  1. Very nice collection. Wish I could find some Temple Guards. And that's alot of Russians. :-)
  2. Thanks and sorry about the lack of response guys. Just started working at my old job again; so haven't had as much internet time as usual. DarkHorse is correct about the Puma. Willie was a Homestead Padme Amidala w/ Mara Jade arms & head. The hair came from the little Temple of Doom Willie. I took what're hopefully cleaer pics of everything. Will post them when I get a chance. Thanks again. :-)
  3. Hey there guys. It's been a while. Finished up the last of my Indy customs today. :-) First up is the other German Mechanic; who I believe is based on DarkHorse's recipe. And after a long hiatus; my last set of Temple of Doom (and Indy) figures. They are Chen, Club Obi-Wan Willie Scott; and Blumbertt's Soldier. As always thanks for lookinng. :-)
  4. Very cool. I have those goggles on mine too. :-)
  5. A pic of Gleek can be seen here. http://thedoosh.net/forum/index.php?topic=152.60
  6. I think it'd work well with some paintwork to thicken the beard. I'd mod the hair a bit too; but it'd prob work almost as well untouched.
  7. Cool customs and damn is that alot of Thuggee. Mine is still unfortunately an army of one.
  8. Let's see a pic. :-) This happened to my LOTR Cave Troll and ML Morbius. But those were ToyBiz' doing.
  9. Any chance you'll be making casts of the Willie Scott head or a variation of it?
  10. Yeah it seems on Ebay you're better off buying them as a set. In the set they average out to about $12 a piece. Out of it at least $20. It's insane really.
  11. I heard that this and one other 12" figure (Mutt maybe?) have been turning up in very short supply. I was never interested in the 12" Hasbro stuff so I haven't been paying much attention though.
  12. My local Wal-Mart took Indy out of the toy aisle and threw them into some sort of Christmas Clearance disaster aisle section. Not many are left; so I'd be surprised to see them get more in.
  13. I'm really beginning to believe that toy companies don't know what Indiana Jones fans want. I mean when dealing with a price range of $80 you want to go with the characters everyone loves. Mola Ram, Belloq; Henry Sr. I can't see many people shelling out that kind of money for Mutt. KOTCS seems to definitely be the least popular movie. He'd make a bit of sense later in the line when people have a "collect em all" mentality; but as the second figure; it looks like a line killer imo. Oh well; I wasn't collecting them anyway.
  14. Were there any pictures of this stuff? And if not what interviews were they mentioned in? Other than the doomed set of Raiders figures I don't recall anything else being mentioned in any of the Q&A sessions with Hasbro.
  15. Same here. At the very least this line would make customs of the original crew an easy task. It'd be awesome if they made the original Bridge as a playset as well. I'm not even into this new film; but that playset is pretty sweet.
  16. I use the boiling water bit. A cup of water in the mircowave for 5 minutes softens the plastic pretty fast and allows you to change out the parts alot quicker. Though DarkHorse is right about not heating up the pins on the arms and leg sockets. They become a pain to get in when pliable. You can also cook sculpey in boiling water. As for paints personally I use the cheapy Appel Barrel and Color Traditions paint you can get at Wal-Mart, Michaels, etc. They work great for me and cost at most $1 a bottle.
  17. Tele-Viper: Everything went according to plan sir. Cobra Commander: Yessss! Finally America is mine! You were the perfect mole Baroness!! Baroness: See that kids. The Trojans were good for more than just condoms.
  18. That could be cool. I'm kinda scared to pick up the Young Indy DVDs. It may open up a whole new can of customs. heh. I only have a vague recollection of some of the episodes; but remember them being pretty good. It'd be cool if they used Flannery in Indy V. While I love Ford; he's definitely showing his age and having a younger guy in the part would allow for stories set in the 30s/40s again.
  19. "These are incredible!!! All of them look great. Very Impressive. I can't wait until somebody tackles a Club obi-Wan Willie though..." Thanks. Club Obi-Wan Willie is actually what's holding up my last set. I'm waiting on a part a friend is sending me; but it may not even work. :-/
  20. Hey there guys. Here's my newest Temple of Doom set. They're Kao Kan, Captain Blumbartt; and the Cargo Plane Pilot. One of em anyway. The pic makes ol Blummy's face look a bit weird. Will be photographing them all with a better camera later in the week. Hope you like em. :-) Just waiting on a part before starting my last set now. Gonna miss these little guys.
  21. Yeah. But these'll be tiny seeing as they're just a head and partial torso. Besides they're spirits; I can deal with them being a little bigger if need be.
  22. I saw this BAF from the Dr. Who line and immediately thought they'd be cool for the Ark Ghosts. The blue ones. I'm hoping I'll need the figures they come with for customs so I don't end up shelling out full price just for the BAF piece.
  23. I think that's a great deal. As for them showing up on clearance later; I say it's better to play it safe, get them now; and not pay outragous prices later. I mean they were $9 at K-Mart and TRU anyway; so what's $1 more?
  24. That would be cool. I was hoping Hasbro would get around to releasing the traps like they did for Raiders.
