  1. edward norton is literally my most HATED actor.

This is such an odd statement, lol. I mean, I can understand not liking they guy, even though the general consensus seems to be most people think he is good (and he was nominated for an Academy Award). But your most hated actor??? Why would anybody care THAT much about Edward Norton? And Ashton Kutcher still makes movies...now there's somebody you could really love to hate, lol.

Well really the difference is this

Whenever I hear edward norton, ANYWHERE, on anything, I want to literally shoot my brains out.

  2. well whatever you do don't spoil SM3 but so are you saying it didn't sound good? I'm sure the action and visuals will be nice..

I think that Peter has moved past the highschool/college Peter that you saw in the early 60s and in SM4 should be at the point we saw him as in the 80s-90s. Older, an adult, different look.. Recasting would be fine for me at that point. A clone saga would be great.

As far as Sam Raimi's next project I'd rather him do Evil Dead 4

  3. crossposting is fun

this is like a NIGHTMARE for me

edward norton is literally my most HATED actor. He is such a bad, overactor that I can't stand to watch ANYTHING he's in.

Not only is this just bad because of that but this is already the 2nd shot at making Hulk for the new Marvel movies... oh god oh god........

well here's hoping he falls out for some reason.

  4. I was really looking forward to this. It was like seeing the movie all over again because I realized I hadn't seen the entire movie more than once in theaters.

I found this at Walmart yesterday for 12.88 and was like "stupid walmart" and bought it of course, but then I found out walmart got an exclusive 5 day early release

  5. CommanderDon, why don't you just leave the thread already. It was an ANIMATED film, not live action with the costumes like the first 3 films. Go watch them and enjoy what you like instead of coming here and trying to prove your dogma about how humans should look like in ANIMATED CGI films.

    I don't get it

    shouldn't humans....look like... HUMANS?

  6. I thought they looked fine, you didn't. So be it, we can't prove either of us are right.

    ummm uhh, I can though

humans DON'T look like that, plain and simple

Look, he's saying that it's dumb that you were disappointed with it even though you hate ALL CGI movies. It's like hating the Lord of the Rings series, and being disappointed when you see them, it makes no sense. Humans always look that way in CGI movies, so why set such standards? @hmmm@

Are you trying to actually tell me that goofy, weird, wacky, freaky humans are now the de facto standard for all CGI humans? That's ridiculous. They should strive to make them look realistic. The first 3 turtles were in real life, that's why people went to see them.

There is a difference in the types of CGI movies that I hate. TMNT: the kind I hate. It's just lazy moviemaking all around.

  7. So then should we just give up reading any TMNT comics? The art doesn't look photo-realistic so obviously it's bad.

It's an animated film. Don't go in looking for humans that look up to your standards since you'll be disappointed.

Don't bring other mediums into this

they made the humans look like freaky people.. it just wasn't good

  8. Dudes, you have to make sure you see this flick in a digital theater. I thought the CGI was top notch. The rendering of everything in that movie was fantastic! I admit the story line was kind of lame. I hate the fact it had to be toned down so the kiddies could watch. I wish it was darker in mood like the Dark Horse comics. I've been wishing everything TMNT related was going to be darker in mood like the original comic. Anywho, worth seeing in the theatre!

The humans were done horribly and the whole movie BEING in CGI is what ruined it for me

  9. I'm sad to say I was severely disappointed by this movie. I really didn't like it. It took a while for me to admit it completely because it hurts to say it but it sucked. I absolutely cannot stand CGI. Sad to say I feel like my beloved franchise is truly dead

  10. I only paid 5.99 for them and bought every single one (minus the Spidey variants). I love them, perfect size, fun, come with a sticker.. I'm extactic about them. Great quality too.

They come with stickers???? I'm gonna go get some now

    yup

every single one of them comes with the Spider-Man sticker (the Spider-Man you see on the package: that's the sticker, so don't throw it away!) I love surplus.

  11. I dont know much, but I read on another site that each Walmart only gets ONE LE Venom. Sounds insane to me, but I suppose its possible, but if it is true I'll be pretty pissed since he was the only figure I was really planning on getting, besides one or two of the ooze figures. Gotta love the ooze :P

No that is absolutely untrue. To carry something they would have to have a peg holder and make special room for it, there's no way they would only get one of something unless it was a series of figures with the different figures being interchangeable in the line.

  12. I don't think I like Tobey Maguire as Spider-man in this point of his life. He made a great teenage/high school Spider-Man but they need to recast to fill the part of Spider-Man as he has been for the past 30 years.

I think Tobey Maguire fit the part much better than Hugh Jackman did Wolverine... that was just bad casting.
