  1. What's the deal on Snake-Eyes? i keep hearing suckage about how he's not going to wear a mask. Only sunglasses or something. Man, I hope they don't turn this into some Bourne Identity, stylish spy movie. it needs to be like the cartoon. Over the top characters, and storyline.
  2. Holy crap!!! Hasbro did the unthinkable! Lady Jaye without the stupid hat, and with cartoon colors!! This is so awesome.
  3. You know Falcon is just going to be a repaint of Flint. Besides the paint/color scheme, I bet they won't change a thing. I wonder if Nemesis will have an all new mold. I guess he'll probably have to.
  4. Holy crap, man... That's the best thing I've ever seen.
  5. Terrible idea on so many levels. Ripcord...I've got nothing against the guy, but who cares?! He wasn't a very important character on the cartoon or the comic. He isn't even remotely a leader-type character. I always remember him as the young, inexperianced guy. The guy they called if they needed a parachute expert or whatever. I can think of about half a billion better Joes they could have picked for the Leader spot. Why not Duke, Flint, Hawk, even Lt. Falcon would be better. Ahh well, we all knew this movie was going to get torn a new one by Hollywood. I'm expecting even more dumbass casting & plot ideas as it nears release.
  6. Man, I hope that's just a rumor. That sounds terrible.
  7. Awesome, I like the Mr. Echo casting. I'm not crazy about Heavy Duty. Basically a weak knock-off of Roadblock. They really need to re-think that one.
  8. Yeah, I agree. Not to mention the horrible casting of Marlon Wayans. An average sized guy like him trying to pull off Roadblock just sucks. Heavy Duty sucks in general. We need a big, bald, black guy for Roadblock. Anything less is gonna be a big let down.
  9. Looks good to me. I checked her out on imdb.com, and she's pretty tall. They're just gonna have to watch out for any shots of her and Snake Eyes standing side-by-side.
  10. Holy crud. That's the best thing I've ever seen. Okay, I just checked out the rest of your customs. One question: How come you're not doing this for a living?? Your versions of The X-Men & Batman were way better than anything I've seen from real toy companies. You freakin nailed that Batman.
  11. A cartoon-themed line is an awesome idea, that I really can't believe they haven't tackled yet. They give us 400 billion weird-looking varients of Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Cobra Commander. But when do we get a cartoon line? Probably never. Would be awesome though...
  12. Doctor Doom from the second series. Then after Gambit, I was sold.
  13. Thanks for the info. I'll be looking out for any potential Lady Jaye-ish heads from Star Wars figs.
  14. That looks really awesome. As a kid, that was my favorite version of Snake Eyes.
  15. You're right. It was Zartan, paid by Firefly to take out Snake Eyes.
  16. Alright. For starters, I've never customized a figure, and do not own any dremel tools. So, this is probably a pretty bad idea. Regardless, I really want to try to make a Cartoon acurate Lady Jaye. Does anyone know what heads will fit onto the 25th Lady Jaye body? I'd hate to buy some figure just for the head, only to find out that it won't work with my 25th Lady Jaye body. I really like the head from GI Jane & Bombstrike, but I know their heads won't work. Oh yeah, what type of paint should I use to re-color her shirt? Any suggestions would be cool. *edit* Another question. Is her hat easy to rip off?
  17. Re-Using Existing Molds IS a part of the GI Joe line and its what Hasbro has done from day one with the line and its kind of what comes with collecting the figures......plus its kind of a cool throwback in a way. I agree, but I only want to see it where they've done it before. Let's face it - they could have made enough money on a properly done Flint and SE V2, almost definitely two of the TOP FIVE figures/characters of the ENTIRE ORIGINAL LINE, to warrant new molds for them. As far as saving on parts, we've got all sorts of other variants they could do instead of characters like this, including almost everyone in the Original Thirteen. Exactly. It may not mean much to some, but Flint & Snake Eyes are two of my top favorites. These little details are pretty important to lots of collectors. Good call on v.2 Snake Eyes. That was another I forgot to mention. If any figure deserved an entirely new sculpt, it's that one. And while Firefly still looks cool, I keep thinking how much cooler he'd look if they had only given him an acurate chest sculpt. I doubt these minute changes would bankrupt a large company like Hasbro.
  18. Man, they sure are cranking these out fast. So cool. Only a matter of time before we get a Major Bludd, and Bazooka.
  19. There's only two things about this line I hate. 1. Re-tooling of existing molds is a cheap cop-out. I think that defeats the purpose of the 25th anniversary line. If they're going to go to the trouble of making such awesome figures with awesome detail, then EACH and EVERY one should be unique. 2. It's the 25 anniversary of the classic figures. Make them in their classic outfits!! Prime examples: Serpentor's sucky armor, Zartan's sucky outfit, Firefly's textured sweater.
  20. I never thought of Xamot & Tomax as that muscular in the arms, but who cares? I should be punched in the head for complaining. They look awesome!!
  21. Looks awesome. Now how easy would that have been for hasbro to do? Not too hard.
  22. Oh yeah! I'll definitely be buying the heck out of Xamot & Tomax. Looks awesome.
  23. That's awesome. i can't wait to see Spirit & TF Flint.
  24. I think his Height shouldn't be a problem. Besides, the only Joe characters I ever considered tall & big were Roadblock, Gung-Ho, Sgt. Slaughter, and Destro.
