Not to jump on the Hasbro hate machine, but I only bought Iron Man in Wave 1 (I do so love the Ultimates) and unfortunately haven't seen hide nor hair of the Wave 2. I was extremely let down by the horrendous face of Banshee and I waited for YEARS for a Hercules figure and then get one that looks like he tried a spray on tan and it went horribly wrong. So.. much... orange. Although, even when I do (if) I see Wave 2 it'll probably be only Shulkie and Xorn and then I'll have to see.
My biggest issue (aside from odd face sculpts and some bad coloring) is the lineups. But, in that case I didn't collect anything from Onslaught series till the end except for Moon Knight. I wanted a Luke Cage and Baron Zemo, but not those interpretations, but I know thats a personal thing.
As far as wave 3. I don't want another Cyclops or Cap - but I'm sure many do. I have no idea who Danger (?) is and although the Bucky is neat, not a figure I've been scrambling for. And I wish either they'd stop dropping movie (X3) figures in the line all together or at least throw in some from other movies. I know most of the movies did get a separate line, but I still want a movie ML Ghost Rider and Black Suit Spider-Man in the right size. The Hydra figure is awesome and probably aside from Black Knight will be the only one I would remotely consider picking up.
I don't have a particular complaint, and maybe I liked the earlier ToyBiz waves because it was new and fresh and just burned out on the idea in general. But I got my Deadpool, Moon Knight, and Bullseye. And if I can get a modern Taskmaster some day I can color myself content.

With Celebration IV finished and we pretty much know the entire year's lineup not a whole lot to say until Wave 4 drops. Or at least until we get Whitewolf's Wave 3 reviews.

Checked 4 Wal-Marts and found 2 Wave 3 Vaders. Argh! Checked 1 Target and found two Stormie's, a concept Chewie, and an AOTC Clone Trooper.

Kamen, not sure what part of Atlanta you are in, but I've found Vos at varying Wal-Marts and Targets in the Kenessaw and Alpharetta areas. Try around there. Also in further north in Canton and Ellijay.
I'm in downtown/Midtown Atlanta. I'll be out in the Snellville area tomorrow. I'll look then. Thanks!
I finally saw some airborne and galactic marines again at TRU off cobb pkwy and up in kennesaw....I keep missing the mcquarrie figs but don't forget to check either of the super walmart's up on cobb pkwy...yes even the old ghetto one that is less than two miles from the nicer new one heh. or the kmart by the chicken jk i've never found anything at that kmart.
Not to mention a Super Target a ways down the road too.

Is that the joecon that was in marietta?
No, completely different. The Joe con in Marietta was small potatoes (although really cool) compared to this Joe con. The con they are speaking of is the main event that travels to different cities every year and just so happens to come to Atlanta this year (25th anniversary to boot).

From the 10-min clip it looks absolutely hilarious. I can't wait to see it in it's entirety.

I got Luke (bespin) and IG-88 today, IG - 88 is AWESOME, extra weapons, removeable sword hand and full articulation, realyl sweet, Also Luke is fully articulated and awesome too
Yeah, I got IG-88, Luke, and Bossk. All amazing figures.
-
I've found two currently and both at the same Wal-Mart. Every where else I've found Wave 1 (or Wave 2 for that matter) all figures are accounted for except the concept Stormie and Boba.

Just found VOTC IG-88, Bossk, and Luke in my area.

I would hope that in a community of collectors no one (aside from those hell-bent on selling them for the top dollar to a true collector unable to attend) would be upset that more people would be allowed to obtain these toys. Exclusive, chase, variant, etc.. are all nice ways of saying 'e-bay me please'. If there is that much merchandise left over sell it. And if the exclusivity (i had no idea that was a word till spell check picked up on it ) if a 'factor' change the packaging slightly so they can be distinguished.
And the fact that this was even brought up is mind-boggling to say the least.

Very well done impressive with no ties to Lucas films at all. Just curious about how this would actually pan out. Have a 2-3 episode arc and characters central to that story and then different set characters and period of time with another 2-3 episode arc?
-
Well, as much as I'm curious about the era between episode 3 and 4 I do love the Clone wars period and love any media featuring this period and anything allowing more toys. And it looks amazing. I just hope its a standard network that picks it up.

That is an absolutely amazing figure. Awesome job.

Very nice figure and I'll be happy to pick this one up so I can be closer to completing my SA bounty hunter scene. Nice review.

The Assassin Droid that comes in the EU comic 2-pack with Anakin.

Man, if you have NEVER collected Star Wars before, you could start this year and have all of your bases covered. With everything that has come out in 07, you could have a respectable collection with that alone. At-Ats, Starfighters, figures covering both trilogies, it's a good year.
You are so so right on this one. I haven't bought a new Star Wars piece since probably AOTC and the Saga line that erupted afterwars, but this year has it all. I can build a grand army of the republic without having to go e-bay.
Oh, and a side note. I found this picture extremely funny:
30 years. 1997-2007...?

Saga went too fast last year, but is getting many encores this year. I've seen Wave 2 (minus Concept Boba), the new comic packs, and V-Wing/Infiltrator. Thats about it thus far. I did find the new VOTC, but all they had were two Leias... so I had to pass. I hope it gets cranked up more, but either stores or slammed full of Saga again (although I have found a few choice goodies like a black clone pilot) or bare except for a TAC Obi/R2/Luke/Han.

Wow. I didn't even realize it's in Atlanta. And thats my neck of the woods. I feel like a failure. I'll be there for damn sure.
-
Again awesome figure, and cool as hell imagery. You make it come alive.
-
Very professional. And I'm just as impressed by the image as I am the figure. @bounce@
-
I would at least start it lower and if nothing else set a reserve. Thats a ton of figures and comics, but no way in hell anyone is going to drop a starting bid of 2k. Plus that jacks up the listing price. I keep mine in the $5-$15 starting.
-
Both very nice. I was a big fan of the Capt when I was younger, but he still needs a helmet to fully complete the look. The Lady Jaye looks real nice.
-
Don't have any idea who Mangler is either, but he looks like a classic Joe. And the Copperhead is amazing. Nice usage of green color, but without making it that bright green/blue on the original toy.

Yes, at one point Doom did build a device to harness the power cosmic and wield it. And if nothing else, this series 2 Doom has the classic comic feel to it.
