Site is down due to a fire. Full story at Cobra Island (front page news)
  2. Anybody notice that the RAM cycle looks to have a workable container on the side near the back?
  3. Great job Violentfix, you sure know how to tell a story. Love how you're setting things up for the next couple of chapters. I'm really looking forward to the next one.
  4. I'm not sure if these sites have them but they're good places to check. http://www.alyoshascorner.com/ http://www.goodtogocustoms.com/depot/ Also, you can try asking at the forums here: http://www.goodtogocustoms.com/forum/ I'm sure somebody there would know where you can get one.

    Random customs

Awesome...just awesome! Saw these on JoeCustoms but thought I'd post here for a change. Love the paint apps on the figs. I immediately recognized that playset right out of the game, and I haven't played in three years! That is a killer piece of work there, man I'm having flashbacks as I type, sheesh.
  6. I was just at a Target in Chicago and found all the BBI Elite Force on clearance. They only had figures left, but for $1.24 each I had to pick up some just for the accessories. The Forces of Valor Tanks by Unimax were still regularly priced at $17.99. They also had the Team Bravo figs, including the new WWII guys. I'm guessing that the Unimax brand (with the "only at Target sticker") is replacing BBI. If you're looking for BBI stuff you'd better hurry. I know some people are regretting not picking up those Apaches and Blackhawks now. I haven't seen any of those since X-mas.

    New Marauder gear?

Marauder John usually posts on JBL and the Hisstank forums. Here's some updates from the man himself: Series #5 There is a REALLY good chance Series #5 will get the green light and hopefully you'll all consider the items REALLY good! Looking to expand the "modular" type weapons and have more "modular" accessories that will work with the new weapons and also work with the original "modular" M4. ALL of the candidates came FROM suggestions & requests from you folks. Nice mix of modern, WWII, edged weapons & Sci-fi. A Series #5 won't be as large as Series #4 or Series #2. Want to have each series be slightly smaller number, so production time will be less and allow for more frequent releases throughout the year. Once the process gets a little further along, will post the list of items & accessories that made the final cut. Not everything wanted could be part of a new series, but smaller releases mean requested items that don't make this series have a good chance of being part of another sooner release. As always, thanks for the support! MJ http://joebattlelines.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2959 Hey! If everything stays on schedule, the target avail date for Series #5 is May of 2008 (which is an improvement over August like last year with Series #4). Hope to have final "reduced" prototypes in a few weeks. Will post pictures AND the full list of what is in the series at that time. Holding off on releasing the full list of items until ALL potential production problems are encountered & solved. Last thing I want is to get anyone excited about a particular item and then have some production issue screw everything up. So no need to deprive yourself of some of the new PTE accessories...plenty of time till Series #5. MJ Includes a FN-Scar http://joebattlelines.com/phpBB3/viewtopic...=a&start=30 Hhhhmmm....you may not need to wait until Series #6 for a Scar... MJ Includes a Muti-shot Grenade Launcher http://www.joesightings.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6671 Since you mention "mult-shot" grenade launchers.... Series #5 will have a version of the above multi shot grenade launcher. There are several different versions of that weapon (one with a folding stock, one with an M4 "type" stock, one with the rail system around barrel, one without rail system around the barrel, etc.). Had the one WITH the M4 "type" stock, WITH the rail system around the barrel AND had the "protective" grip covers added to unused rail system spaces on the top, bottom & sides of the barrel. Another difference is the scope on the Marauder version. The reference materials used all had a smaller scope, not the one with the larger & higer scope profile. Hope to post the entire list of the final Series #5 items soon. Just wanted to let you folks know about the grenade launcher....Happy Thanksgiving! MJ Also new dio accessories http://joebattlelines.com/phpBB3/viewtopic...?f=5&t=2959 Hey Folks! You asked for it...and here they are! Was able to get several "new to marauder" PTE accessories. Individual Sandbags, Coils of Barbwire, Fabric Tents, Tank Obstacles, Checkpoint Barriers, adjustable Web-Belts and more!Hope you get a chance to stop by and check them out. Also, don't forget to mention you're a Joeboard member with your order to get your FREE bonus item! Thanks for your support! 8. Great job Violentfix. Good to see some new stuff from you. I've been waiting for your next chapter of Brother's Keeper but this will hold me over....for now. Just kidding, I know it takes a lot of time to take care of a family so no need to rush. I admit that I don't read too many dios, but I've been hooked on all of your dios (must be the great stories, photos, and original characters). I guess I'm going to have to check out the other chapters of this one-shot now. Thanks for sharing and I'm looking foward to more Brother's Keeper.
  9. Decided to share my first custom. It's still a work in progress but mostly complete. It's based off the the Storm Shadow in his own series using only the 25th Anniversary Storm Shadow V2. Had to do a lot of sanding, sculpting, and painting for this one. I had green stuff from years ago when I painted wargame miniatures but never used it. I love the stuff now and used it on half of the figure. I first sanded the sleeves off his arms along with the detailing on his shirt. Then I sculpted his chest piece, gauntlets, belt, knee pads, leggings and shoes. I also sulpted his biceps, but I'm not really happy the way they turned out. Lastly, I painted him as close to the comic as I could. The sword and sheath were cut from his backpack and pegged to his back. I'm also constructing a pair of nunchucks that attach to his belt. I still have some touchup to do on the painting. Enjoy and I encourage some feedback.
