  1. There comes a point in time where an owner must realize, it wasnt the managers fault. The players just SUCKED.
  2. Well it seems that the relationship between me and my girlfriend of 3 years has finally come to end. We had such good times together and now that shes gone im utterly miserable. To think that someone could feel as bad as I do is astonishing. We go to different college's, that is probably what caused this whole thing but I have to vent to someone, or it will keep on killing me forever. Its sad because I keep thinking of all the things we did like go to a Billy Joel concert, or how she used to look so cute in her pajamas when we would watch movies together. I dont know what to do with myself. Im really depressed...thanks for listening.
  3. I enjoyed the MNF game, but honestly, ESPN talked about hurricane Katrina more than they talked about the football game. They talked about it so much I thought I was watching a news report.
  4. hate it (especially long ones) Jogging
  5. Yea their offense is doing great, and I dont even know why. Grossman is looking amazing. And as for the defense? thats speaks for itself.
  6. No wonder why everything at Tower Records is so expensive, because they are poor. Seriously, they have a great selection of music and DVD's, but they are way overpriced.
  7. My reaction to every game that has just been played this past weekend: Houston 24 Indianapolis 43 I expected this to occur. The colts being one of the best team's in the league and the Texan's being one of the worst, this score is pretty self explanatory. New Orleans 34 Green Bay 27 This game was unpredictable, it was really a throw up between these two teams. Green Bay just couldnt produce enough points in the end to pull it out, but Brett Favre looked great. Cleveland 17 Cincinnati 34 This game was highly predictable. As the Bengals are emerging into the great team they are, the Browns are still trying to figure themselves out. Palmer passed for over 300 yards while Rudi Johnson was shredding it up on the ground. The browns never had a chance, even with Cincinnatis poor defense. Detroit 7 Chicago34 Two names: Brian Urlacher/Lance Briggs. The Lions didnt have a chance against this defense. Let alone any defense in the league. It seems as though the Lions will never win a game. Oakland 6 Baltimore 28 Ok, Oakland is currently the worst team in the league. In fact, they just might be the worst team I have ever seen. Their offense is absolutely pathetic, and their defense isnt the greatest either. Warren Sapp's two sacks were a fluke, he didnt even have a solo tackle. Dont expect Oakland to be going anywhere for a while. Oh, and as for Baltimore, they are looking damn good. Tampa Bay 3 Atlanta 14 The hype over Tampa Bay this past summer has been ecstatic, but their play hasnt been. Chris Simms loves to throw interceptions and their Cadillac seems broken. Atlanta is looking decent. NY Giants 30 Philadelphia 24 This game was a fight to the end, with the Gaints coming out on top in a tremendous fashion. Both these teams were pretty equally matched, Philly just fell apart in the end. Not much else to say. Carolina 13 Minnesota 16 What is the deal with Carolina?. Fans and analysts alike have chosen them to win the super bowl. Could we be seeing one of the biggest busts in recent years? Only time will tell. Buffalo 16 Miami 6 Culpepper just cant seem to get it done early. His team has lost their first two games and they arent showing any good signs. Buffalo isnt the greatest either, which makes this Miami loss even more surprising. Arizona 10 Seattle 21 The outcome of this game surprised me quite a bit. Arizona seems to have improved their team tremendously, but the results of this game show otherwise. Its still early, and nothing is set in stone. For Seattle, Shaun Alexander didnt look great, but at least he had a touchdown. St. Louis 13 San Francisco 20 St. Louis seems to be in a time of confusion. I dont think anyone knows whats going on with that team. San Francisco seems to be showing some signs of life, Frank Gore is doing much better than Barlow ever did, so at least there's something for 49ers fans to be happy about. Tenessee 7 San Diego 40 The biggest massacre of the week was well expected. Tenessee might be right up their with Oakland in running for the worst team, and Kerry Collins is about as useful as a bag of dirt. San Diego looks to be one of the best teams out of the gate, Rivers is passing like a pro and Tomlinson is doing his usual thing. I think the Chargers are showing early signs of Super Bowl potential. New England 24 NY Jets 17 The outcome of this game was pretty predictable. The Jets looked promising after week one, but there was no way they were gonna keep up with the Patriots. End of story. Kansas City 6 Denver 9 I think the injury to Trent green may have hurt the Chiefs a little, but not much considering the fact that Larry Johnson danced over people like it was Saturday Night Fever. However great his performance was, it made no difference in the end as the Broncos came out on top. Washington 10 Dallas 27 Before the season started many people thought the Redskins would come out roaring. Well they certainly came out, but it definately wasnt roaring. Beaten two times in a row, and doing pretty much nothing on offense, they could be an early bust. Pittsburgh 0 Jacksonville 9 They couldn't even muster up a point? Pittsburgh looked absolutely deflated in their Monday night performance. Roethlisberger looked dreadful against the Jaguar defense, and Parker might as well have sat on the bench. At least they can be happy about their defense. As for the Jaguars, that defensive performace was outstanding, it seems Jacksonville fans have something to be excited about. And that about does it. I will be back for next weeks reactions.
