  1. I went to walmart tonight and they had All Marvel Legends clearenced out...
  2. i haven't spied any of the new ones yet, will definently get the avengers box, but doubtful on the xmen one, since it would be better for me just to track down the nightcrawler/juggernaut 2 pack which looked better and skip out on another gambit and wovlerine repaint.
  3. yeah the obscure box sets won't go well at mass market. they should focus on the direct market like marvel select toys by diamond. also through their website, for the box sets containing the more obscure characters. the last few box sets that toybiz did just didn't have the mass market appeal. The spider-men, X-men, Fantastic Four and the Urban Legends sold well because most people can recognize the characters and will pick them up. how many non comic fans would know anything about the House of M box set, or the Young Avengers box set (which had their horrible first appearence costumes), and the Marvel Monsters box was just meh
  4. i'd love that box set, those have been some great characters through out the annhiliation books, can't wait to pick up Guardians next month.
  5. yeah, what gets me mad on there are the people who just blatantly overcharge for shipping costs. i was interested in bidding on a loose Marvel legend figure. He wanted 10.50 for it priority mail. it was a small figure, and he was within the united states. I sell items on ebay, I know how much it costs to ship most things. I messaged the guy asking if he would ship it in a flat rate envelope at least which would have cut the cost in half and gave me a rude response. he lost a customer.
  6. yeah, that is true. but not everyone is scamming when they send you one quickly. i use second chance offers when i have multiples of an item so i don't have to relist them multiple times.
  7. i got bored and had some extra parts. for some reason in the picture he looks like he has grey facial hair, but thats from the flash. made with the Tony Stark head and hair from a four pack including iron man (also in pack were classic wolverine, gamma hulk and silver surfer) and the body was from the Patch minimate.
  8. if he uses a different account on the same computer, ebay will bust him. first time will be a warning and requirement to go through a training course telling you why raising prices is wrong. then from there it can lead to suspensions of account or barring from ebay.
  9. I stopped by FYE today and they had a lot of their toys on clearence. I picked up a battlestar galactica cylon 5 pack and they had the Marvel Select Mephisto for only 9.98
  10. i forgot their ebay account name, but they have a website: http://www.shouldagotts.com/. they sell custom accessories and such
  11. my favorite Hulk figure would have to be the Hulk from the faceoff two pack.
  12. thats such a great figure. i got one at a comic con yesterday for 5 bucks.
  13. another small box set idea: Spider-man and His Amazing Friends! Spidey, Ice-man, Firestar and throw in a Ms. Lion!
  14. wow that's a beautiful custom
  15. I just got my chain in the mail the other day for my Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider
  16. the destroyer armor is something featured within the Thor comics. the figure was a variant of the Thor-Buster Ironman figure
  17. classic new mutants (any of the list: Danni Moonstar, Cannonball, Magma, Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Cypher, Karma, Warlock) New X-men (surge, hellion, pixie, anole, rockslide, mercury, dust) X-men first class (would prefer these costumes to the originals) Wrecking Crew Starjammers X-Factor Investigations (Maddrox, Rhane, Rictor, Monet, Siryn, Layla, Guido) Runaways Great Lake Avengers Thunderbolts (current line up: Penance, Swordsman, Radioactive Man, Songbird, Moonstone, Venom) a new Captain America themed box set (Winter Soldier, Sharron Carter, modern Falcon, new Black Widow, Modern Red Skull) Shield Agent box set with assorted agents Aim Soldier box set Hellfire Club (Sabastian Shaw, Donald Piece, ect w/hellfire soldier) Hydra Box (Viper w/ a bunch of soldiers) Young Avengers updated Nextwave (Photon, Machineman, Boom Boom, Elsa Bloodstone, The Captain) New Warriors (Night Thrasher, Speedball, Nova, Justice and Firestar) Heroes for Hire (Modern Luke Cage and Ironfist, Misty Knight and Colleen Wing)
  18. Johnny Blaze. better figure and better motorcycle. Ketch was my first experience with Ghost Rider as a kid, but Johnny Blaze is just so much cooler. the variant on the Johnny Blaze one was great too, never got a hold of that one.
  19. ireally want this.mockingbird was such a cool and short lived character.i hope the one that died was a skrull and the real one came out of the space ship. I too would love a Mockingbird and Hawkeye two pack. But I kinda doubt the Mockingbird in SI is the real deal. Most likely a skrull. Hulk and Caira would be awesome. But Jubilee and Longshot... that is downright laughable. If you did a two pack it could only be Dazzler and Longshot. Quoting one episode of a cartoon that was for the most part decent if not a bastardization of the comic does not make a couple. The only person I could see putting Jubilee with is a 90's Wolvie or if you are pushing it, Skin. How about Night Thrasher and Silhouette Rictor and Shatterstar X-man and Threnody Hellcat and Son of Satan (packaged as Damian Hellstorm since Son of Satan would not fly) Wild Child and Aurora Guardian and Vindicator New Cap and Modern Black Widow Nova and Namorita Mr. Immortal and Dinah Soar (closer getting a GLA figure set) Captain Britain and Megan forgot about nova Nova and Gamora
  20. yeah, i say go ahead. it can be just some prototype armor for him. 5 bucks for silver centurian? wow that's a steal, great find.
  21. Thats not possible and sorry you're incorrect this is where the suit was invented and was first show on the cover and spidey got it in the last two pages of this book from that alien machine that spit out a little black ball which became his costume and later venom. Now if you're talking about the first appearence of the suit in AMAZING Spider-Man issue 252 this book shown below that was after teh secret wars was over and it was the first appearence of the black suit in a SPIDER-MAN solo book what he means is that Amazing Spider-man 252 came out Before Secret Wars 8. There was a gap where it was left unexplained how he got his new costume

  23. nice find, always nice to go back to your youth. I was all happy when i found my old VHS of Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent my Summer Vaction a few days ago. now you just have to get issue 252 of Amazing to get the first 2 major appearances.
  24. i've had kids buy some at work, with their parents. last time i remember though was with the Ultimate Iron Man figure, they were asking for it specifically so i checked and had a fresh case brought from upstairs. a few others times i remember as well, a kid and his mom buying a Baron Zemo figure and the other time a kid and dad buying a Black Widow
  25. i really like the War Machine from the toybiz series (i got him loose for cheap, so only had the 2 hand blast effects the the one for the gatling gun, no missles) and the Modern Ironman from series 8. still on the lookout to nab a Hulkbuster and Silver Centurian from toybiz. the Mk 3 and War Machine from the movie line are nice too.
