  1. The lack of "A" list characters tells me this is a Matty Collector wave. Store exclusives love Batman related characters. We're another step closer to completing the Doom Patrol!
  2. Beyonce as Vixen from JLA? AWESOME. Beyonce as Wonder Woman? >Ahem<(clears throat) NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Hey, I live in Columbus, Ohio (did you lose electric power too?) five minutes away from Meijer on Cleveland avenue. Where did you find Wonder Woman?
  4. who is that -nvm zoomed in on the bottom right...just the bottom right @hmmm@ Denise Milani as i said i zoomed in on the bottom right lets see how many times we can get to see this picture in this topic... OK lol ROTFLOL @hmmm@ oops! You mean the SAME pic??? @lol@ Ooh, another one. And another one again. Stop this at once!

  6. I just got back from TRU and got a few Hulk figs. Many of the eyes are painted poorly (cock-eyed and googly) so look closely. Abomination will make a good Mole Man army builder.
  7. RDJ has a sense of humor that carries over into the movie. I just got back from seeing it and it was great. The Iron Monger looks much more intimidating on the big screen and his voice really tops it off!
  8. My plan all along was to get Cloverfield as a Mole Man creature. I'll also get some movie Abomination figs to act as Moloids as well (since he's not a Marvel Universe version anyway). My Marvel Legends need a big monster to fight! Since Clover is aquatic (according to J.J. Abrams) he'll also act as an Atlantian beast for Namor to command.
  9. I don't follow??? There was a guy on here a while ago who had a custom Bi-Beast pic. I called him on it and he swore up and down that it was real. It was a customized Planet Hulk and he never admitted to it. Now that we see the real thing lo and behold I don't see the guy (whose screen name escapes me) on here anymore.
  10. no she more of a defenders. In fact i don't recall them ever meeting. can anyone think of when thor and Valk actually meet (beside the Avengers where they fought Enchantress and Women Librators)? Yes Val has made plenty of appearances in Thor back in the '80's. She even had a spear that was enchanted by Odin. There was a storyline that tied her closer to the Asgardian Valkyries that gather the fallen warriors. Keith Pollard was artist around that era.
  11. Iron Man sells. When Emma Frost, Banshee and Spider-Man 3 figures kept pegs toasty warm for months Ultimate Iron Man was nowhere to be seen in these parts. How about Iron Man movie figures? Selling great here (just try and find the Target and WalMart exclusives). An Iron Man Legends line is 'money' based on history. I can't speak for other states or countires beyond where I live. I go by what I've seen. Is Iron Man a flop somewhere else? Possibly. I think that the movie and comics have pushed ol' Shell Head to the A List. Let's give him a line. Can you say "14 inch Ultimo BAF"? I can see it now!
  12. See, now I have to get the Satellite Armor and call him "HD MAN!" Good one, DeDz.
  13. SSHHHHH! Don't give them ideas (especially what you said of the Hydro suit)! I don't want any more Mark III repaints. Time for some larger, comic accurate armors.
  14. Shhhhhhhh, graciously give the guy his "out", and hope that everyone learns to have a lil' more faith from now on. lol, ok everyone just quietly sneak out the backdoor, and leave this guy alone with his thoughts No, the TC is right. Hasbro has made an elaborate hoax and all these Marvel Legends are just customs. Remember, Marvel Legends are dead and the proof is all the cancelled orders! Hah! No one is sneeking out the back door!!!
  15. That's the facts. It didn't start with Hasbro like people think. Look at the size of ToyBiz's Sentinel then look at Onslaught and Mojo. Oil prices, friends. Remember back in the '90's with the little Toy Biz figures? When we switched to the Legends scale we got more but paid more. Face it, we collect this stuff and there are certain "must haves" even at a higher price point. I paid over $40 bucks for a Super-Skrull on Ebay. My point? I don't like the $14.99 price but I can't say no to characters I have to have. I bought the Fearsome Foes box set because I had to have that Rhino. In reality we don't have to buy ANY of these toys (well actually I have to!) but we just love this stuff. There is a limit, though.
  16. Now we've seen the actual Hasbro Bi-Beast. That guy on here that swore up and down he had the real figure has been busted! I thought that was a custom. Anyway, I hope they articulate the shoulders properly and not the way Hasbro has him in the prototype.
  17. have you seen the new ones? Nice new armors but how about an all blue Stealth? If I weren't an Iron Man fanatic I'd think these repaints are driving towards Stupid Avenue. I'd say enough already but I know I'll get these anyway. I'd like a comic Iron Man line with some more size to the character though. They could start with the armors in the new video game (especially Hulkbuster).
  18. This has the potential of being my all time favorite Spider-man. Just give me webs that are good and black like FA Spider-Man. The Gargan Venom should have the little eyes within the big white shapes on the head. This is just a prototype anway.
  19. That Mr. Fantastic is from the old Mike Wieringo style box set but repainted in classic colors. The Thing is from the HML FF wave but with classic color trunks. I'd like him to be a bit bigger but I doubt it. Where's Sue and Johnny?
  20. I remember someone on this forum had the actual figure. The picture was real tiny and I said it was a custom but he claimed it was real. I still found it hard to believe. It really just looked like a Planet Hulk repainted with a different head, hands and feet. It even had the same pants length as PH.
  21. 'Monger could be a Doombot, yeah. I'm always on the lookout for "Doombots". I'm somewhat of a Doombot Recruiter. Most recently I bought an Eon Kid villain called Scar because he's a green robot with weapons. I look for "Doomsmen" too. I bought a classic Green Ranger and put him with New Goblin as agents of Dr. Doom. I know it's a stretch but this'll have to do until we actually get Doombots and more. Come to think of it, the Fox Sports Robot would make a fine Doombot too. He's around eight inches tall and not too expensive.
  22. I like box sets, especially the Fearsome Foes one (Best Rhino ever. PERIOD.). I'm afraid they just don't sell well though. I just bought the Toy Biz monster set a couple of weeks ago from a local comic shop. It's a cool set but Frankenstein and Werewolf by Night are tiny considering they're by ToyBiz. Young Avengers boxes were stacked up at TRU and Wal Mart. I think if the characters are cool the set will do well. It seems 2-packs are going to be the norm. I hope I'm wrong about this because I want a Wrecking Crew set and a Thunderbolts set with Masters of Evil as set variants. Not to mention an Iron Man foes set with Mandarin, Blizzard, Whirlwind, Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo.
  23. Check out the figure wish list threads for tons of ideas. Adam Warlock, Deadpool, Firestar, and Storm just to name a few. I'd love to see Iron Man villains.
  24. That sounds shady. No bids then suddenly another bid right when you bid? On a HML wave 1 Hercules? Hmmm.... Too bad you don't live in Ohio (USA) because Herc is probably still on pegs around here. Banshee is still on pegs, I kid you not.
