Just buy the figures loose on ebay if you want one figure from the box set but not both. I always buy loose figures on ebay...especially if I don't care about the BAF part or other figure. And if you can be patient and wait a little while after they come out you can get a pretty sweet deal on loose figures if you keep searching.

dude meijer is what got me into collecting the icons! I found Thor & Doom there for $9 each! They also had Punisher on clearance but I couldn't bring myself to get him. Meijer is always having awesome deals! I got Human Torch at Anderson's for $8.75. I recently won a loose Beast & Silver Surfer for $12 on ebay.

No way would I want to start over either; I completely agree with you. I might buy some of the figures, but i definitely wouldn't open them & display them with my way sweeter legends! You want smaller figures? Get a bunch of superhero squad figure. They have vehicles & playsets. I don't play with my figures so I don't want something smaller than i can push around in a car or fly around in a jet. They have kids toys that do that. Enjoy what is already offered & what you are already looking for (smaller figures). GI JOE's & Star Wars figures have classicly been known for their 4 inch scale; not Marvel figures.

I don't want to either! I just found out that Myspace's Comics Page posts every story that Wizard does so I am just going to check there instead.

A couple weeks ago I saw a Star Wars Power of The Force Boba Fett hanging on the pegs at Wal-Mart with the rest of the Star Wars 30th Anniversary figures. It was from 1994 or around there I think. It had no price or anything on it & I took it to a price check scanner & it wasn't in the system. It was like someone just left it there. It was so weird. I wanted to take it or at least ask one of the employees about it but I didn't b/c I wasn't that interested in it. It was so odd though.

Venom is one of my favorite Marvel characters, no matter how little development he has had. I don't know about a movie with just him & no Spider-Man though. I would watch it but I don't think it would be that cool. I read a couple old Darkhawk books a little while ago (I think darkhawk 13 & 14, maybe 14 & 15) where he fought Venom. I forget why but they could do that! It would be gold! pfff, only kidding.

I don't know if this really fits into the action figure section but I go to Wizard's website to check out toyfare stuff a lot. Recently every single sime (literally) i go to their website a virus comes up on a main page or in one of the links on their site. My anti-virus stuff stops all of them but still it is very annoying an dangerous. I just wanted to know if any of you go there & if you have this problem. I seriously can't be the only one & they have to know about them & should do more to get rid of them. I want to go there & email them about it I just don't want another virus to pop up!

Dude the green Quicksilver & Gold Yellowjacket are awesome! They are very difficult to get here in the states! I just got both of them though as a few have been re released through comic book stores. Anyways I have a loose blue Quicksilver that I'm trying to sell if you are interested!

Yeah dude me too! I would check on ebay for them every once in a while but I was said I never want to pay that much. I knew one day I would find them & it was a fun day! The Dark Jean variant actually looks 10 times better than the regular version at least!

True, $14.99 is more than usual but it's just $5 more for a rare variant. It's way better than the $30-$50 you would pay on ebay including all the shipping charges!! I glad paid the $14.99 for my green Quicksilver!

yeah!!! I found all of them yesterday! $14.99! It was such a great feeling! I was like finally! After almost a year of searching I finally found them when I had given up on looking for them! It was awesome!

Where did you find them? If you don't want the Goldish version of Yellowjacket, pick him up for me and I can either reimburse you for him or maybe trade you something from my stash. Great find today! I went to the comic book store today & pick up the free secret invasion book, uncanny x-men & cable & I found all 3 Wave 2 variants for $14.99! They also had Thor but I already have him. I'm pretty sure they were the comic book store exclusive re-issues but they have the exact same packaging. Finally I found them after about a year later! I only got the green Quicksilver but if the other 2 are around tomorrow or Friday I might pick them up.

I went to toys r us today & saw that they have a buy 2 get one free deal on all Star Wars figures $10.99 & under! I got the Mace Windu, Obi-Wan & Darth Maul Mighty Muggs for $20! It was such a sweet deal! I might go back tomorrow & get C-3PO, Han & Luke (I really want Vader, Chewie & Boba Fett but they didn't have those anymore). I'm hoping they have this sale to clear the way for the new figures because they are so awesome!

I found X-23 (purple) at my comic book store unopened for $4.99. Not that great of a find but a sweet deal!

I found Electro from Amazing Spider-Man series 19 for $5.75 today at a Value City that's going out of business. Couple weeks ago I got series 3 Thor for $30, Series 3 Ghost Rider for $15, Deathlok (for the Galactus part) for $10. I would post pictures but you all know what they look like!

yes! I would love this & you know they will make it! whenever a new wolverine color scheme comes around you know you will see it b/c they always make him. plus that suit is so awesome. & an x-force box set would rule although i do agree that we need a regular warpath & wolfsbane.

I got mine on ebay about 4 months ago for $16 including shipping! So if you wait you will find a great deal.

I found series 3 Thor last week at a huge flea market called Trader's World for $30! My dad actually bought it for me which ruled b/c my parents have never bought one for me before & I wouldn't have payed $30 for it! The guy wanted $40 for him but my dad talked him down to $30. I think series 3 is waaay better than Giant Man series Thor! Sure GM Thor is in better scale but series 3's colors are much more vibrant & he looks so over powering! I have Giant Man Thor loose on display & he looks good there but as far as unopened goes series 3 is superior IMHO.

I've got a ToyBiz Spider-Man that is mispackaged in "The Beast" box that I am getting the sense is worth virtually nothing from other posts on the thread I started. Perhaps I could send it your way... hey i might be interested b/c i am just going to open all of my icons since i can't hang them up on my wall. what is your price? virutally nothing sounds pretty nice, haha!

Does it really matter? They all look like ugly versions of Cap. I have the Face Off one and I'm happy with that one. Ha I totally agree! The face off one is the best one hands down; it's perfect! The face on all for of those looks soooo stupid!

I never wanted to pay the $20 for them, but last week i found the regular human torch for $9 at the anderson's & today i found thor for $8.75 at meijer. I won dr. doom for $10.25 including shipping on ebay. I had the chance to buy iron man at a flea market on saturday for $15 but didn't want to spend anymore money. (I got series 3 ghost rider, deathlok & star wars 30th anniversary destroyer droid for $37 & my dad got series 3 thor for me for $30). So my plan is to wait a while on all of the icons & get them for super cheap eventually. I can get punisher for $9.75 at meijer too...I am gonna do that later this week! as far as the toybiz ones I will be patient & wait to find sweet deals on ebay.
