  1. Hello All, Sideshow seems to have a nasty habbit neglecting some of their liceneses....my point being JAMES BOND. I see that they are pumping out the LEGACY collection, which is basically repacks of older figures with some new outfits. I'm all for that and all, being that it's a good way to pick up Bonds of the past you might have missed but my biggest gripe... WHERE THE HECK IS THE DANIEL CRAIG JAMES BOND FROM CASINO ROYALE?!?!?!?? We just came off the film and all the critics and fans felt this was the revitilization of Bond and Sideshow did nothing...no Premium Format Figure, nothing, nada.... And at Toy Fair there was not any signs of a Craig Bond.... Anyone who attended speak to a rep and find out anything about this figure?
  2. Wonder if they will make a ROCKETEER figure..... I can only dream and wish....
  3. I think the changes to Superman in Action Comics are a breath of Fresh air, the same way the costume in SR was(IMO). The essential pieces are there, but a couple of tweaks here and there don't hurt. Look at Batman, everone complained when the yellow disk was dropped. Now nobody seems to mind. Each artist brings a different piece to the character they work on. Batman had that gold shiny Utility Belt for a while, then when Jim worked on Batman he went back to the military type belt, and that's the standard for now. Same thing with Supe's cape...some artists put the Yellow Sheild on the back, some don't. Basically just enjoy, cause when the artist is done on the run he's on, you'll probly get what you want, the classic look. I think the figures and the art in Action are FANTASIC!
  4. I agree, I dug the 2006 Toy Biz line...differnet takes on the classic characters...plus we got some ULTIMATE versions(Nightcrawler, Sabertooth, Iceman)and Xtreme Rogue! It was just nice to see X-Men figures back on the pegs.... A shame that Hasbro is not considering continuing the line BUT I remember a post here...12.26.2006 if I'm correct a line called MARVEL HEROES... Repaints of a lot of old figs but there were somewhat new versions of X standards... Ultimate Cyclops - X-Men Classic Cyclops/repaint of the Jim Lee Costume Mutant X Iceman - ML Series 8 Iceman Ultimate Magneto - ML Series 3 Magneto repaint Astonishing Wolverine - ML Series 5 Wolverine and as an added Bonus...Ultimate Captain America - ML Series 8 Cap So, hopefully in this MARVEL HEROES line we'll get some new, or in Hasbro's case REPAINT X-Men!
  5. Hello All, I just checked the new posts regarding the ToyFair Marvel Previews including Spidey 3 and FF42.... Is it just me or is anyone else getting worried with Hasbro...the preview figs do not have the usual articulation we are accusomted to when Toy Biz worked on these lines. It's been documented in the first Marvel Legneds series that the POA aren't as many as traditional Toy Biz Figs... I don't know....Hasbro gives me the creeps...I stopped collecting Star Wars because of the fact that I was tired of plastic statues with no articulation and bad sculpts. I just hope Hasbro doesn't completely go the Star Wars Route with Marvel... Oh, this is my first post. Be gentle....
