  1. articulation wise, sinister six. sculpt wise, fearsome foes/mcfarlane. paint wise, urban legends (they couldnt do the 'web wash')
  2. how? and if you say cuase they bigger then you never got the last 3 series. True, the last three were smaller but they seem more appropriate as BAF's. Ronan, Annihilus could might as well be packaged as an ML itself. Same with blob...its as big as Juggernaut. blob was too round, just look at how they packaged him with wolverine. besides that, your right.
  3. i heard they got rid of the poo brown at retail because they didnt want it to compete with the SDCC version. so they didnt want to compete with themselves? odd...
  4. my guess is joker is one of those three, so we will finally have a good articulated 6 inch joker. now about ledger's face...
  5. they didnt really spoiler us, they just ran out of 'big' characters to make. unless they made a different sentinel. other than that, the only real 'big' character they can do is an in-scale galactus, which would be roughly 30 inches. yeah. the ones you listed, thanos, would more than likely be not popular enough to make it worth it. however, sandman, who is popular needs to be about twice as big (both versions).
  6. actually, your point about realism from wave 6 onwards is fairly good. and it led me to realize that toybiz's figures look exactly like the hasbro ones do before around wave 5 or 6. ill bet anyone on this forum that by this time next year, all these piddly little complaints stop.
  7. i think the new doc ock is proof they are gearing more towards collectors. it's still got all the articulation of the first version, but no action feature. edit: after going back and actually reading the posts , i have to say this: WHO THE FRICK CARES, THEIR FRICKING TOYS FOR GODSAKE! lets be glad for all the improvements made with toys in the past 10 or so years. would you rather have your shelves empty without all your favorite characters, or would you have the face look a little bit better. want a wash? paint it yourself!
  8. spidey mary jane black spidey aunt may gwen stacy and norman osbourne-hehe
  9. are these the 8" or 6"? if 6, then damn! they did a fantastic job on spidey, if not #tank# . i had to once i saw it...
  10. Actually, Venom is sharing some brotherly love. as in he's about to kick his ass like his brother (if he had one) would?
  11. spider-man doesnt like getting yelled at.

    MS to ML

id have to agree on black cat and ultimate thor.
  13. okay, i take back what i said about harry's mask.
  14. thats my point. im a huge fan of the movie, and anyone who says they shouldnt be on the shelves can just go buy something else. at the other forums i post at, i've never set foot in a transformers topic. why? i dont like them. but just because i dont, that doesnt mean i get to say "oh these are teh suxx" or "dont buy these, they look like #$@#". yeah, MJ looks like someone who needs to see a beach, but does that make the others look any worse? no, it doesnt.
  15. yes, pics, please! i think harry has a removable faceplate.
  16. honestly, if you dont like them, why in the hell did you buy them? the last MJ we got was for the first film, and she didnt even have elbows. numbers 2,7, and 8 are bullshit. no one (sane) cares about the packaging, you shouldnt smell your toys, or even taste them. if you were trying to make those two a joke, then you are admitting you can't come up with ten good reasons they suck. new goblin has nothing to do with hasbro, raimi wrote him that way. number 10 is BS too. if you havent noticed, the X3 figures are smaller than the rest of the line, too. movie figures are smaller! and ya, we got all of these were released a few months ago, but they were for kids.
  17. me thinks hasbro will list them on their site in a few weeks. same thing happened with F4.
  18. spidey and gwen black spidey and MJ iron spidey and aunt may (not sexually, but as a two pack)
  19. What he said. This entire wave is repaints! Both Spideys, Green Goblin, Doc Ock are all straight re-releases. I'm sure Sandman and Venom are just slight rejiggerings of their ML figures. Here's the way I look at it. Yes, it's kind of a waste for collectors, because most of these have been released already (but don't forget, KIDS buy these things, too, and they may not have figures dating back 3 or 5 years.) More importantly, if you think about it, this is a nice little bonus. Hasbro didn't HAVE to release a random series of 6-inch Spider-Man figures separate from the regular Marvel Legends. They could've dragged this out by sticking in 2 movie characters in each subsequent ML series, a la the X3 figures. Or they could've made these a regular ML series and held off on all the other figures for several more months. But instead, we get these and the MLs all at once. It's not like this will have to be our ML fix for the next several months. What's wrong with that? There's no real drawbacks and it doesn't mess up the other ML releases. I doubt they could've pulled that off had all the sculpts been new or revised. I certainly take the sculpting/painting/knee/elbow issues seriously, but aside from that, Hasbro really should be commended for giving us a lot of product. amen, brother.
  20. What he said. This entire wave is repaints! Both Spideys, Green Goblin, Doc Ock are all straight re-releases. I'm sure Sandman and Venom are just slight rejiggerings of their ML figures. actually, black spidey is an all new sculpt. they couldnt do venom as a repaint, theyd have to do much more work. sandman is a different story, all theyd have to do is take his SMC figure and make him short sleeved.
