  1. Greetings! Long time no post! Hope you you like this Ares I made for a client. Base figure: Thor Marvel Now, with BAF Ares head and sword, Neca parts , custom accessories, and sculpted parts Thanks!

  5. Greetings! I'm new SD reader... or should I say convert. I've never read anthing so entertainingly bold and unpredictable since Garth Ennis's Preacher. After reading the first hundred issues of SD, I just hasd this itch to customize an action figure. McFarlane version of SD is fine and I think pretty accurate to how Erik Larsen SOMETIMES draws Savage Dragon. Just want ed to make something less exaggerated than the McFarlane version, but a bit more buffed and detailed than the LCBH version.. sculpted parts: eyelids, eyebags, upper lip, few facial muscles, sculpted bigger muscles and an under shirt. new pair of straightcut jeans. I keep forgetting he only stands 5'10". So I've added and trimmed his legs several times.
  6. WOOPS DOUBLE POST PLEASE DELETE SORRY
  7. thanx again guys! if it wasn't unmanly i'd get teary eyed by reading your praises. @loll@ hehe hope you like my next one: Black Widow
  8. PHOTOS BY ANGELO VILLEGAS BASE FIGS: Xmen Jean Grey, Mystique The head was a last minute replacement. I used the Jessica Alba head frm F4. But she looked too young and sweet. I ended up chopping the head off of Jean Grey xmen movie toy. I always imagined Famke playing the role of Black Widow. She already played a russian operative in James Bond Golden Eye so I thought she'd be really hot playing the role of a former super Russian Ex-Spy. I made alot of mistakes in this fig. Particularly the length of her thigh and left arm. It will soon be corrected... or maybe not. I'll apply my corrections on ELEKTRA. Next: The Punisher based on Marvel Max and Lark's design-- the not-so-goon-like-still-has-a-chance-to-get-laid version.
  9. I hope you uys would likemy next fig for the Marvel Knights series: Blade 1 photos by angelo villegas

  13. hi guys I'm here again to share another serious fig. Aside from the previously posted Boromir with chainmail, I also expereimented in articulating plated armor. Particularly at the hip area. here's... PROMETHEA from Alan Moore' s grapic novel.
  14. I never tire of looking at your Puma. Its currently my fave of your customs
  15. Man this tops all the Cable custom toys i've seen. I would've painted the pants differently though. but that's just me. More please!
  16. That is the BEST set of customized toys i've ever seen. Wasn't so crazy about Iceman and Archangel though (don't worry it's just a subjective criticism). Even so, if toybiz came up with these designs they'd make millions. I'm sure everyone's going to buy a set. i know i would.
  17. cheap mash-up or not, i think it's a pretty gosh darn fraggin son of a bastitch cool custom! Seeing this fig sure brings back memories of the grunge era of music, thrash metal, and freakishly overkill cheap alternatives of already existing marvel characters (most are not even worth remembering). I only bought the first 4 issues of PITT but it was pretty darn entertaining! Oh and Dale Keown (like Simon Bisley, has his own heavy metal band) created the character right after he quit doing Hulk. And yes, he admittedly said it was a direct inspiration of the Hulk, the Main Man Lobo, and Heavy Freakin Metal! Rock on boys!
  18. This was my entry at the PHILIPPINE toycon 2007, that got me the 2nd place award. My major entry was PROMETHEA which took me 3 months to make coz it was 80% done from scratch. Lobo however, only took me 3 after-work-nights to make. It's still unfinished if you noticed the coarseness of the paint app, plus a few unpainted parts which i had to cover up with blood. Thanx for viewing guys! hope you enjoy! PHOTO BY ANGELO VILLEGAS
  19. wow nice job! That's an ANGEL fig right? from Angel TV series? where'd the head come from? neat!
  20. I absolutely love it! Good choice of comic-version basis. I love Garth Ennis comicbook titles too! Nice Paint app!
  21. wow! That's amazing! Cool! i can't for you to make their dad!
