  1. I changed my Avatar, okay. I buckle under pressure very easliy.
  2. Just got him the other day. Another satisfied customer. Anyone else buy this figure? What do you think? A good buy for the money? I paid less than a hundred. I draw the line at 100 dollars for a figure. This may be my last 1/6 scale with the way DC is pricing it's figures. I want this line to succeed, but I hope DC can keep the price under the 100 mark while maintaining the quality.
  3. These figures look very nice. Still haven't bought one though. I'm sticking to the DC Direct 1/6 scale. That being said, I don't like the looks of the 1/6 scale Wonder Woman. The women in the DC Direct line look very odd. It's the legs and arms.
  4. How much do these figures cost? Around $50-100? Can I find these at Wal-Mart?
  5. I bought myself a few geek items. The first being a full size Iron Man helmet by Factory X. The bases are damaged yet the Helmet itself is in excellent condition. The base didn't matter to me. Basically, it was a damaged goods sale. Next, I bought the 1:1 scale Batman Dark Knight Cowl from Noble Collection. Third, I found a Barry Allen/ Flash Replica Ring at a flea market. My dream of having real Superhero Trophy Room is slowly becoming a reality.
  6. Picked her up this week. Another wonderful addition to the DC line. This a very simple, elegant figure.
  7. I ordered the cowl. Can't wait to get it. Some dealers on E-Bay are selling them, but for $50-100 over SRP!? The dealers are very shy about who produces the cowl. I just went to the Noble website and ordered it. Very curious why DC Direct hasn't produced a Batman cowl in it's props line. Marvel's using Museum Replicas for it's replicas. The Thor helmet is nice along with the Iron Man helmet. These are a better deal than the Joker Cane. And dammit, I'm waiting for DC Direct to produce another Flash prop Ring.
  8. Check out Noblecollection.com for some very cool Dark Knight products. They're producing a FULL size 1:1 Batman Dark Knight Cowl.
  9. This is one of those great statues that get's mysteriously lost or broken by a girlfriend or wife. I love to look at a great set of boobies, but this type of collectible is the main reason why mothers don't take their sons to the comic book store. And if you have a wife or girlfriend that also enjoys looking at these types of statues. You, my friend, are very, very, lucky. Keep her happy and don't lose her.
  10. What is heck is going on with the 1/6 Scale figure line? Quit with movie based crap! Bring on the Teen Titans. Bring on the Justice Society. Bring on the JLA. Enough with the movie figures. And the price is out of control. $125 for a DC Direct figure? Am I the only one that feels this way?
  11. I thought this prop had already come out? Is this resolicited? The replica props are very cool. I rather like this stuff. I just bought the Captain America '60s Shield prop from Museum Replicas. This type of collecting is expensive, but worth it if you want to build up a JLA-like Trophy Room. Now, the Joker Cane is way over-priced as well as the Superman Cape.
  12. I'll pass on this thank you. Come on DC, bring on the Teen Titans (Silver Age). Or members of the Justice Society. Good luck with Sgt. Rock.
  13. Picked up both figures today. Ouch! My bank account hurts. That being said, the figures look great. I like the detail of the Jokers face, especially the teeth. Gnarly. Another wonderful addition to the 13 inch figure club. Now DC, bring on the Teen Titans. I 'm dying to see what Speedy will look like.
  14. I pre-ordered Sinestro the other day. Just gotta wait it out now. I can't really get into the 13" movie figures, even the Watchmen ones. I think DC Direct is going to make the whole Watchmen team in 13" form. I'm curious to see how these sell.
  15. Sorry, unable to show a pic. I've had a hard time uploading pics to this website. Hopefully someone else can show a pic.
  16. Just picked up the latest 13" figure from DC Direct. Bizarro looks good. I like the details of the face. The teeth are cool. He's pretty creepy. The color tone of the costume is different from the other Superman figures. Bizarro's is darker. He's a good addition to the rest of the DC 13" club. But dammit, I want Speedy and the rest of the Teen Titans! Anyone else got him? Watcha think?
  17. Why doesn't DC Direct make maquettes any more? I would love to buy some based on the New Frontier or JLU cartoons. Maquettes look great on shelves and display cases. I thought these sold very well too.
  18. I saw this item on E-Bay yesterday. Looks good. Might be my first Tonner. This figure would be a great addition to a Superman collection.
  19. I bought the one that came out several years ago. It looks great and isn't metal. You can still find these on E-Bay. It's identical to the metal version. What difference does it make once it's in a display case anyway? It's an expensive rehash from DC Direct. I'm waiting for a Phantom Zone Projector. If DC Direct is going to rehash stuff, go back to the Flash Ring. It's on my want list and I can't find it anywhere.
  20. Put this on the order form. The detail on the face looks great. Looks like DC went with a new body style for Sinestro. This is going to look fantastic next to GL or the other villains. Keep 'em coming DC Direct. I've said it once and I'll say it again- I want the Teen Titans! I think DC will eventually get to them. DC Direct seems to be making a commitment to produce these 13" figures on a regular basis. Slowly but surely the entire DC Universe is going to be reproduced in 13" figure form. I still remember when DC Direct launched the Planet Krypton souvenier prop(s) program. That didn't go very far, but these figures seem to be coming out every month or so. I could care less about the movie related figures, but I love the DC Universe ones.
  21. I just want DC Direct to keep pumping out 13" figures on a regular basis. Speedy and the rest of the Teen Titans are on my wish list.
  22. I own Green Arrow and I am happy. Kudos to DC Direct. Another good job. Well worth the wait.
  23. Gotta have it. Stuff like this looks great next a Utility Belt or Thor Hammer. It's not cheap, but not over priced like the Superman Cape.
  24. I'll pass on this one. I don't collect the 13" figures based on a movie like Batman Begins, Dark Knight, and Superman Returns. Classic DC. That's where it's at!
