can understand, so now we have to pay. We can try to petition it but once that wave hits shelves we would all cop out in the first hour. @loll@

  12. Yea, and the thing is with all these armors coming out, I'm not going to feel rushed to get them all. I have almost every ML Iron Man released and have plenty for my armory. These are nice, but I'll fit them in when I can.

Yeah, I have all of the ML armors except for modern, and the series one variants. They are going to be real good additions especially that Satellite one.

  13. Its inflation, oh well, just as many are made about oil prices, us collectors are made about the increase in figure price. Here is my advice get the hulk figures you want and trade for or buy the other BAF peices that you need. Let us play the game, lets not have the game play us. "There is more than one way to skin a cat," as old people always seem to say.

  14. i know its been said a million times(maybe in other post??), that the hulk movie figs look like absolute crap, but does hasbro really know what there doing? we know there supposed to be proportioned with the 3 3/4, cause hulks bigger(Duh!!), but who is this line for? the kids (i would say obviously), i know why there smaller (oil prices are shooting up), but all i see these toys really being after lets say 3 weeks is peg holders, a new SM3 line. so why would hasbro bother?

i wouldn't care if they release a hulk movie fig(or a small line, maybe only 2 figs?) (one in proportion to the 6 inch scale) later, hell i wouldn't even care if it was just a movie repaint of the face-off hulk. Im not bashing all Hasbro's Hulks, cause im probably going to putdown some heavy money for the SDCC08 Hulk legends entire series thing, im just bashing the movie figs.

    what im asking everyone is,

-Does hasbro know this figs look terrible and have the possibility of being a SM3 repeat?

-If they do then why make them?

-How many of you are actually going to buy any of these?

-Will these be a SM3 repeat?

    see these for reference/desirability:

*copied from spidermanskrull at original post

Just as the Spider-man 3 figures, the Hulk figures will be redeemed in thier own Legends Wave. Except for Spider-man 3 the Sandman BAF brought it back down again, well anyway disregard these movie figures they do not exist. @loll@ Is my hypnosis doing anyhthing for you? The first time I saw these I just looked over them to the point of non-existence, I just want my King Hulk, Absorbing Man, Ed Mcguinness Hulk, and Red Hulk thats going to be in Series 5 (damn thats going to be 70 dollars before tax!). Just ignore these "abominations" @loll@ . Abomination reffering to Hulk figures, that was kind of funny.

  15. I'm looking for a stand or stands that would hold a sufficiant number of MLs (70+). I want something kind of like stairs, where the figures in the back row would be raised slightly higher than the one in front of it. Like this:

Right now I'm using stacked boxes and it looks tacky. Anybody know where I could find something along like this?

Wow your collection is beyond impressive, I must say.

  16. That Mr. Fantastic is from the old Mike Wieringo style box set but repainted in classic colors. The Thing is from the HML FF wave but with classic color trunks. I'd like him to be a bit bigger but I doubt it. Where's Sue and Johnny?

on their way to MYCC ill bet. im hoping the use the box set sue, since its got the best hip sculpt imo.

The forge and wolverine are awesome, and so is Elektra and Ronin. I am getting both and also the Skrull variants for Elektra and Ronin.

  17. Can everybody just hold thier tongues until this weekend please? Lets give them a chance then start up questions such as these after we a given some confirmation.

  18. so what ifit a reused body? that not why people wanted him. they wanted cuase his a new character. not only that but his a obscure characters.

Not only that but the War Hulk body is good, they also used it for the Planet Hulk which is one of my favorite figures next to House of M Iron Man and House of M Hulk. So what if they reuse the body it is a good scuplt I rather have a reused good sculpt than a crappy new one. This way this wierd character won't be a disappointment.
