what are the characters you want redone the most? for me its: magneto toad yellow/blue wolverine (figure was made too realistic for the comic book styled line) movie daredevil red skull (nazi version, not face off) elektra (mainly her hips) galactus (he was half his real size) namor (both versions, first one needs a torso joint, second one self explanetory) cyclops (he uses namor's body) scarlet witch green goblin (needs to be bigger) emma frost banshee planet hulk
-
get me the figures and i'll get you reviews.
-
they dont even need that. they can just have something that grips around their waist/torso. another thing id change is the ball jointed hips. stop putting the peg in at an angle and go back to horizontal.

okay, since this forum is a breeding gorund for bitching about the way ML's are, i decided to see what people would do. rules: 1. must only apply to sculpt, pait, articulation, and accessories. those are what toys are basically broken down to. 2. no "give it back to toybiz" that's not happening. 3. must actually be valid points. no "hasbro is teh suxxx". for me i'd say: take the knee joints from the F4 and spider-man three lines (5"). they are faily well hidden, and have almost as much range as the current double joints. make the skin tones gloss-less. human skin isnt shiny when dry. no sex jokes on that last one. mold more pieces in colored plastic. yeah, this is the main source of controversy behind POA, and the truth is, toybiz molded stuff in colored plastic. everyone does. give us back bases and stop the BAF. yeah, giant man and galactus were great and sentinel kick ass, but they are running out of "big" characters to put in. it would be much easier to include bases. so what would you change?

what would you like the next themed marvel legends wave to be?

they also need to redo magneto. -

im all for an x-themed wave, and as for spidey, the could put all those in a classics assortment after the movie line's done (december). good ideas, though. -
me too. lets say they changed the scale to 7". they would have to waste all that money making all the characters that already have figures when they could just as easily (if not easier) continue making more characters, and not worry about those that have already been made.

Is it just me or are the ML sculpts looking more kiddish?
TomTom replied to DesiSpider's topic in Marvel
are you freaking joking? How the heck do you think that Hasbro has achieved the same effect with their crappy plain plastic that Toybiz did with their realistic paint detail? ts fine if you prefer the cheesy shine of Hasbro's plastic over Toybiz's intricate paint..... but don't try to tell me that Hasbro achieved any kind of "desired" effect by using "molded" plastic. wow, that sentence was so biased, my english teacher would automatically give you an F -
i tink the cloth's folds are more realistic, and the POA is the same as toybiz's

i too would love to see the BAF go away, and replaced by display bases. even if they were the flying stands (which need to be about three times longer so they are actually flying, not just hovering). -
gotta question, TomE. do you think the rubber in the arms is going to crack away, like mattel animated clayface?
-
i know what you mean. my wal*mart only got one case of HML2 due to the space taken by SM3 (not legends). they still have herc, emma and banshee as well.
-
dude, that one w/ kingpin was hilarious!
-
they are more than likely always be bats/supes in their. retailers only want a line if "big" characters are in it. just look at ML with all the iron men and wolverines.

PIC of a custom Silver Savage aka Silver Surfer (WWHulk) on Hasbro site
TomTom replied to Mcomiclover's topic in Marvel
my guess is it's the WM one. looking at the others, the silver age moments one is kinda creepy, given x's feelings for jean (though it lasted only one issue) -
oh yeah, i forgot him. my bad...

the it would be a closed trigger finger. -
easy: the third wasp, second psylocke, second power man, doombot, goliath, and the variant F4 set (not heroes reborn, that was a store exclusive).

they features in the accesory. i have that spidey, and his ankle snapped off. iwas found a replacement pin, but i shouldnt have had to. if you really want only one spidey, go for mcfarlane/fearsome foes.

and even then, they had help. clam34, stop making excuses. half the reson you guys bash the bro is cause you aren't ready for change. -
it was. but look at the abomination/spidey pic. the webbing isnt black all the way around. by having to paint them all the way around, they couldnt do their cheap web wash where it fades in and out. other than that, id recommend the mcfarlane spidey.
