Oh....my....GOD THAAAANK YOU HASBRO!!!!! Sweet GEEZUS thank you!!!!!!!!!!! I am so so so friggin' ecstatic Hasbro finally decided to release this wave of Raiders of the Lost Ark. That's my favorite Indiana Jones movie full of such magic excitement and awesome action ANNND arguably two of THE coolest villains Toht and German Mechanic! (too bad we didn't get Belloq in white suit or the other German Commander) They are all ALL beautiful (Sapito does look 'off' but who give a #$## they RELEASED him!) That IS the perfect Indiana Jones action figure they weren't kidding! Thank you Hasbro from the bottom of my heart! YESSSSS!!!!!

I absolutely love this post. I also think it is not only fantastic that you are trying to help out less fortunate kids, but also that your passion for this toy line is apparent. I for one share your exact same sentiments. I can't even being to explain how much I love this action figure line. These movies were so very special to me growing up and have always wanted and dreamt of being able to get some decent toys out of these movies. Hasbro has delivered....but not to the full potential. I agree we can't have wave upon WAVE of figures. I agree kids wouldn't probably want to buy 'Underwater Scuba Gear Jet Pack Indy' or 'Time Travel Missle Gear Sapito'. But there is just a huge list of other figures, vehicles and playsets that should be on the shelves. I myself have literally spent way over a thousand dollars on these figures. Buying multiple of theses figures deluxe figures and vehicles. The Hasbro Q&A is really becoming annoying because yeah....they have literally been saying in not so many words that the line is dead. Which is really depressing. Now over at cooltoyreview.com message boards there is some neat debate of this line and how Hasbro bunked the line with their crappy case assortements...or if it really is dying because no one wants to buy them? This line was amazing, and don't get me wrong I am extremely happy with what we've gotten...my eyes jumped out of my head and my heart beat so fast the day I walked into Toys R Us at the beginning of May and saw that wonderful display of Indiana Jones action figures, deluxe figures vehicles and accessories. It was a magic moment for me that no one can ever take away from me.

Thats the thing maybe juuuust MAYBE Hasbro will make these....? Or am I just grasping at straws here....

We may never get these. So I FINALLY bought (haven't gotten yet though) a Joker, Batman Begins Batman AND Scarecrow figure from eBay all for really decent prices believe it or not! Can't wait to actually get them out of their plastic prisons and play with them!!!! I am lucky too cuz a few months ago my Mom managed to get me a Dark Knight Batman (which is bad ass!) I am wondering, I want a Thug army for my upcoming Joker figure can anyone help out? If I have to pay out the wahzoo I'm not interested, but I'd like to do a fair trade of at least 3 to 4 Goons/Gotham City Thugs if anyone can assist me? I'd really appreciate it Lemme know! P.S.--I realllllly don't care what 'Evidence Mask' comes with the figure OR even if the figure is in the packaged LoL, I end up playing with my figures anyways

Even though Kingdong of the Jizzum Skullcap was the LARGEST kick in the groin of an experience to sit through I'd still buy this 4 pack LoL...which begs me to wonder..why even bother buying DVD's when they eventually just come out with so many different variations...like my bro who bought me the dvd boxset last year, then they come out with ANOTHER different one with added features and then this.....on a side note, how awesome was Raiders of the Lost Ark and Last Crusade though, I mean really?

K first off, I'm hoping this thread isn't deleted or modified...we are all Indiana Jones figure fans alike in here and we have to share the news as it comes...everyone has a right to know. Each website that devotes time to getting the fans the info they want deserves a pat on the back, toynewsi is definately one of those sites. I stumbled upon a site called Indianajonescollectors.com that had a Q&A session and this was what I found: IndianaJonesCollectors: First a quick follow up to the one of our questions from last session if we can. The question was asked about a Marcus Brody action figure. The response was "It is unlikely we will do a Marcus Brody figure". Did you mean for next year or did you mean ever? And if so, is there a "list" of the characters that won't be made? Hasbro: We can't really say never, as we hope there will be another Indy film, and if it comes to pass there will almost certainly be a Marcus Brody figure. IJC: Can we expect a 3.75" Belloq in white suit and Panama hat or a 3.75" Toht and German Mechanic in 2009? H: We did show images of a couple of these figures at Comic Con, which are planned for early Spring 2009. This is depending on retail support for IJ continuing through Spring 2009, something that we will be evaluating with our retail partners in the coming months. IJC: Weeks ago you confirmed you confirmed that an Ark Ghost was coming in a deluxe set next year. Last Q&A session you changed your answer to no Ark Ghost was planned. Can you please clarify? HASBRO QUESTION: Will we ever see a Rene Belloq in white business suit--I think a 2-pack featuring Rene Belloq in white suit and hat with machine gun Vs. Indiana Jones dressed as German Soldier with bazooka would be great. You said Marcus would not likely be a figure that would make it, what about a Colonel Dietrich from Raiders or Grail Warrior with machine gun perhaps from Last Crusade so fans can re-enact the battle scene at the end of TLC. Will there be any playsets other than from KOTCS? I would like a playset that represents the final scene where the Ark of the Covenant is opened up..the island landscape scene would be great with stand up lights and extra melted/burnt/electrocuted/hole in the stomach German Soldiers. Also last but not least even if for some horrible reason there is no demand for this line to continue, is it possible for Hasbro to still continue making them by agreeing to take a loss and pay out of their own pocket in order to help out those of us who do want to keep seeing and buying Indiana Jones action figures?......well....I uhh...I pretty much know the answer to that question so...never mind

