  1. note: Secret Wars wasn't lame when you read as a teenager. And since I can roll-back my age as I read comics, it still is great! OK, Here is my first pitch. Hasbro goofed when they dropped the comics but I can kinda see why. Here is an alternative... Since Graphic Imaging Technology (www.gitcorp.com) is already scanning all old Marvel comics, why not include a mini-CD-ROM with all ML figures that includes 1 to 3 issues relevant to the figure and other cross promotional stuff! Or give us an access code with the figure to see it online! Digital age Hasbro, embrace it. Now, on to the figs I wanna see: Iron Man - post Armor Wars/Neo Classic (I know you guys will hat another IM but I wnat this one most of all) WANT MOST Baron Zemo - the new one. include the Avengers issues where the MOE destroys the Avengers mansion Red Skull - in a suit or tux (white and black variants) Super Patriot - John Walker pre-US Agent US Agent - WANT BAD Crimson Dynamo - during Armor Wars (best one) Forge - blue/yellow costume (Jim Lee) Namor - I did this for you guys because he is necessary but I may not get him Warpath/Thunderbird - he's due Jean Grey - Jim Lee, orange tights with blue in middle version NIMROD - nuff said! Batroc - I want someone for Capt America to kick the snot out of Guardian - yup I agree Union Jack - good choice Absorbing Man - with upper torso/arms/head that changes color with temperature change Crossbones - another great villian Captain America - armored version from "Fighting Chance" Sharon Carter - can you tell I'm a Cap fan? (Marvel - bring STEVE back dummies!!! Take a year of you need to tho) Dum Dum Dugan - yup we need a Howlin' Commando The Beyonder - with michael jackson 80s suit or see through black with sparkles BAFs Fing Fang Foom Drax the Destroyer - just cuz it'd e super cool The Watcher Dragon Man

    Joint Innovation

Now that you mention hip-balls... I am getting really frustrated with Hasbro's positioning of where the pin is placed in the groin area. In the past with Toy Biz, the hip-ball pins were placed horizontally pointed toward the other. This allowed you to simply move the legs back and forth like the basic swivel joints found on classic Star Wars figures. It makes it easy to pose your figure running. At the end of the Toy Biz run, (I saw it mainly with the Icons 12" figures) the hip-ball pins were moved to an angle pointing up toward the opposite shoulder. While the posability remained almost equal, the simplicity was hosed. When kids play with figures they sometimes hold a leg in each hand and swivel them back and forth to simulate the figure running or walking. This cannot be done with the new hip-ball pins. I have the Hasbro Thor and She Hulk and they are horrible to pose. I almost wish Hasbro would have put in a swivel joint. Sure they hid the ball pretty well, but they sacrificed posability. The double jointed elbows and knees was supposed to help us collectors and kids pose the figure is a ton of different ways, the hidden hip-balls is messing that up. Add to that the difficulty in getting my Icons Captain America to stand at all (let alone a cool pose), it has me very frustrated. Rant complete. Thanks for listening to my 2¢.
  3. Generic - I'd go with S1 Iron Man. The sculpt was used 3 times in Series 1. Then, in series 7 they retooled most of it to make the Silver Centurion Iron Man. With my background in Star Wars collecting I have started to look for resculpts constantly. Most Unique? - I'll go with Juggernaut. He was huge and there is little to no way his parts could be recycled on another figure. Same goes for Kingpin (exception: a color change).
  4. Well, if you go by what I own, I'd have to say Iron Man - Face off (yellow and red). He's just too skinny for the other figs and he's Iron Man, he should be alightly bulkier than a human body . If you go by all-time, I'd go with: Series 7 Apocalypse. He looks like Puck! The BAF did remedy the situation though. The paint job on X-Factor Cyclops stunk too. The "X" should have been much thicker IMHO. Oh, and Hasbro's X3 Juggernaut looks like he's gonna cry on every fig I've seen.
