  1. Can anyone say with reasonable certainty how much the Joe exclusives will cost? I'm not going, but I want to be sure and give my friend enough money. Thanks!
  2. Wave 4 Storm Shadow. I've only seen him in the store once, but I'd already got him online. I had to buy all my variants online.
  3. How about this one: TOMAX XAMOT RIPOFF "SOMEONE HAD ONE OF THESE ON EBAY A WHILE BACK. I GOT THIS FROM A GUY WHO SAID IT IS REAL BUT SOLD IT TO ME TO CHEAP TO BE REAL. BUT I BOUGHT ANYWAY BECAUSE IT LOOKS GREAT. THE BACK AT THE TOP LEFT HAS A LITTLE PAPER LOSS AND EDGE IS A LITTLE SOFT. THE GLUE AROUND EDGES IS COMPLETELY SEALED AND WAS NOT TAMPERED WITH SO IF IT IS A CUSTOM IT IS A GOOD ONE. GOOD LUCK BIDDING. I AM GOING TO SELL THIS AS A CUSTOM EVEN THOUGH I DON'T THINK IT IS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT ANYONE COMPLAINING WHEN THEY GET IT. I DON'T KNOW THAT'S IT SO GOOD LUCK." So, he doesn't think it's real, but he's gonna sell it for $150 anyway?
  4. To kind of confirm and maybe elaborate on what Wheeljack35 said ... (I work at Target, too) ... as I understand it the Street Date for these is April 13, which means they're not supposed to be Set until that date. The guy I talked to in Toys said that if the Street Date isn't on the box, we could sell them before the Set Date, before April 13. (This may not be completely accurate, I'm just sharing my situation with you in case it helps.) At my store they're being set at one of the Checklanes with the Star Wars stuff. He also told me that we have 15 of them in already.
  5. DCUC Series 2 figures are available at Toyrocket. I checked a lot of the big online stores and didn't find them available anywhere else, especially not as singles. At this moment they've got each one available except for Superman Blue (backordered) and the modern Firestorm (preorder) because he hasn't been released yet.
  6. I want to get a Superman figure for my collection from the JLU line and I'm trying to decide which one to get. Since they're all so similar (and abundant) I was thinking of trying to get one of the "first" ones, but I don't know how to identify it. There's orange cards, purple, blue. Can anyone explain which of the JLU figures were the first produced? Thanks a million.
  7. Without reading everyone else's comments, my big question is: If they had a prototype of Major Bludd, why would they have to push him back to Wave 8. Seems if he was at the same point as the other figures in Wave 7, i.e. releasing a prototype picture, why wouldn't they just release him?
  8. I wonder what it is about the figure, or any delayed figure, that is causing the delay?
  9. Worst: X3 Jean Grey Variant The regular version was bad enough, but then they made her a clammy insomniac. Runner-up: Flame-fro Human Torch I hear he was pretty popular as the main attraction at Burning Man, but he sucked as a Legend.
  10. I try not to buy things that I don't or won't enjoy. That way, when I look around, I don't see a waste or time or money, I see something cool.
  11. Looking at the DCUC Batman figure, I think they'll probably do a 70's era Superman, which would be really cool. Something like the way Neal Adams depicted him.
  12. Now, I'm honestly curious. We can't post pictures and we can't post links ... but can we suggest a google search or a website? Are these things okay or still taboo because they have the same result?
  13. Action figure aisle was just reset at the Target in Columbia, Missouri. Just like North Dakota, if the first series of DCUC is here, they've most likely hit everywhere else.
  14. At what stage was your order cancelled? I place my order on 12/29 and recieved an email that it had shipped on 12/31. I'd imagine anyone with a cancelled order didn't get an email that their order had shipped. Did all of those with cancelled orders pay with Paypal?
  15. I talked to the guy in charge over there today and he told me that the 5 packs had been discontinued. He didn't have much more information than that. I think it's very likely that if these 5 packs have been discontinued, it's just because the newer 5 packs will be under a different UPC or code. Happens all the time.
  16. Sorry, but, like I said, it may not be happening everywhere.
  17. Joe wave 5 and 5 CG's My mom said she felt like I was 8 again buying that for me. Color me jealous! I didn't get any joes, but, then I didn't ask for any.
  18. I knew this was going to happen when I saw dozens of G.I.Joe, Cobra and Cobra Legions 5-packs on the shelves day after day after day ... They've gone clearance! Right now it looks like they are 25% off because they're selling for $17.48. You could pick one up now or wait until they go 50%. I should say that Clearance depends on the store. Just because it happened here doesn't mean it happened at your Target. But there's a chance! Merry Christmas!
  19. Nevermind. I hate when eBay sellers put "25th" in everything ...
  20. The Target where I live has removed all the single pegs, too, because they're flexing the entire backroom onto the floor. With no 25th figures, they have to fill the space with something else. It occurs to me that if Hasbro is shipping less figures right now, that's really to our benefit. Parents will buy anything for their kid, regardless of what it is.
  21. They're actually devaluing the figures by increasing the supply of figures, but they still charge the same amount. I wasn't really thinking like this, but that's pretty inconsiderate to both the collector and the casual shopper.
  22. Based on what we've seen, it won't sell out. It'll just go up in price.
