  1. Okay folk NYCC 2008 is finally done and gone. (thank god too cuase listening to the Cancel romour was given me a headache). First of all i'd like to thank JayC (and best wishes to your dad) and of course Ramsonz, he worked his ass off for us. Okay down to business. It seems that the only confirmed Movie for next year is going to be Wolverine (X-Men Origins: Wolverine. whatever) dispite what i say before. and let face it Hasbro are going to bring out a movie line for the cinema release. Agent X, Silver Fox, Gambit and Deadpool are going to get new figure. but face it outside the comics, no one know these guys. so we need a legend line showcases they're comic book versions. We'll let give hasbro a list of who we want to see or what version we want to see in regular. there are rules; 1. All characters must be DIFFERENT. that mean no voting for the same character. (you guys know why and who i say this to) but you can vote for a character in Regulars and vote for him (once) in the twin packs. 2. give a version of who you want for the character already done. 3. NO MOVIES VIDEO GAMES OR ANIMATED VERSION. other then that the marvel universe his open to you for Wolverine based characters. here the format i want Regulr figures; 1. Civilain Wolverine (White vest and blue jean. Will go well with the movie version. Make a Patch variant with a new head and eye patch and that be great) 2. Weapon X Sabretooth ( to go with the Weapon X theme that the film will more the likely be bout 3. Silver Fox ( she in the movie why not have her) 4. Maverick (i've been wanting this guy for a while and since he's in the movie there a good chance of getting him) 5. Jim Lee Gambit (just throw in the one from the ToyFare fan poll) 6. Cable and Deadpool's um Deadpool (he will be the biggest version of the movie line so we need a new comic version) 7. Guardian ( not in the movie but it open to all wolverine based heroes so why not) 8. Silver Samurai ( the fan poll one please) BAF: Nimrod (not a Wolverine main villian but he did fight him with the x-men and it'll be the same as FFF) Two Packs 1. Beserker Wolverine and Jubilee 2. Northstar and Aurora so get voting folk and i'll tally them up in two weeks.
  2. power owned (i have been wanting to say that foooooorever) and heres to hoping they never make a friggen animated morph action figure again the 5inch one even made me sick THANK YOU. The movies have come and gone. We no doubt will be receiving a lot of X-Men movie Centric figures next year when Wolverine comes out. (Please Deadpool Figure...). And the cartoon had its time and place. If you want Cartoon Figures, there was a whole 5inch figure line dedicated to the show. I really feel that the Marvel Legend line should be for Comic inspired figures Only. If a movie is coming out, fine let it have it's own line, and if Hasbro and Marvel feels the need for more, then on the Dvd release or after the movie figures inevitabley clearance out and stop warming the pegs, do a stand alone Legends line like the FF and Spiderman Sandman BAF. Tarot is correct, comics do hold a lot more. They have a rich history of characters that go back over 60 years. That is sixty years worth of characters that many people have followed, grown up following, and would love to see figures built of. Why do you think so many fans cry out for characters like Firestar, Polaris, and many many more. Neither of these figures have appeared in a movie, granted one was created for a television show, but she at least made her way into the comic world. But I digress. And as for the 90's X-Men cartoon. I watched it, and did I groan everytime they bastardized a character's origin, powers or personality. Hell yes, and I have a feeling I am not alone here. I have heard people refer and quote the show. Even some saying that Jubilee and Longshot were a couple due to that show. What the show should have done, as it was in the heat of X-men fame in the 90's was bring new readers on board. Am I a comic fanboy, who poo poo's on the movie figures and the thought of figures based on Video games and Cartoons. Yes, but I can at least say I learned to read from the works of Chris Claremont, Roy Thomas, and John Byrne. I am also the comic fan who thinks that as great as a first appearance Storm would be, I'd rather have the modern looking costume. And if your only exposure to a character like Storm has been the cartoon (which made her a stuck up goddess #$#@#) or the movies who never gave her role that she deserved on the team, then here are some key stories for you. Pick up any Uncanny X-men comic book from 162 thru 227. If you consider yourself a true storm fan then read the arc from 185-186. This will give you your first look at Forge as well and show the complexities of their relationship. Oh, and if you have always wanted to see Storm woop the ass of Cyclops, pick up 201, which is simply entitled Duel. And for sheer fun, pick up 244. amen bro. i'm not anti-movie or cartoon figs, but i don't want them at the expense of comic figs, nor to be forced to buy unwanted ones to complete a BAF. i agree that the deification of the 90's cartoon has to stop. the comics provided more variety and entertainment than any cartoon or movie ever has. not that i didn't like the marvel movies, because i do, but they're no subsitute for the comics. for example, i'd much rather have the aoa/exile morph than the cartoon one - the cartoon design is boring and we're getting at least the body in the forge/wolvie pack, so go make your own if you want it that much. yeah all you have to do is get the clint barton one and paint it's hair black. Beside there was a Morph in the main line universe and guess what he went the same way was the carton version. to the grave but he didn't come back. He was named Changling (oi! bad name) and his costume was awful. For x-men completist if they wanted an entire x-men team we'll had to get this eventually but not when there is tons (now i mean if you take all there name and put it on a scale they would weight tons.) of character left to be made. Exile Morph is the only morph where going to get (eventually). live with it. now like the other it may sound like i hate the animated/movie/video game. Completely not true. I would have never gotten into marvel without them. but that was over a decade. and beside where do you still watch these program? there not on any british channel as far as i know.
  3. i say they will release them. if they are releasing the red hulk have by september that mean there already done and by the look of the nemesis wave they are done as well just to package them. but i think the only thing that must certainly be coming out is the hulk waves and the twin pack as must of the second wave is (and one package of the first wave) repaints.
  4. I'd like to thank you for the heads-up. I've seen many people wondering where that costume comes from, but you're the first person I've seen give an answer (although someone else might have and I missed it). I checked out that cover (image search "uncanny x-men 381 variant" in Google and it pops right up). You're right; it's a fantastic look, and definitely a cool image to put into figure form. I'm not even a Wolverine fan and I'm a little more excited. yeah it a ice image but a cover variant as a figure kinda strange don't you think? maybe they should have given thet regular figure as the tiger striped and then do this as a variant. Yeah I find it very shocking that tiger stripe is not the regular and black the variant. Tiger Stripe is Wolverine's most iconic costume ever and series 6 wolvie is his best sculpt ever. Every collector and child alike will be chomping at the bit to get their gruby lil' paws on him! well i supposed they wanted to do something different. at least it not made up. then i would have something to say. it be like puttin Animated morph in the line. It for Comics, figure and maybe a few movie figure if we must, line.
  5. i think you'll need something a bit more feminine then man wolf or werewolf by night. i think you'll just have to wait. late face it hasbor know we want that x-force so they we eventually get it.
  6. Are you sure? As far as I can tell his hands are completely unarticulated. If he does have a hinge at his knuckles that's good enough for me and I'm happy. actually i think your right. there is no finger articulation. well at least it's not totally flat like quicksilvers and it as a ball wrist and forearm cut. i think that a new thing right?
  7. what i think hasbro are doing is using the Spring/summer Period to consentrate on the movie lines. Seem fair all the movies come out in those months. By the time they die down, they use the DVD releases to bring out Legends line ( here hoping for a wolverine legends). also they probally will keep the spidey line and twin pack going through out the year and use the ML line as (as much as i hate to say this) a filler line for the winter month.

