  1. I think there are some kinks in their innerworkings that dont make much sense. Especially in normal capacity that we are used to with most other toy manufacturers. Because some stuff that theyve shown over the years, doesnt see the light of day.. sometimes it does years later(improved i might add). and other things just go up on preorder out of nowhere without any kind of proto shown or indication it was coming. They seem to promote some stuff thats early and throughout its process and others they are like heres this thing we are doing and then we dont see the rest of the process, like the Kenshiro they have. I mean they have SoulCalibur and Fighting EX Layer, both of which havent seen anything come from them yet. They have licenses that have barely been touched with one single figure from the license thats out or have been shown. But again like I said before, they clearly dont operate at a capacity that we are used to. I see tons and tons of complaints from fans of them. I feel like when they show prototypes, they are almost teasing their fans because people start thinking that stuff is right around the corner or holding to them that those are coming sooner than later when alot of times its still a year or so out if not longer if that. They are also one of the few toy devs that show/promote prototypes which is crazy to me. But I can understand why because the development process can get alittle hairy and things slip through cracks and licensors may want to change things. Like their samurai showdown license was going to be based on Samurai Shodown V and in the middle of development they decided to focus on the new game that was coming out instead so the design was modified and now only the cast from that game is viable to be made. I do feel the frustration as its like is this thing ever going to come out? The uncertainty of it all is crazy when we are so used to things just being pumped out and companies that for sure have something produced on a timely manner. It took I think 2 or 3 years for Jin Kazama to come out from announcement to full release. He was one of those characters where people constantly complained and asked where he was. Your time will come for your stuff you want im sure. I have yet to see them really cancel anything.
  2. I dont even collect Joes but maaaaaann I would love that croc!
  3. I know you all arent new to Storm right? This is what they do. Im not fully sure why but im sure its not just because of them and more from their licensors ala WB. They start all sorts of new licenses but are just as slow (which im ok with since their stuff is already not cheap). I def understand peoples problems with them being slow tho.. however they are also imports and smaller business with big licenses. I wouldnt say they are a master of none. They make some seriously good fighting game and video game related figures that no one came compete with. Plus majority of what theyve made so far are definitive figure versions of those characters. As for the figure, it looks great but not my scale and not my price range. My only real gripe outside of price and size is their arms just seem too dang small. I know they are going off more realism but They just look emaciated and the joints dont look as strong because they arent thicker.
  4. Overtkill looks a bit janky to me. Also he seems like he needs more paint or a better wash overall on his torso. It just seems strange.
  5. I never got regular shredder as I didnt really go for him. Always had it that I just wanted the mutations.. so turtles, the babies and super shred.. but this version looks extremely appealing.
  6. Yeah any hype I had for this show is kind of dead. At least its the last season.
  7. These movies havent been amazing since lost world but I am a huge sucker for dino movies.
  8. Another show I am extremely surprised last as long as it did. It was alright for a few seasons and then just kind of ran to the ground.. kind of like most all CW DC shows imo.
  9. I present my Wasteland stage diorama from mortal kombat 2. It was created using XPS insulation foamboard. Carving the cracks alone took about 3 hours. Penciled in the cracks and then cut out the excess. Carved out a strip into rocks for the backpart as well as a chunk for the other area. Found some fake moss type stuff for miniatures from hobby lobby and glued down on key areas of the rocks. The rocks are all removable from the base and are magnetized. The skull is sculpted and 3d printed by me as well. The backdrop is fully recreated by myself through photoshop. Trying to figure out what things are from a low res pixelated image is rouuuuuggghhhhhh. I added a few spices of my style in as well. Hope you all enjoy!
  10. Welllll heres a new movie figure I didnt know I wanted. Walmart exclusive tho.... dont know if I ll be able to get him even if I fully want him. He looks super rad. Hnnnnngggggg.
  11. Im extremely surprised it lasted this long.
  12. The main license of theirs that Im interested in. But judging by how they price their figures I may not even be able to get any. (really just want a good articulated Jim figure). Hopefully they dont want an absurd price for him. I think 40 is reasonable-ish but they like want $60 for each friggin battletoad.. oof.
  13. This was just posted on McF toys youtube. Gives a much better look at Atrocitus.
  14. I wish we could get full pics of Atrocitus. He looks beastly! I dig this overall waves selections and they overall look pretty good but I have some gripes. Ive never been a big fan of McFs proportions on his figures ever since he started adding articulation. Im also not a fan of his ball wrist joints or his ankle joints.. Also Kyle for whatever reason looks chunky. I like these overall tho.
  15. As interesting as this is I find it kind of weird theyd use Aprils actress' likeness as bride of frankenstein however I do understand that if they didnt, shed just be like a generic looking female instead. Altho I believe there was a toy back in the day of the cartoon version which I suppose they couldve based it off of. Altho this seems like their own riffs on that concept.
  16. Yeah I loved Ren and Stimpy back in the day but I just have no motivation to want these. If they were $20 definitely but $40 ehhhhhh. Im more interested in Earthworm Jim coming from premium.
  17. WB does indeed own MK. McFarlane has stated the publishers dont want guns with their toys.
  18. Spawn looks awesome but he would have benefited from having his guns in this but I know they cant have guns for whatever reason. Baraka looks more defined somehow. Like his details are alot more prominent than what I saw in his original release. Nightwolf looks ok but I really dont care for this design from the game. Great accessories tho. Fun how we can have swords and bow and arrows and axes and even impaled brains but noooooo guns.
  19. I feel like this show has taken so long between seasons and then this last season like 2 years ago, was so long, I assumed the show was cancelled. I guess it did have its rockiness if its now coming back but on Hulu instead. Pretty stoked its still alive and getting a new season FINALLY.
  20. woop woop! ive really enjoyed this series surprisingly! Looking forward to the newest season! I feel like they pump this shows seasons out incredibly fast. Quite refreshing.
  21. I used to collect the crap out of the originals but I think it was mostly because my mom kind of pushed them on me but I enjoyed them. Was never a big sports person but to reintroduce them makes sense. And if they are super poseable, that would bring a new concept to sports figurines. McF did sports figures but they were basically statues and the original SL figures were barebones articulated like old toys were back then so a fully Marvel Legends type articulation to a sports figure would be rad as hell for sports fans and kids of today. Very clever license to obtain if thats their intent.
  22. Modern day The Warriors. This concept makes me think of alot of 1980s movies like a dystopian cityscape filled with crime to fight. Should be interesting to see how it develops.
