    Gwen Stacy

Personally i am tired of the rehashes of spiderman characters. Even the statues are getting repetitive!! I was tyring to look out for a Gwen Stacy statue and was surpised to find that only one statue of her has been made so far. Being a main protagonist in the story line she has not received much attention. Some B-grade villains probably have more stuff on them. I can understand an Aunt May or Ben Parker statue not being made but Gwen Stacy?? Anyone out there know if there are upcoming statues of hers?
  2. If they follow this schedule they are going to have distribution issues because of which they had problems in the first place!!! Oh the irony!
  3. There are plenty of rare figures out there that most of us would want. As an example, a figure that i am still after is Deadpool. But with the high ebay prices, I don't know if i will ever snag one. Yet i keep hope and check out ebay and other sites frequently for those Toybiz figures that i want with the assumption that it will not be made again. I was just wondering how many of you are still after some figures beacuse you feel that Hasbro would never make them. OR Have any of you given up with the thought that eventually the figure will be made (as the marvel universe is finite)
  4. Quite boring seeing them all like that. Looks like a library!! But i guess to each their own.

    My Secret Shame

Its good to see issues on 'the other side' of collecting. I am not an avid collector. I mostly buy stuff that i have an association with. Cartoons and comic characters that i watched as a kid. So i pretty much keep within limits of a responsible collector. But my problem is that my family/wife doesnt understand this kind of a hobby. A grown man spending money on toys!! With this kind of thinking it doesnt matter even if i just spent $10, they just cannot justify the expense. I kind of managed to get most of the stuff that i want to. But every now and then if i want to buy something, it
  6. Since you included BAFs I just cant think of giving away the Sentinel figure. If no BAFs then i would keep the Yellow Daredevil. I have a soft corener for that one.
  7. Deathlok, GiantMan Thor and Longshot......i have to keep them at the back of the shelf so that they something to fall back on!
  8. Before the BAFs most ML figures came with a base/accessories and most other lines still have them. I have a single display case for my collection and it looks quite odd (and takes up space) if i pose each figure with its base. Plus some figures have more than one weapon and ofcourse you cant make them hold all. So what do you guys do with the bases/accessories? Do you throw them, display them or reguraly keep changing the weapon/pose? I don't have the heart yet to throw them out and filled out a big bag.
  9. Lizard (as most have said) fits in perfectly as doc conners appears in part 2 and 3. I personnaly am on the same line as ARROW and would like to see Mysterio as the next villain. I think visually it would be more appealing.
  10. Relative to yours Tarot...mine is small. Where do you live man? Also where did you pick up that sweet display case at?.. I live in India. Got the display case custom made. Once that fills up dont know what i am going to do
  11. I know there has been a couple of posts on this topic, but thought i would have a single one. Can anyone list all the different types of spiderman figures out there, in terms of a particular artist style or costume. Let me start of with some: 1. Classic Spiderman (SMC 1) 2. Battle damaged spiderman 3. Iron Spiderman 4. Man-Spider 5. Spidermn 2099 (KB) 6. Scarlet Spiderman (KB) 7. Alex Ross Spiderman (Dual web??) 8. Spider-Hulk 9. Spider Armor Costume (Web Trap Spider-Man) 10. FA spiderman (ML 10) Please add on to the list....this is going to be my next endevour.
  12. Relative to yours Tarot...mine is small.
