  1. i don't have the pics anymore, but she was bigger than normal DCU figures, like all the figures in that line. I made the mistake of buying it, but found the JSA series one with removeable mask at kb toys outlet. the Justice League series one is nice too, based on Bene's art.
  2. it would be nice if this turns out to be true. only figure i wouldn't care for would be the C&C and forager.
  3. If you don't mind, I'll take the GL with no grundy piece off your hands (with appropriate price/costs, of course) since I want to get one for my friend who isn't interested in Grundy anyway. sorry, took it back to target this morning already.
  4. Yeah, i got mine today also. No variants (but got them both at target) and big hand robin. will be returning one of the green lanterns to target. Especially since he came factory sealed and missing the grundy piece. hooray quality control. I'm also on the search for the target hulk wave now.
  5. I just got my case from cornerstore comics also. the normal sinestro looked ok, but i didn't look that closely at him since I have the variant already from target and my friend bought sinestro from me. But i'm going to be taking one of the green lanterns back to target, especially since one of them came factory sealed and missing the Grundy piece!
  6. i went to target before work (since my toysrus computer doesn't show any in the warehouse, and none arrived there since may), i lucked out. saw the entire set, with sinestro and deathstroke variants. so i grabbed the 2 variants, since my case is coming in tomorrow from cornerstore comics
  7. i agree with newsarama, the only way this would be possible is if they loosely base the new one on dark knight returns, and have an old old selina kyle
  8. yeah, its removeable. its a tight squeez. it took me a while to get it off, ended up slipping a blade up the rear of the helmt a little bit so i could slide if off easier
  9. 1. Green Arrow 2. Huntress (original or current costume, not the open belly lee costume) 3. Joker 4. Black Adam 5. Mary Marvel 6. Stargirl 7. Starman 8. Raven 9. Catman 10. Oracle
  10. my case from amazingtoyz has shipped, yays!
  11. yeah, i would have liked that variant. I just put in an order with scifigenre to get the sets i still needed. -wonder woman/ares -aquaman/ocean master -guy gardner/ kilowog -salaak/sinestro now i only need a few loose figures to get. Yeah, wish more teams would have been completed. would have loved a beast boy/donna troy to round out the teen titans and a Black Canary and Huntress would have been great too.
  12. thanks for the heads up. I let my friend know, since he's looking for some of the Thugs. We lucked out and both found a Joker when they first came out at walmart before the scalpers hit it.
  13. Did they have any new stuff like the movie master 2 packs yet or anything new for that matter? no we haven't gotten anything new. to fill in the area a bit we've used other dc toys to make it look fuller. like DCUC, Justice League, ect. The movie figures, just the 5 inch figures.
  14. I dont' want to wait until february to get the new DCdirect Big Barda :-( oh well
  15. At toysrus the other day they set up the new Batman feature shop. a big chunk of it is a sign promoting a presale of the stealth launch batmobile with 5 dollar deposit. didnt' see anything of a date on it.
  16. These are 2 custom minimates I did of Oracle and Lady Blackhawk
  17. the final wave came out last week. i picked up the raven and cyborg.
  18. i'm going to have to play it by ear. I'm not sure if it opens world wide for its release, or staggered like some other films. I'll be away in Spain when it is released. But regardless I'm back on the 29th of July and have a free pass that expires on the 31st
  19. the answer is movie magic. like how Indy is threatening the Germans with an RPG, which was not invented yet.
  20. next week, starting the 18th Toysrus will be running a sale on their Indiana Jones figures. The ad states buy 2 get 1 on all 3 3/4 inch indiana jones figures. the sku number with it is for the singles, but should apply to the deluxe figures as well since they are in that scale. I know the first shipments got wiped out, but my store got restocked yesterday with a few more cases. So if you bought a bunch already, or pick up some before Sunday, save your receipts and bring them in while the ad is going on. I don't have a scan of the Ad, but saw it in person.
  21. i wasn't working the morning they came in at toyrus and forgot to give the manager a heads up to to grab a joker for me, so they got wiped out by a scalper for a local comic shop who bought all of the jokers. over the weekend checked the walmarts and targets in the area, nothing. target had no dark knight toys and walmart didn't have the 6 inch line. on a whim stopped by one of the same supercenters and found 2 jokers, i got one and my friend got the other. so now my 2 thugs have a leader and gave them some extra 6inch scale guns i had.
  22. I agree with you. There are much more characters they should do from the normal marvel universe before trying to mine the ultimate universe. I don't mind having an ultimate costume as a variant. AoA same thing to, even though I can understand having Ultimate figures instead of AoA designs since it is so far removed and just pretty lame. I felt the same way about the House of M box set. (AoA sunfire is ok, since that is his current look)
  23. I'd love an Oracle but i don't think the marketing guys at mattel would jump all over that
  24. yeah, the series 13 classic goblin is so much better
