As much as I hate the Red Sox, they did indeed outplay the Rockies....bad. Pretty much the most boring World Series that I can remember. I didn't really have high expectations for it in the first place though.

This movie looks terrible.

So the other week I was dragged by my girlfriend to this anime convention in NJ called "AnimeNEXT". I have never once in my entire life ever considered going to a convention, but finally bit the big one and let her take me. Throughout the weekend I spent most of my time laughing at all the people dressed up in costume, doing their "Cosplay" thing that they do, but I also happened to be introduced to many forms of Japanese media, namely "Manga". After looking in the Dealer's room she said "Hey you should really read this manga called 'Deathnote', you will love it". At first I thought "Oh god no..." but later decided to give it a try. Now believe me when I say, I am not the "Convention" type of person. I am the full-blown, stereotypical sports watching, beer drinking kind of guy. So naturally, one would think "Oh c'mon, this guy reading a manga? Hah! That's hysterical!". Well after reading over 9 volumes, I can safely say... DEATHNOTE IS THE MOST AMAZINGLY ENTERTAINING PIECE OF WRITING I HAVE EVER SEEN. The art-work is fantastic, and the story is just...incredible. I was hooked within the first five minutes of reading it. I am appalled at the sheer awesomeness that is Deathnote. By the end of the convention, I had purchased nearly half the entire series. If I were to die today, I would choose to die with Deathnote in my cold and lifeless hands. Ok maybe that's exaggerating it a bit. But seriously, check it out. You won't be disappointed.

HAHAHAHAH Who cares?. Honestly, I couldn't give a crap as to what this, or any other banner says. This is a discussion board for talking about TOYS and other TOY-LIKE things. A banner is a banner, an ad is an ad. Either you pay attention to it, or you dont. Everyone has a choice.

I said "Not Sure". I didn't say "No" mainly because these two events are in fact, a sport, just like any other sport that ESPN shows on their channel. Other more popular sports should generally be shown the majority of the time.

So I heard about this anime called "Elfen Lied" and decided to check it out. There is only 13 episodes plus one bonus episode but I thought it would be worth the watch anyway. It was FANTASTIC. Before you read on, I must warn you. If you arent the type of person who is into gore, nudity, or any other twisted sort of things, than you probably shouldn't watch this. Anyway, Elfen Lied is basically about a group of people called "Diclonius" who wreak havoc upon humanity. The plot sounds simple, yes, but it actually unravels into a deep, passionate, and even somewhat moving story. I watched the entire series in two days, mainly due to the fact that I couldnt take my face away from my computer screen. For more information on the manga series you should type the title into any search engine and your sure to get results. As I said before, this anime is RIDICULOUSLY bloody, so be warned if you happen to stumble upon the series.

I went into the Lets Talk Movies & TV section before to see that "The Wire" has filled up the entire room with television news and what not. Obviously, up to date news isnt necessarily a bad thing, but I find it somewhat irritating when the ENTIRE board is filled up with such a thing. I know some people probably enjoy, and maybe even prefer having news constantly posted on the page, but I enjoyed having talk between members about our OWN topics, not some constant news flash pieces that covered the whole page. Ive noticed this occurring on many other boards as well, I just thought I would bring it up just in case anyone else felt the same way. Just my opinion on something, no harm done.

Lately I have gotten into reading "Fables", part of the Vertigo comic series. I had my doubt's about the series but eventually began to love it. If you haven't ever heard of these comics I suggest you go check them out. The Fables series generally focuses on fable characters (Snow White, Three little pigs, The Wolf, etc...) and put's them in real world situations in current day New York City. It may sound ridiculous to some, but it is actually an entirely fresh idea full of surprises. If your interested in seeing Fable characters gone wrong, than this is definately for you. The series has won a bunch of Eisner Awards.

I just bought Friday The 13th parts 3.4 and 5 at my local comic shop and I honestly really like them. Although I happen to like this comic, it certainly isnt for everyone. There isnt much of a story to it, its not very in depth, but its definately on the gory side with tons of great art work, which is what I was looking for.

That honestly is ridiculous.

So in searching for the sci-fi toys section I came to realize, that its gone? If I remember correctly, this was a fairly active topic.

Do not get a Razr, they are terrible, I own one. They look pretty cool, but they are not durable at all. The camera on my phone broke within a month, I didnt even do anything to it. Reception-bad. The only reason to get one is because of its stylish design, other than that, nope.
