  1. Similar thread was posted few months ago. If you have missed it then perhaps this would help. A tally of those who have voted: http://forums.toynewsi.com/index.php?showtopic=2041251
  2. if they are making one I am sure they would include him under the Marvel Knights brand.
  3. Apache Chief is a skrull? What would they think of next, Captain America is also one too?
  4. its neither 5 or 6 inch. I reckon its around 7 inch scale. The Savage Dragon's fin are sharp and long. Have you seen series 3 they got a figure there that looks as tall as Shaq.
  5. I think LCBH is here to stay. Yes they are not perfect. Judge Dredd's helmet should have been removable. Witchblade is too skinny, etc... Pitt was difficult to assemble and so on. But one thing I like about them is that they are cheaper compared to Hasbro and that is a big thing. This is based on my location is Asia. I am not sure how much it cost for you there in the US. Here are the figures in Asia - Hasbro $13.99 vs LCBH $10 The price still reflects the old Toy Biz price and that is the key for its longevity.
  6. What is Apache Chief doing in Marvel? Did his contract with DC expired and pirated by Joe Quesada? Just kidding though.
  7. Sentinel Icons at 14 inch is not that bad. Since there a lot of variations for those Mutant Hunting Robots.
  8. I guess the scale plays a vital role as well. Look at Punisher Icon, that was ridiculously too big. I reckon size does matter. A character should be portrayed correctly with the height. For six inch, it is not quite obvious but still needs improvement as well.
  9. my bad though. didnt realized it was for movie figs until it was too late.
  10. actually the power struggle begin with Jim Shooter and Voyager communications. It was a question who owns who and in which direction to go. Jim Shooter left and Valiant experience a temporary rise to power even without him. But with no direction like Shooter it failed to capitalize the declining comic book market. It end up with lose-lose situation for both parties. Shooter didn't make the same success with his defiant line, while Valiant was sold to Acclaim comics. Realism was the key to their success, but Acclaim reversed the method that put the Valiant universe to the grave. Now another company bought back the rights and seemed to be bringing Shooter back to the fold. The Honeymoon was over and I guess the divorse was refutted. I guess the title should be "I KNOW PRONOUNCE YOU JIM AND VALIANT."
  11. sometimes price plays a big role. but the "complete them all" mentality has been engrained in our mindset. It really depends on our willpower to withstand temptation I guess.
  12. Which Marvel Legends do you prefer: Icons or Regular? Do you buy only one or both? I guess I am a casual Icons collector and a regular Regular collector.
  13. jim shooter BAF would be funny. I would rather buy Valiant characters rather than the other legendary characters I have not heard. Unfortunately there is a power struggle in attaining the rights.
  14. hard to find Hasbro are: MOC Thor and Unmasked Iron Man for BAF parts Ultimate Wolverine, Jean Grey and Juggernaut. since nobody wants those figs. Would Hasbro ever learn?
  15. FF wave 2: BAF is Blastaar? Mr. Fantastic Illuminati Human Torch_ First Appearance Invisible Woman Invisible version Ben Grimm_ Human version Puppet Master Doombot Klaw Super Skrull we can only wish though.
  16. what if the Legendary Comic Book Heroes acquire the rights to produce the figs? Characters like Solar, Magnus, Rai, Rai 2, Bloodshot, X-O Manowar, Ninjak, Eternal Warrior, Geomancer, Turok, Harbinger. I think they would still sell. But the question is do people still remember them? The younglings probably don't know who they are. If you do then it reminds you one thing. We are getting old.
  17. Loki was quite good. If they released the next line hopefully they could skip him.
  18. is the current thor called stracenski thor or copiel thor?
  19. Hey Tarot I support you all the way, but this time the Wolverine line seems wrong. Perhaps it would have been better if it is an X-Men since most of the characters fall under the X-Men category. Just giving my 2 cents worth. Hope you don't take it in bad way.
  20. hey good job Tarot, but Crimson Dynamo refers to Classic Version not the new one. There is a chance that Iron Man Wave would be released but the question is when?
  21. you got a problem of loose joints for your figure. the hinges between the neck and the head are not that tight. most customizers know how to adjust that.
  22. I agree with amending the topic in a way it is easier to analyze which ones are really in demand. For instance a Hasbro Survey on top 5 characters with specific category with choices to make it easier. For instance, similar to All Star games only specific players are already put on ballot. All you need to do is just tick the box. We could put the same way here for top 5 Avengers but with choices ranging up to 20 or 40. Mulligan thread, I agree with that but limited to specific category. If you like new Toad or Emma then it goes under the X-Men votes. If you like new Iron Man then under Avengers or Iron Man. If anybody would go for that then we should start soon, before Hasbro decide to put which characters to put for Wave 5 to 9.
  23. Dont forget the Tally with this link: http://forums.toynewsi.com/index.php?showtopic=2041251
