Isn't Galactus pretty small, like maybe as big as Metroplex? I really don't think he could take Unicron, who is actually planet-sized. Maybe size isn't the issue, but Unicron seems sorta unstoppable without something like the matrix. But I'm not really familiar with Galactus's powers, in my book he loses just for looking so stupid.
  2. I don't think they're ugly, they look good for what they are, but it's just inappropriate. The truck mode is his disguise, why he would have a flamboyant paint job like that to make himself stand out more is beyond me. I'm sure they did that just to be "cool" but it doesn't fit for the character and sort of contradicts the disguising nature of a transformer. It should be plain color(red and blue yes, but simple) and probably dirty like all the other trucks out there on the road, not pristine and tricked-out. But it could have been worse I guess.
  3. For me, I think original BW Megs is my favorite. I joined that game pretty late, the transmetals were taking over at the time and I searched everywhere to finally find this one at an old K-mart. They only had the one and I never saw another one anywhere else. Maybe it just means more to me cause of the hunt. I haven't been totally happy with any of the megatron figures, cept the classics one, but he's not in the list either.
  4. Well it was a gag on the Colbert Report tonight. It was revealed that Cap left the shield to him in his will. Stephen promised to only use it to fight injustice...and impress girls. I thought it was pretty funny, but the shield had a pretty scratched up paint job I thought.
  5. All of your Deadpools have been excellent, but I think I agree that this one may be the best. Grats on the ebay auction, bet that makes it easier to part with one of your best works(I know it would be tough for me to let go of any of the stuff you've done if i had made them). Great stuff.
  6. I think it looks pretty cool, except for those weirdo hands. But I guess we're stuck with those for all movie megatron toys.
  7. Cybertron Prime is good, but for some reason he still ended up in my closet not too long after I got him, not really sure why, just too fancy or something. Energon Prime is horrible but nothing sucks as badly to me as Armada Prime. Forty dollars and I really couldn't find one good feature about him, one of my all time most regretable purchases. RID Prime is sorta cool cause it to me is one of the most unique versions of the character, that still manages to actually work. My favorite of the list though is probably the original ape Primal.
  8. Rodimus Prime or Soundwave would be cool. Grimlock would be my first choice if that were possible.
  9. I see, that's cool that it comes with some long stacks like that. Wish you both good luck with this, i dont' know if I would have the nerve myself.
  10. I'm not sure what the point would be. I mean if you have long and short stacks to switch in the first place, wouldn't that mean you have a Japanese and a US Prime? I only have the long stacks version, is there a reason why you'd want to take em off one and switch to the other? Unless you've made your own custom stacks. Looking at mine, I'd say it would involve taking apart the upper arms, but it has a really deep seated, very tiny screws in the bottom inside corners, so I don't know how you'd go about getting that out of there.
  11. It certainly has a visual flaw or two, but to me it's amazing how nice it looks in both forms. I really never thought they could do much with the design. I had the original when I was a kid and I was almost embarassed to play with it he was so lousy. He was a brick and from the back you see white Optimus hanging onto a scafolding. The Optimus clone part of him was sorta nice since my original one was long broken and gone, but it just wasn't the same. Plus mine had some kinda problem with his legs, I'd have him just standing there and just randomly his torso would snap back, sorta half-transforming himself, just didn't want to stay upright in robot form. But this new one does suffer some in vehicle mode, looks really small and the lower part of the trailer seems non-functional.
  12. That's cool, nice job. The justice lord costumes are all pretty cool, but I like Supes and Batman's best. I was tempted to buy the justice lord figures they had out, but for toys I just like the more realistic looking figures like DC Superheroes. Anyway, good stuff
  13. From what I've heard, it's supposed to possibly have some hidden G1 style characters in it, but who knows, it's still early. Personally I think it looks very nice, they've captured the look of the movie BB very nicely, but if you hate that, then I guess you'll hate the game too. The gameplay sounds like lots of fun to me, I hope they really deliver this time, it would be nice to have a truely great TF game.
  14. Just from the examples you listed for Bumblebee, and cause I know the Ultimate version is the very expensive animatronic version of him, I'd say that the "deluxe" version is the normal one. The other two just sound like kiddie action feature-laden junk just from the names given. And I've seen many pictures already of the fast action battlers, and every time I've never even allowed the pics to finish loading cause they were just obiously not something I'd care about. But for Prime I think they are having two normal toy versions, I've seen two different prototype pics for Prime, and they both look pretty good. I'd say one is a large class toy around 40 dollars and the other is a smaller more affordable version....although neither seem to have trailers, but then again I don't believe I've seen any pictures or clips that indicate he's got a trailer in the movie either though.
  15. I got one today at Toy's R Us. They must have just gotten a shipment in cause I got a classics Jetfire also, which is the first time I've seen him anywhere....well the first time I've seen either of these anywhere. This is the first Titanium I've bought, he's pretty cool, and probably the best Rodimus Prime figure they've ever put out, but as with every Titanium figure I've seen, it almost feels like a wasted opportunity. I can't help but wonder how much nicer it would be if it had been made for the classics line instead as a Voyager class. Better in Titanium then nothing though I suppose. I'm surprised how small his vehicle mode is.
