Lol pretty random, mod should move to sports section.

There comes a point in time where an owner must realize, it wasnt the managers fault. The players just SUCKED.
-
I enjoyed the MNF game, but honestly, ESPN talked about hurricane Katrina more than they talked about the football game. They talked about it so much I thought I was watching a news report.
-
Yea their offense is doing great, and I dont even know why. Grossman is looking amazing. And as for the defense? thats speaks for itself.
-
No wonder why everything at Tower Records is so expensive, because they are poor. Seriously, they have a great selection of music and DVD's, but they are way overpriced.

My reaction to every game that has just been played this past weekend:
Houston 24
Indianapolis 43
I expected this to occur. The colts being one of the best team's in the league and the Texan's being one of the worst, this score is pretty self explanatory.
New Orleans 34
Green Bay 27
This game was unpredictable, it was really a throw up between these two teams. Green Bay just couldnt produce enough points in the end to pull it out, but Brett Favre looked great.
Cleveland 17
Cincinnati 34
This game was highly predictable. As the Bengals are emerging into the great team they are, the Browns are still trying to figure themselves out. Palmer passed for over 300 yards while Rudi Johnson was shredding it up on the ground. The browns never had a chance, even with Cincinnatis poor defense.
Detroit 7
Chicago34
Two names: Brian Urlacher/Lance Briggs. The Lions didnt have a chance against this defense. Let alone any defense in the league. It seems as though the Lions will never win a game.
Oakland 6
Baltimore 28
Ok, Oakland is currently the worst team in the league. In fact, they just might be the worst team I have ever seen. Their offense is absolutely pathetic, and their defense isnt the greatest either. Warren Sapp's two sacks were a fluke, he didnt even have a solo tackle. Dont expect Oakland to be going anywhere for a while. Oh, and as for Baltimore, they are looking damn good.
Tampa Bay 3
Atlanta 14
The hype over Tampa Bay this past summer has been ecstatic, but their play hasnt been. Chris Simms loves to throw interceptions and their Cadillac seems broken. Atlanta is looking decent.
NY Giants 30
Philadelphia 24
This game was a fight to the end, with the Gaints coming out on top in a tremendous fashion. Both these teams were pretty equally matched, Philly just fell apart in the end. Not much else to say.
Carolina 13
Minnesota 16
What is the deal with Carolina?. Fans and analysts alike have chosen them to win the super bowl. Could we be seeing one of the biggest busts in recent years? Only time will tell.
Buffalo 16
Miami 6
Culpepper just cant seem to get it done early. His team has lost their first two games and they arent showing any good signs. Buffalo isnt the greatest either, which makes this Miami loss even more surprising.
Arizona 10
Seattle 21
The outcome of this game surprised me quite a bit. Arizona seems to have improved their team tremendously, but the results of this game show otherwise. Its still early, and nothing is set in stone. For Seattle, Shaun Alexander didnt look great, but at least he had a touchdown.
St. Louis 13
San Francisco 20
St. Louis seems to be in a time of confusion. I dont think anyone knows whats going on with that team. San Francisco seems to be showing some signs of life, Frank Gore is doing much better than Barlow ever did, so at least there's something for 49ers fans to be happy about.
Tenessee 7
San Diego 40
The biggest massacre of the week was well expected. Tenessee might be right up their with Oakland in running for the worst team, and Kerry Collins is about as useful as a bag of dirt. San Diego looks to be one of the best teams out of the gate, Rivers is passing like a pro and Tomlinson is doing his usual thing. I think the Chargers are showing early signs of Super Bowl potential.
New England 24
NY Jets 17
The outcome of this game was pretty predictable. The Jets looked promising after week one, but there was no way they were gonna keep up with the Patriots. End of story.
Kansas City 6
Denver 9
I think the injury to Trent green may have hurt the Chiefs a little, but not much considering the fact that Larry Johnson danced over people like it was Saturday Night Fever. However great his performance was, it made no difference in the end as the Broncos came out on top.
Washington 10
Dallas 27
Before the season started many people thought the Redskins would come out roaring. Well they certainly came out, but it definately wasnt roaring. Beaten two times in a row, and doing pretty much nothing on offense, they could be an early bust.
Pittsburgh 0
Jacksonville 9
They couldn't even muster up a point? Pittsburgh looked absolutely deflated in their Monday night performance. Roethlisberger looked dreadful against the Jaguar defense, and Parker might as well have sat on the bench. At least they can be happy about their defense. As for the Jaguars, that defensive performace was outstanding, it seems Jacksonville fans have something to be excited about.
And that about does it. I will be back for next weeks reactions.

