Just to be technical, the "under god" in the pledge thing hasn't been in the pledge for very long at all. But that's the thing, we do ignore it because we know that, even though these things are obviously unconstitutional, those who actually are for those things will never let us change it. It's kind of a selfish society dont ya think?

I'm glad people get to see the other side of the coin. To those of us without a god or religion it is a pain to always hear "under god" and "in god we trust"

Wal-Mart Exclusive Spider-Man 3 Venom release date?
CommanderDon replied to egoing75's topic in Marvel
i was pretty disappointed by this one so basically there isn't a true black spider-man yet -
Spider-Man Director Sam Raimi Considers The Hobbit
CommanderDon replied to JayC's topic in DC Comics
SM1 2002 SM2 2004 SM3 2007 So maybe 2010-2012 for SM4. Sooner the better. The thing is, Spider-Man has a TON of stories that can be chosen from, if they make the movie good then there should be no problem -
This is such an odd statement, lol. I mean, I can understand not liking they guy, even though the general consensus seems to be most people think he is good (and he was nominated for an Academy Award). But your most hated actor??? Why would anybody care THAT much about Edward Norton? And Ashton Kutcher still makes movies...now there's somebody you could really love to hate, lol. Well really the difference is this Whenever I hear edward norton, ANYWHERE, on anything, I want to literally shoot my brains out.

well whatever you do don't spoil SM3 but so are you saying it didn't sound good? I'm sure the action and visuals will be nice.. I think that Peter has moved past the highschool/college Peter that you saw in the early 60s and in SM4 should be at the point we saw him as in the 80s-90s. Older, an adult, different look.. Recasting would be fine for me at that point. A clone saga would be great. As far as Sam Raimi's next project I'd rather him do Evil Dead 4 -
crossposting is fun this is like a NIGHTMARE for me edward norton is literally my most HATED actor. He is such a bad, overactor that I can't stand to watch ANYTHING he's in. Not only is this just bad because of that but this is already the 2nd shot at making Hulk for the new Marvel movies... oh god oh god........ well here's hoping he falls out for some reason.

Guy in charge of new Animated Spidey spills beans
CommanderDon replied to pastwatch2001's topic in DC Comics
I always hated the 90s show so here's hoping this one is good -
I was really looking forward to this. It was like seeing the movie all over again because I realized I hadn't seen the entire movie more than once in theaters. I found this at Walmart yesterday for 12.88 and was like "stupid walmart" and bought it of course, but then I found out walmart got an exclusive 5 day early release

Disgustingly disappointed with Geordi/Barclay/Data
CommanderDon replied to Bigsexy944's topic in General Toy Talk
i just dont get why people don't like the geordi/data wave other than lack of accessories they're the best of the line. THe shiny plastic is muuuch better -
Which black suited Spidey do you think is most accurate?
CommanderDon replied to CommanderDon's topic in Marvel
I got the regular edition today he's not black, he's a gunmetal gray/silver -
This was a mismark but at Target today they had the normally $20 dart blaster (clone trooper/rebel trooper varieties) for $4.48 and the tag said regularly 4.99.. but when I took it up there it was $20 total but I had him match the price.
-
Accurate to the movie I guess I'm going to have to say regular edition

They come with stickers???? I'm gonna go get some now yup every single one of them comes with the Spider-Man sticker (the Spider-Man you see on the package: that's the sticker, so don't throw it away!) I love surplus.
-
I only paid 5.99 for them and bought every single one (minus the Spidey variants). I love them, perfect size, fun, come with a sticker.. I'm extactic about them. Great quality too.

Can anyone estimate when the LE Venom is coming out yet?
CommanderDon replied to CommanderDon's topic in Marvel
No that is absolutely untrue. To carry something they would have to have a peg holder and make special room for it, there's no way they would only get one of something unless it was a series of figures with the different figures being interchangeable in the line. -
I want them..

I don't think I like Tobey Maguire as Spider-man in this point of his life. He made a great teenage/high school Spider-Man but they need to recast to fill the part of Spider-Man as he has been for the past 30 years. I think Tobey Maguire fit the part much better than Hugh Jackman did Wolverine... that was just bad casting.
-
Ok that's awesome btw Mary Jane must have some implants
-
I just bought a bunch of figures at walmart for 5.99 all 4 villains other than GG and DocOck, Spidey (rednblue super articulated) and Venom and New Goblin
-
Of course not, DUH! Peta can only have sex with animals, not insects.
-
I've dropped the line completely because of the change. Quality, price, it's not reasonable or logical anymore.
-
I'm a little surprised, a toy that encourages kids to play with spiders? http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?p...7#prod_prodinfo

I was just at walmart, I saw they had around 15 million of these still left, probably because they're $8.76.. ok no worries about them being rare.
