  1. He's f'n big. The new Ryu and Ken use the same body? Eff that. I don't want 'em to be so HUGE either. The paint is crap quality too. The application was nice, but it rubs off on other parts. I can't move his left leg neither. The joint is stuck. I still love this fig but I think it's just because it's Dan ;>> I think I'll #$#@# at Sota, but I'm not sure if I'll send it back or what....
  2. I liek grappler characters (except in Tekken) so....along with her over-the-top personality, I've always liked R. Mika. Bonus for bein' a Capcom chick She's still really weird to use though.....I even use Birdie more than I use R. Mika... Anyways, I just got my Toyfare exclusive Dan from Toywiz today and.....I love it....but I've got a couple problems with it. The interchangeable hands are made out of a plastic that's softer than what they've previously used and the holes are kinda small so I'm very afraid of breaking something. Some of the joints are totally stuck cuz of the f'n paint too. I can't move his left leg at all! Plus, the paint is cheaper too! Some of the paint from his ponytail has rubbed off on his back! But what REALLY bugs me is....the scale! Jesus, Dan is taller than Guile! Is the scale changing for the whole line?! I can't display this with me other figures I guess in that case, I can pick up Honda and Zangief without much bitching....
  3. Looks like old Doc to me, judging from the pics I've seen.
  4. @loll@ Apparently, Hasbro thinks the packs "sucked" and were pulled (due to "lagging sales") because they had the O-ring design, and now that the 25th line is doing well in the non-oring style, they're going to REDO the whole damn thing, starting from scratch, with the SAME characters, in the SAME color of outfits, only in the 25th style, and they think that's what'll make'em sell "better"? Maybe it's just the guy they have in charge of painting them? "WEEeeeeeeeee!!" Yeah I think the Hasbro people were smoking something when they came up with these. I think it was their lame attempt to make 'em look like their comic colors, like with the Star Wars comic packs.
  5. I hope we get a General Abernathy single, too. Bomber jacket and all.
  6. Well, that would've been easy: you make a 6'' Big Boa
  7. Hasbro restocked the G.I. Joe 5-pack on their site so....will THOSE be restocked in stores as well? I havn't seen any new singles since they sold out neither....
  8. Oh poop on me. They're not using the points system again, are they?
  9. None of the comic shops I go to sell 'em. I have to get mine from Hastings or online.
  10. I almost wish Hasbro had gone in this direction rather than what they did with Sigma 6.......
  11. It's financial problems and management changes that've been giving Sota alot of trouble....as for the Street Fighter line, I imagine unsold crap recolors might be the culprit there....I don't know of many individuals out in a hurry to get a recolored variant of Birdie...
  12. I find the "goody goody" arguement kinda weak, honestly....it was the 80's. alot of 80's cartoon leader characters were disgustingly goody goody. It was all campy good guys vs bad guys half hour commercials...some pretty AWESOME commercials, but still...
  13. I've been able to get some nice action stances and stuff with these stands, but plain ol' standing around shouldn't be that f'n hard. What a weird screw-up.
  14. It's tied into the TMNT line because Erik Larson helped bring back TMNT for awhile through the Image label and had alot of Dragon/TMNT crossovers.
  15. Y'know what I bet would help Sota a bit? How about some FUNKIN' ADVERTISING?! A page in Toyfare can go a long way, yeah?
  16. Y'know what would've been a not-so-bad idea? Why not do a G.I. Joe/Action Force sorta thing instead of a dumb Duke/Action Man buddy film? Kick some Cobra/Red Shadows/Nazi ass instead of "cool guy" or whatever....
  17. I'm more familiar with the cartoon than the comic so.....yeah...I've always been okay with Duke. I can see the controversy when it comes to the comic book fans though. That's.....gotta suck....
  18. I'm not big on the name but the concept makes sense considering how diverse the Joes already were to begin with.
  19. But they're already reprinting Harbingers....does that mean the rights for THAT are cleared up? I'm not quite sure how it all works....
  20. I love these things! I missed out on alot while collecting Marvel Legends and whatnot though.....still, I'm always eager to add more to my collection. I'm still awaiting my Dan figure before I get anything else from this line.....
  21. #$@#, I'd settle for just a Quantum and Woody (with G.O.A.T.) pack
  22. I hear you gotta use a bit of elbow grease for that one. The general suggestion is to take care of that before you put the legs on the lower torso. I've found myself a Savage Dragon, Dredd, Ripclaw, and Death figure so far. Ripclaw is pretty "meh" (got it for the Pitt part) but I just LOVE the rest! These are beautiful figures and with great articulation to go with 'em? I couldn't ask for more....except for, like, Wal-Mart to get more of these....f'n scalpers....
  23. The Gold Key characters are being handled by Dark Horse right now though...which actually doesn't matter so I don't know why I pointed that out....
  24. Valiant is releasing new collections of their stuff! Sure would be nice if Marvel Toys got in on that action *nudge wink*