When it comes to the biggest rivalry in sports, which side do you take?
I am really interested to see how the results will turn out.
The reason I didnt make another "No preference/Other" poll choice is because I dont want to know which teams you root for, I want to know specifically, no matter where you are from, which team you root for when the Yankees and Red Sox play each other.
Of course, being from NY. YANKEES!

I love the detail on the rippage in the face, great figure.

What's goin on with the Ghost Rider comics. I stopped collecting comics a few years ago because of my budget, but nobody ever seems to talk about the character, and someone told me that his line of comics was discontinued. Can someone give me an update?
-
That looks great, nice job. Im loving the head

Those figures look amazing! I want them so bad, especially the Friday the 13th one, Jason looks perfect. Gotta get this.

The clone trooper and commando look real nice, makes me want to pick one up right now, Especially the clone trooper, yummm

It looks like Herm Edwards will leave the Jets for KC.
Looks like its official.
I dont know whether to be saddened by this, or to be excited about it. Im a jet fan (second to cincy) cause i live in NY, but I never really hated or liked Herm Edwards, he was sort of just there for me. I think it was that I liked his attitude toward the game but not the plays he called on the field. However, Im happy for him and I only wish him the best of luck in KC.
Onto other matters, who will replace him?...I dont know.
-
I hate their coverage, I dont care about their struggles or any other interviews, I just wanna see some action.
-
Anyone got a link to these pics?
-
Wow, cool site, thanks for posting. Haha they even have a "Maximum Overdive" shirt, one of my favorite corny 80's movies
-
Hate him, just another one of those talentless people popularized by media. Whenever I hear his name all I can think of is that unbalievably corny Shaq song he made.

I havent been to ADC/TNI in a while and I always switch back to the old ADC skin that im used to. So i come here today and the classic ADC skin appears to be a little different. I dont remember the grayish background, i remember a black background, there also appears to be other minor changes. Am i seeing things or was the old skin slightly changed? I dont mind, I mean I would prefer how it was before, but just wondering really.

Palmer Out= Bengals done. Most....depressing.....day.....of my life.
-
I have been a hardcore bengals fan for 17 years. The bengals finally get into the playoffs, and what happens? Carson Palmer is hurt on his first throw of his first playoff game ever. I can safely say it was the most gut wrenching image that has ever crossed my face. There was nothing more painful than cheering at a 66 yard pass only to have my heart drop to my stomach in a matter of seconds. I really cant even begin to state my disgust, once Palmer went down the Bengals hopes to advance went down with him. I wish I had the words to explain my feelings right now, as the only word that comes to mind is "Devastated". I cannot say it was a cheapshot, the man who injured Palmer clearly did not mean to, it was a legal hit, but a devastating hit it was. I wish I had more ways to vent my anger, frustration, sadness etc... but this is all I can think to do.
I would like to thank Marvin Lewis, Carson Palmer, and the rest of the bengals for the great memories of this year. Bengals 06'!
BTW, Steeler fans I wouldnt call this a "win", I'd call it "You guys got the biggest break ever". We had no chance once he went out, and everyone knows it. No reason to be proud of your team.

Be funny if he took it and ran haha. My brother used to steal signs and stuff from taco bell and Mickey D's all the time.

The Yanks are ditching the house that Ruth built for a new stadium to be opened some time around 2009, costing 800$ million. It is rumored that the current stadium will be turned into some sort of museum. I grew up at Yankee stadium, it depresses me to see it go. I always thought one day when my kids were born I would take them down to Yankee stadium just like my dad has done to me the last 17 years of my life. It annoys me to know that my kids will never see a game there, but instead, will only see plaques and memorials of what once took place there. It angers me not only in an emotional way, but in an economical way too. Whenever me, my brother, and my dad go we always take this sort of secret back entrance where we can park right outside the stadium and not have to pay a dime for parking, it really is nice. Unfortunately, it will not be that way anymore when the new stadium opens, and im sure the prices for parking and tickets will be a nice hefty price. All I can do now is let myself know that I was lucky to have experienced the grandeur of Yankee stadium while it lasted.
My brother feels that all the magic of Yankee stadium is lost because the Red Sox won the world series, which in some way is true, but it does not hide the fact that the building has history. I will miss it.

I just bought Friday The 13th parts 3.4 and 5 at my local comic shop and I honestly really like them. Although I happen to like this comic, it certainly isnt for everyone. There isnt much of a story to it, its not very in depth, but its definately on the gory side with tons of great art work, which is what I was looking for.