  8. When it comes to the biggest rivalry in sports, which side do you take? I am really interested to see how the results will turn out. The reason I didnt make another "No preference/Other" poll choice is because I dont want to know which teams you root for, I want to know specifically, no matter where you are from, which team you root for when the Yankees and Red Sox play each other. Of course, being from NY. YANKEES!
  9. I go to Towson University in Maryland (just outside of Baltimore). I just save up some of the money my parents give me and buy a movie every now and than.
  10. Two big fat words explains my hatred for: MOULIN ROUGE Everyone including critics thought this movie was fantastic. Worst movie ever. (Yay. First post on this site since the start of my college career)
  11. I love the detail on the rippage in the face, great figure.
  12. Recently bought: True Lies BasEketball Naked Gun Grandmas Boy Amityville horror (remake) Jarhead Raising Arizona Rush Hour Die Hard
  13. Anything made from Lions Gate is going to be amazing in my opinion. The films arent going to be great, but they will definately be entertaining. If a movie contains an unbelievable amount of blood you know I will be there. The Hills Have Eyes (Remake) in my opinion was one of the best, and most entertaining films made in recent times. I went into the theatre expecting nothing, but what I received was a film of much greater depth than I had thought. it had the perfect amount of bloodspill combined with great suspense and a clean look. Although I will be going to see "The Descent", I am definately more excited about "Pulse". I feel like they have been advertising the movie for the past decade. Although it doesnt seem to contain any gore, it looks damn scary. I havent really been deep down scared in a while, Im hoping this movie will quench my thirst.
  14. So im in my backyard and i kick a ball into a patch of bushes. I go, pick it up, and what happens? I trip over a branch, sprain my ankle, and fall onto the gravel. I have now sprained my left and right ankle a combined amount of 35 times. I cannot feel the sprain I just had, I mean my bone feels numb. Do you think I broke it?
  15. Or when the dead girl was shocked inside the lamp! I love that movie, I really couldnt believe how bloody it was
  16. I must admit, I am one of the biggest procrastinators here. I have had this Film project to do, it was due last Friday, I just CANT bring myself to finish it, it truelly is, the most miserable thing I have ever had to do
  17. What is the name of that movie in the little clip you just posted? It looks amazing. The cabin in the first second of the clip looks like Friday the 13th, is it?
  18. I love the ps2 system, but it really gives me problems. My first ps2 simply died out on me one day, it would turn on but never play any games, like it couldnt read them. I bought another used one, which started giving me problems right off the bat, and eventually the same thing happened to it about a month later.
  19. What's goin on with the Ghost Rider comics. I stopped collecting comics a few years ago because of my budget, but nobody ever seems to talk about the character, and someone told me that his line of comics was discontinued. Can someone give me an update?
  20. Im not too fond of any of these women, but I picked Bellucci
  21. You ever have those days when you think back and wonder "Oh yeah...What ever happened to him?" or you'll be talking with friends about the past, and someone will come up in the convo, and you'll think, "What did she ever do after that movie she made?", well im pretty bored and this sounds like a pretty fun topic. Theres quite a few people who I have wondered about, and I really want to know. What ever happened to: Steve from Blues Clues Mara Wilson from the movie "Matilda" Kell from the Nickelodeon show "All that" and "Keenan and Kell" Freddy Adu (Very young talented MLS soccer player) Diamond Dallas Paige (DDP from wrestling) Vader (Wrestling) Lex Luger (Wrestling) Dean Malenko (Wrestling) What the HELL happened to GOLDBERG (Wrestling)
