  1. Well, since I'm not a mindless zombie and don't buy every figure that comes down the pike, Hasbro hasn't saved me any more than Toy Biz would have.
  2. I disagree, but then, that's always the risk when you stack the odds so high in a story; inevitably someone's going to be disappointed. I suppose one could say that the Red Hulk storyline should have been in the Hulk comic, and Hercules should have been given the new series, but from a marketing perspective, I can see why they'd take this route. Hulk hasn't had the most stable title in recent years in terms of publication and numbering, anyway.
  3. No idea on the BAF, but the rest of the wave is supposed to be... U.S. AGENT 65356931890 UNION JACK 65356931892 BLACK SUITED SPIDER-MAN 65356931891 SILVER SAVAGE 65356931893 ADAM WARLOCK 65356931894 SPIRAL 65356931895 Thanks for the info Jar Jar. What are the numbers you have listed next to the figure names? Weird how they are giving us the lineup for wave 5 but not who's the BAF? Wonder why? BTW , that Spiral figure does look real good & I hate the character. Because this is a retail inventory, along with DCPI numbers. For obvious reasons, stores don't have any listings for BAFs.
  4. Looks spiffy. I hope the new Spidey looks as good.
  5. Well, if you like your Hulk green, that's still three distinct personalities right there: The Professor, the Savage Hulk, and the "Gravage" Hulk, a merging of the Grey and Savage identities. "Gravage" is the Hulk who's been fighting on another planet, and then coming back and starting WWH. As for why Bruce is in a coma and there's a new colored Hulk in town, the answer is simple: the Hulk just initiated one of the largest conflicts in recent memory, rivaled only by the Civil War itself. From a storytelling standpoint, anything he does now will only be a step down; how can he raise the stakes any higher? And from a marketing standpoint, the public is no doubt a bit Hulked-out after all that's happened. So, they're going to let the traditional Hulk rest for a bit. He'll be back. I'm pretty sure the Red Hulk is either Bruce himself, or Rick Jones. And doesn't the Warbound series take place during Hulk's time in exile, hence why the Red King is still alive?
  6. Regardless of its actual business relationship, for years the Marvel Select plan has been to produce figures that wouldn't be feasible or appropriate for over-the-counter Legends. Generally, this means artist or story-specific character, or those not toyetic enough for mass retail. Hulk...isn't any of those, which is why he's rather confusing.
  7. I don't get it. Don't we already have one of these? Her hair style is different at the very least.............. There was a Toxin in the very last Toy Biz Spider-Man wave; just wanted to make sure you were aware of it. Sorry, I meant the first appearance, the one without a mouth and teeth/fangs. Lemme edit my post. Thanks. You know it's not a matter of first appearance and latter appearance? He changes his appearance based on the situation.
  8. Leave it to a guy to only be interested in She-Hulk's body.

  10. Welcome to the forums. ^__^ As has been stated, there are plenty of "We Want" threads about, so don't think you're imposing. Dream...the impossible dream....
  11. There was a time when six inch figures were derrided for their inability to mesh with the past decade of Marvel product. The only reason we think of them as standard now is because Toy Biz a) Made quality product and was dedicated to the scale.
  12. Thing is, though, the timing of this figure misses both of those windows. He'll be released after WWH fever has died down, but before Hulk movie fever starts up. And Marvel Zombies are incredibly popular, though I'll never understand why.
  13. Which leaves Jean and Wanda leading the pack? Still, though, neither make much sense. "Sir, we have one of the most powerful mutants in the world at our disposal, with godlike powers. What should we do?" "Teach her kung fu!"
  14. Maybe if this guy had come out a few weeks ago, when the WWH wave of attention was still going strong...
  15. I want more X-Men movie figures more than I want 95% of Marvel's character library, so keep your obnoxious smilies to yourself. I think you are highly outnumbered here I don't mind the odd one thrown in a wave but I don't want 2+ in the same wave @loll@ Neither do I. Why do I want some useless Blob bit along with my Juggernaut? Make more Movie and Ultimate figures, and put them in their own waves.
  16. Not to diss the figure itself, because it looks fine, but it seems really out of place for how generic it is. I mean, I hate Marvel Zombies, but at least their figures belong under the Select banner.
  17. Sooooo.... That's it? It's just a generic Hulk figure? Not based on any current or classic storyline? Just another big angry green guy in purple pants that Toy Biz and Hasbro give us by the truckload. Oooookay.

  19. And i don`t like the height either: the soldiers have a bigger head and they`re taller than Strucker. Well, yeah. Strucker's the mastermind, and these guys are just goons. Of course they're bigger than him. It's the only reason he keeps them around.
  20. Yeah, but she looks better than the SMC and ML versions of MJ.
  21. The Fantasti-Car can only hold five-inch figures. None of your six-inch figures will fit in there. And I question the need for BAF Galactus, what with him being an incomproeal force of nature in FF2. But no doubt you've already thought of that. EDIT: And no Hulk Dogs? For shame. =P
  22. Ha. Any Hulk is the best version of that aspect of Banner's psyche. Because if they don't all have their own individual names and traits at the moment, they will eventually.
  23. Yes. Yes! Thank you! Someone gets exactly where I'm coming from. ^___^ Ahem. I think that ultimately, Marvel will end up asking us to ignore the very "Real world" elements that we were already ignoring until they went and brough them up. This will, of course, ring hollow, but that's what we've come to in the name of a big event.
  24. Well then, you need to stop boggling my mind. =-p Although it does give me an excuse to say the word "boggle." And that's always fun.
