  1. I really like that SE XHairs. Nice job.
  2. Good stuff. Was this seriosously a character in development?
  3. Thanks Gentleman! I appreciate it. I tried to keep my review as honest as possible and I like these figures, thus it probably translated into how I shot them. More to come on future waves from me at JBL.
  4. It's to the point where no Marvel story can ever be taken seriously. Be it clones, skrulls, alternate universes, dream sequences whatever..there's always some BS form of an explantion for any story with a drastic ending.
  5. I wonder how much cheaper it really is. I have yet to dissect a new figure but I will.
  6. Cool! Now I can have hopes of finding them this weekend at some point. Thanks for the info Paul..hope all is well!
  7. Hasbro can keep the orings..I love these sculpts and hope they keep coming. V1 Storm Shadow is my fav 3 3/4" figure that I own.
  8. MJ looks like Janis Joplin.
  9. I tried in mine:( I love these figures and am somehwat bummed that they aren't getting the huge reponse I thought they would.
  10. actually, it would probably be tomorrow. I'm amped as well!
  11. Where? I dont see them there.
  12. Gung Ho was a problem for me with knee and arms. This isma new line and hopefully the bugs can be fixed, unlike the Showdown fiasco.
  13. Galvatron...finally! It has been a loong time coming.
  14. I've had my own site before but with some series personal tragedies about a few years back and all the negativity and complaining running rampant at that time, I decided to pack it in and enjoy the webworld as a common fan and maybe contribute from time to time. I've lurked here for a year or so and finally got back in with the new 25th Joes. At least I can exchange intelligent, mature discussion with a lot of the guys in that forum. Most forums nowadays are troll fests filled with "this sux, that sux etc." I am very very happy at how this site is disciplined and I think some of the more mature members help police the content without the need for admins to engage which is amazing.
  15. Wow..good stuff bro..nice work.
  16. Great post Mongoose and thanks for the comps. Viper Hunter: to answer your question, these are not the same feel as Marvel Showdowns..I had the very same concerns. When I reviewed the MS for ROC back in the day, every single on fell aprt in my hands while shooting. They were so flimsy that the heat from my lighting set up would cause them to warp and fall after 30 seconds. It was hell to shoot. These are firmer and more durable IMHO...more like Microman.
  17. I have to say I think it's Azrael. If you count it, Zipline Batman is fantastic as well.
  18. Steel927

    Iron Man HOT!

I was really loving IM until his role in Civil War. Now, he is just another wasted hero/villian mix to me. AND we're forced to tread water with dull Captain America filler stpories till he comes back in a year or so.
  19. Wow! I like these. I hope they look that good in person.
  20. I agree with pretty much everything he said. Cobra Commander can use his helmet as a punch bowl at the rate it comes off. SS & SE are the cream of the sets thus far...both are the best versions to date IMHO. My biggest complaint is the hands not holding weapons. I can live with any other detail.
  21. Oh, I've been around the toy site world for years and actually know many of you from here and other sites. In fact, of those I remember and recognize, I am seeing the reaction I thought I would for the most part. (This includes both positive and negative) My question: would it have been better for Hasbro to have just left it all alone back in the early 90's and left a "good thing go out on top"? This not my feeling ir opinion...I am just curious about what others think. Is it better to see it redone now? or Should it have been left as is back in the 90's?
  22. I have never...EVER..seen a more critical group of collectors than thise of GI Joe. In my humble opinion, it seems that no matter what Hasbro can do, if it isn't done the same exact way it was back in '82 than it just isn't right. I don't mean to flame..I am not trying to troll. It just amazes me how picky and exact a majority of Joe collectors are. I can understand disdain for Sigma 6..it was a different universe altogether and nothing close to the classic 3 3/4". But the 25th? I would have thought that this was would be like the second toy coming.
  23. One other point..look at how SS is packaged in the box..couldn't do that with the original...it would have broke the crotch and oring. Just trying to show the green grass on each side..
  24. Hahaha.. ok but in trhe second pic, she looks like she could actually *TAKE* Snake Eyes..thats a thick girl!
  25. The fact you do that with your boys is pretty freaking cool Doc. Now you have to excuse me as it's time go play Polly Pockets with my daughters. I beam with jealousy!