Well...that was thoroughly depressing Unless I didn't see it...did Hasbro answer the question about TLC figures or....am I missing something? And NO Marcus figure? That sucks..yeah I got that exact impression that Hasbro will be axing this line....and that's f******g b******t!!!! SOOO crappy to hear (although it's not an official statement I think it's safe to say at this point with the way things are going and how that QandA went :() Yeah...I'm still happy to have gotten the figures I've gotten thus far...and if they don't cancel the line before they release all the stuff they've show I'd be pretty happy. So wait....are these two figures Rene in white business suit and Dietrich coming out or is this just speculation at this point? I REALLY hope these figures come out and that way you can pretty much round out the figures needed to re-enact the movie I STILL can't believe we are getting a German Mechanic and Toht figure its marvelous...simply marvelous bravo Hasbro! ...and yes I did say re-enact the movie as in I play with my toys and I'm not embarassed in the least. ...well...maybe a bit...but what the hell, sue me...these Indiana Jones action figures kick SO much ass it's unreal!

OMG OMG OMG OMG O------M-------G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D Ok....so it's pretty much final, Hasbro $^&)*#@ RULES!!! That DvD pack is quite possibly the COOLEST idea ever! It does look like they used the opening for the G.I. Joe Animated movie as inspiration--Alpine is bad ass, same with the Cobra Soldier, lovin the sculpt on and colors on both of these figures... ...but the REAL Gems are Cobra Commander with that beautiful BEEEEAUTIFUL brand spankin' new head sculpt WITH chrome battle helment face plate...are you kiddin' me? Amazing! And that Duke kicks major leagues of ass compared to the asstastic one we got in the 1st round....Wave 1 Duke's head looks like garbage and so do his arms....THIS Duke however is more like the animated version and has a cool battle cry face sculpt goin' on there....NOT to mention Cobra Commander has his trusty jet-pack and bomb. Honestly I'm so happy with this pack it's unreal...and to think just a few days ago I was chirping off about how Hasbro needs to make a decent head sculpt on CC LoL!

Picked up the 'cartoon' style CC with cool silver battle helment...after looking at pics and some video of the ol' Commander I still think there is something 'off' about the dimensions and the way the helment is sculpted that bothers me. I'd LOVE to see a more detailed and accurate Cobra Commander with proper head/helment proportions...I saw some early concept artwork for that 'Cartoon' Style CC long before it came out and the head looked spot on...buut it turned out to be nothing but the same head sculpt with a silver streak on the top. The silver streak on the top of the helment is cool but...I dunno, his actual silver face plate looks goofy and too thin or something...anyone else agree? I'd like to see a little detail on the plate and a better overall head sculpt

I saw the Royal Guard figure and nearly shat my pants! I THINK I see a Golobulous figure there too in the background unless my eyes have mistaken me! Will someone please confirm that Hasbro is actually considering exploring the awesome characters of the old animated G.I. Joe movie? I know Nemesis Enforcer is coming out..but whats the deal, any figures off Golobulous or that awesome chick with the crazy claw fingernails and bald reptile head with the cloak there? Her name escapes me for the moment... I personally loved that movie and have wanted decent figures off of it for a long time!

I just wanted to say this.....yeah, the figures for Indiana Jones have FINALLY been released and they are ('cept for some reallyyyyy bad friggin' paint apps on alot of the figures @grumpy@ ) aweomse. So much fun and I for one have been waiting for these for a looong time. I know there is talk about not being able to find certain figures and how there is a lot of earlier waves still on pegs AND the fact that Kingdom of the Crystal Skull blew giant goat balls....but nonetheless, I've got my beautiful Raiders of the Lost Ark figures, can't wait for Last Crusade and Temple of Doom..and heck the KOTCS figures were awesome (Russian soldier was a shrimp though what's up with that?) and I'm happy with that. NOT to mention the vehicles...ohhh the sweet vehicles! So yeah, just wanted to say I'm eagerly looking forward to what Hasbro has in store for these movies! I want my Renee in suit, Toht, German Mechanic, Donovan, Indy in Professor suit, Colonel from Raiders (that dies along with Toht and Belloq) as well as Tank from Last Crusade and Map Room and Well of Souls Playsets! Thanks Hasbro!!! Love you guys! P.s. it would been absolutely a dream come true if these figures were in a 6-inch scale...buuut thanks Hasbro regardless for the amazingly cool figures nonetheless

I disagree with Raiders of the Lost Ark single carded Indy being the best...his body is cool but his head sculpt is atrocious on the ones I've seen. Granted some of the Indy head sculpts (save for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull..that one is great!) aren't the best and the Deluxe Arabian Horse Indy head sculpt could be a tad better, but the ROTLA Indiana has no neck!!! His neck is so small and it really takes away from the figure in my opinon. I don't think the Deluxe Horse Indy's legs are spread too far apart, I love the way they are...you can position him in some really awesome poses Each unto his own I guess
