  1. Yep, the Commandos have not appeared in any other season thus far. Or in this season as of yet. The Arcs and now the Commandos will both make appearances this season.
  2. Found this on Starwars.com yesterday. They are doing a big screen limited release in certain cities on the episode which will have Savage Opress, Darth Maul's brother. I went ahead and RSVP'd because the theater doing it in my neck of the woods isn't too far away.
  3. Yup, Shazam/Superman is 24 min. Then it has 12 minute shorts of Spectre, Green Arrow, and Jonah Hex. In the specials menu there is also an area where Bruce Timm picks an episode of B:TAS with Hex, B:BATB with Spectre, and Justice League Unlimited with Green Arrow and Captain Marvel. Those were fun to watch as well. And it was in stores on Tues. I just rented it.
  4. It seems for Sideshow that the Cobra Trooper has become the GI Joe equivalent of the Clone Trooper for Star Wars. 101 different flavors. Guess we'll get forest cameo with Recondo and arctic cameo with Snowjob....
  5. Watched this tonight and I enjoyed it. I didn't, however, realize this was a short. And would be a compilation of all of the other shorts. The 24 min run time was really disappointing. Fortunately, I hadn't seen any of the other shorts aside from Jonah Hex so I had plenty to watch.
  6. I agree on Spectacular Spider-Man. That was a great show and a very good first season. I was sad to see it not return. But with Batman: Brave and the Bold hitting it's third season, it gives me hope for Avengers. Plus the House of Mouse is backing this cartoon - which runs right along with it's movie cash cow. I don't think we'll see the end of it any time soon.
  7. Bounty Hunters. Mandalorians. Cyborg Generals. Evil Sith Lords. All are more popular than the lackluster cast that has been leading the show for the last month or so. It's amusing to see the show being driven by characters that wouldn't sell in plastic form - because they are boring. C'mon, LucasArts. Take a page from the Hasbro play book. If it wouldn't make a good action figure and fly off the shelves, it will probably bore viewers as well.
  8. I actually just saw my first Skrull on the pegs yesterday at a local Wal-Mart. So, yes, they are still getting to stores.
  9. Meh. They are a cool and, mostly, untouched part of the mythos in this era of Star Wars. Plus, they look a helluva lot cooler than politicians, duchesses, and obnoxious Togruta Jedi. Point being: we want to see some action.
  10. What I found odd was that from the preview of next week's episode they are doing the big prison break off panel. I figured that would be a much bigger ordeal. And there has been very little with Anakin, Obi-Wan, Cody, or Rex this season aside from the season opener. Still wondering why they flashed the Arcs in front of us and then haven't brought them up again. A lot of potential. Deatwatch could have been revisited. A Jail break. Or. Well. Anything besides politicians.
  11. It's sold out here, but at Mygofer.com you can do a store pick-up if you have a K-Mart close. And use GOFERIT as the promo code and get an additional 20% off. I got mine for $42.39 after tax.
  12. I've sent off twice now with the first check cashing on Sept 21st and the second on October 12th. I'm still about a week out from even hitting the 6 weeks mark on my first order.
  13. I just, in general, hope something is being built up to and an action pack storyline does, in fact, go down. Aside from the two-parter season opener, this has been a very hum-drum slow season. Not much of Obi-Wan or Anakin has been seen - much less Rex or Cody. And I'm curious to the nature of adding in the Arc troopers and, seemingly, making a big deal about their introduction. They were showcased in the first two episodes, but most of them were killed off by the end of the season opener and nothing has been mentioned since. Either way - too much emphasis on senators and padawans.
  14. Found all of Wave 15 except Raven. They only had variant modern day Starman and only regular MM. And around 8 SC Batman. So - quite a few cases were opened.
  15. Tonight they played the first 7 episodes back-to-back-to-back and I was able to record and watch them (not quite through the seven yet.) Really good stuff - I might add. And a lot of nice villain cameos and other characters so far. Fury is much more 616 than he is Ultimate universe from the movies. And seeing Hydra, Strucker, Grim Reaper, Red Skull, Loki, Wrecking Crew, Crusher Creel, Kang, etc... was fun. Seems to be a great cartoon thus far. I wonder how many Avengers will make appearances...
  16. It's not the ending it's the journey (or the journey as envisioned by the writer and director.) Most of the movies in this genre are basically predictable, but it's not knowing what stays the same - but how they switch things up. But, you also may not enjoy this era of the story. Which is also a good reason for skipping this movie. I'm a big Cap fan and also a fan of this era. It's a win origin story for me. (Unlike in a few years when we'll have to watch a certain nerdy teenager be bit by a radioactive spider AGAIN. Yeesh. That's a boring story.)
  17. In the grand scheme of things - aren't all of the awards kind of meaningless and merely narcissism boosters? Yes, the Spike awards aren't as prestigious, but no award really has any affect on anything.
  18. I believe that is 25th Ann Roadblock's .50 Caliber Browning.
  19. I just received my SDCC exclusive Sideshow Phase I Clone Lieutenant in the mail yesterday. These 1:6 scaled figures are amazing. And damned expensive comparatively.
  20. From the pictures I would speculate that all the new movie lines will be in the 3-3/4th scale that fit in with the rest of the Marvel U and Iron Man 2 toys. And the Frost Giant, Sentinel, and Goliath will be the next 12" - 19" giant sized figures in the line. The only 1/12th scale figures we've seen are the Marvel Legends 2 packs about to come out and the Wal-Mart exclusive Iron Man 2 figures.
  21. Yeah, I was hoping too. I was going to fish out all of my vintage receipts and get back some cash - if that were the case.
  22. Never honestly ever thought of her in a carnal way what-so-ever. Just does nothing for me. And, to continue on with the conversation, my picture is listed on my profile and I think that I am an attractive 30 year old male. I'm not just thumbing my nose from behind the curtain of the interwebz.
  23. I assume the rationale for one a year is to alleviate options. If they were bi-annual or quarterly someone may skip The Phantom Menace or another movie less desired to watch because "Episode X" is only a few months away. But make them a year apart and it may bring more people to the lesser enjoyed of the franchise. And it's not like they are new movies we are waiting on pins and needles to see. You can always pop the others in the ol' DVD player. I think it's an awesome idea. I'll be glad to take my son to see the entire saga on the big screen.
  24. The actual in-store sales tags are for Clone Wars and Saga Legends figures. The Vintage Collection is not included.
  25. Er... oh. Well. That's a brand new pack that is currently sought after quite highly. Wish I could find it on clearance. I was even at K-Mart today. All I saw was a ton of 2008 Legacy warmers and a legion of Jodo Kasts..