  9. or to put it in order Savage Land Box set / FFF july 24rt Spider man August Hulk wave 1 august Iron Man Movie wave 2 September red hulk wave september Sunfire september first wave of two pack september hulk wave 2 october. Second wave of two packs october or november (maybe even later) nemesis wave december. god winter going to be expensive.
  10. Where the hell did you hear that Target black Wolverine is getting a Tiger Stripe Variant? I've haven't seen that anywhere. They sure as hell didn't show him in the display case at NYCC... Someone at Fwoosh asked the Hasbro rep and the rep said that Tiger Stripe would be the variant. Which makes total sense since they added the shoulder pads to the ML6 sculpt, and shoulder pads aren't even part of that version of Black Wolverine's costume. if that is ture don't you think Ransomz would have hear it? otherwise it a good idea if done right. I have no idea who or what Ransomz is. I personally don't see why the guy would have any reason to lie. But, take from it what you will. If you don't want to believe it, don't! oh Ransomz is nobody. hes just the guy WHO HAS WORKING HIS ASS OFF FOR THIS SITE TO GET US ALL THE INFORMATION ON ML!!!!! show the man respect.
  11. well i feel that it's not arcticulated enough. of course i could be bias. i alway thought that base would make the perfect web head and you know what i was right.
  12. yeah if they show is a bit more fuller you could see Ronin stand to the left.
  13. truth be told i don't like the Spider-man Classic Secret Wars Spider-man. i got it cuase i thought it would get better. but RHML wave one is miles better and seem to be the favourite for alot of people. but hey if you don't want it it's your choice.

  15. okay this is the third thread for this enough.
  16. thank you. somebody had to say it! im with him. guys you have the patient of a slug. hasbro are after revealing nearly 50 ml figures and you think the line is dead. You guys are just being greedy is what i think. The main line of ML is being replaced by two pack and hulk legends this year and being put as exclusives. Maybe next year we'll get replace by more two pack and a wolverine line with two ( or three if toy-r-us has a say in it) exclusive waves. Oh and just to let you know Wolverine is the only movie next year so they have to put out more next year.
  17. you know something XmanStorm do yourself a favor. Buy a bloody comic book!!! Movies games and animated sereis only hold a hand full of characters. comics hold alot more.
  18. what bout FFF? or are you waiting to get him before you judge?

  22. tarot

    X-Force wolverine?

No, but he's working WITH them. Tarot even said he wasn't working FOR Hasbr, but helping with design and character selection in the first post. I know that costume design was cover art, but wasn't that costume also the one he wore for Secret War a few years ago? you know something im after getting my copie of the volumes of secret war and beside the mask it nearly a exact likeness. so i think we can call this Secret war Wolverine ( much better then variant cover wolverine).
  23. What can I say I was entempered in my youth, but now you know why I am so bitter. I was merely trying to express through a dramatic statement how disappointed I was in hearing that U.S. agent will not be made yeah well i just read that they aren't going forward with US Agent so i kinda understand how you feel. but hey look on the bright side Hasbro has expressed interest in the Wrecking Crew.
  24. Okay i know people are questioning me on the Captain America filming and truth be told you right to. I got my information from wikpedia saying that Captain America was in pre-production. it could be wrong i agree but im hoping it not.
  25. you know im starting to think that Reed and thing 2 pack was put in as a place holder. you know just like FFF was. maybe the finished product might be something like Scared Reed or ultimate reed ( let face it we need a new one) and the thing might be Shirted Thing (im sick of getting him in his shirt he had more costumes people!!) or *fingers Crossed* Mutated Thing.
