  1. I had Whataburger in Jacksonville, FL and liked the onion rings but didn't think the burgers were all that special. Cool set up though.
  2. Snagged a Black CC because I thought that would be the popular one but I guess I was wrong... oh well... I don't do much MOC stuff but this will be one of them...
  3. Do these places still have lay away programs? Seriously, if they do, and people see the stuff they want, just go stash it until it's OK to buy...
  4. Found these today but couldn't buy because I didn't have the fundage at the moment:
  5. Wow. Darth Bandon ahead of Darth Malak and Darth Revan not even on the list?!? #WTF#
  6. I got Boba and Darth Maul for my brother for XMas (at Toys R Us). I also saw Han, Vader and a Storm Trooper...
  7. Was at two different Toys R Us's the last two days and the ONLY thing they had was the Wave with Jango, Voovif Monn, Training Clone Trooper, Padme and Destroyer Droid. Rows and rows and rows of just those figures. Why couldn't they do that for the Malak/Revan wave? I also saw a toy light saber for The Force Unleashed. It had these spike things going up from the hilt. There was only one so I don't know if it was supposed to be out yet...
  8. Don't know if anyone has seen it yet, but today I picked up the new issue of Lee's Toy Review that has Maul, Bane and Nihilus on the cover and it is frickin sweet! There is a good sized article about the Evolutions series and I actually found a release date for the first time on it. Looks like the rereleased ones will be out January 1st and the new series will follow about a month later. The rereleased the others as placeholders since the new series wouldn't be out on time. Also, there is going to be a fourth set that they haven't announced yet to go with the Maul/Nihilus/Bane, QuiGon/Bultar/Luke, Mandalore/Boba/Jango sets... It also talks a little about sets that will come out next year, and it said there would be another Mandalorian character other than Mandalore the Indominable. "I will also confirm that Mandalore is not the only Mandalorian to come out next year; fans can look for a couple exciting ones in the comic packs next year as well, tied to the Marvel Comic story line. And that's all I want to confirm right now because that pretty much gives the secret away!" I don't know much about that line so I have no idea who it would be. The other intriguing part of the article is the question of if other sets will have Expanded Universe characters: "There will be at least four new ones in the Spring, in adition to the three originals that are being repacked. Four more sets are in development with a chance that two of them might make it out in the Spring, but if not they will come out in the Fall when we reset everything for the Clone Wars line." Scanner is not working otherwise I'd scan these...
  9. I am kind of confused by something I saw today. I was at a Walmart and I saw the new wave of comic packs. It was the one that was supposed to have Anakin and the Assasin droid... but instead... it had Anakin, Vader and Yoda. The packaging said Assasin droid on the side and had the picture but it was a three pack. I almost bought it, but all three that they had in stock were the same thing, so I didn't think it was that big of a deal. Anyone have any incite on this? Also, managed to pick up a gold coin Darth Vader, Darktrooper, Mace Windu and concept Stormtrooper, along with concept Han Solo. They had that entire wave but that was the only one I wanted. Couldn't believe I saw a gold coin Vader... hadn't seen that one before...
  10. I was at the Newbury Comics at the Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester, CT and they had a Gold Coin Concept Chewbacca for $19.99 but I didn't care that much. They had like four concept Han Solo's, and the entire wave with the two Ewoks and ghost Anakin and such. Just didn't feel like paying 20 bucks for any of them... though the gold coin Chewy was tempting...
  11. Well... it's official. I am now the owner of a regular priced Darth Revan via Target. My brother actually found it and also picked up Malak, Yoda w/Kywhatever and the Starkiller hero, while at a different Target, I managed to get Pre Cyborg Grievous for him (we made the Grievous/Revan trade). Now I need to get my hands on another one to leave in the package haha. Those battle packs are impressive. I don't know that I will get one, but if I do, that Hoth pack is pretty sweet...
  12. I went to Walmart at 5AM and I am pretty confident they actually put all their Star Wars stuff in the back to make room for other stuff. @grumpy@ They had... shall we say... jack shizzle.
  13. Does anyone know how often they update their "coming soon" stuff. I actually have the Darth Revan figure as my freaking home page so that every time I come online it goes to that page so that I don't miss it, but I am always afraid it'll pop up when I am at work and can't check...
  14. Was at Walmart the other night when they were putting their order out... five boxes of new figures... EVERY-SINGLE-ONE the same BS that keeps cluttering the shelves. EVERY-SINGLE-ONE. Yay! More pit droids and troopers and Luke's. This makes absolutely no sense to me. None. Wouldn't you think they would want some of the most popular characters in the series to be well stocked for people to buy? Hasbro doesn't make their money on the secondary market, why are they catering to those dealers? I still want to know why I have to pay $25 for the one figure I want. I refuse to do it. I actually refuse to buy anything else Hasbro until I see a Revan sitting on someone's shelf at its normal price. I should have just stuck to McFarlane figures... I've had an easier time finding CHASE figures then I have figures from your average set. Makes no sense to me.
  15. Why do they keep putting out the same crap over and over and over and over again? I am so sick of making my "rounds" going from Walmart to Toys R Us to Target trying to find one freaking Darth Revan figure. It's ridiculous. Meanwhile the same old garbage sits on the shelves for months taking up space because it's the same stuff that everyone already has. Enough. Why should I have to spend $25 for one figure on the secondary market when I haven't seen any hint of stores getting more than one box locally? I'd understand if these things were supposed to come out like, you know, a week ago... but what are we going on? Two months? Ridiculous...
