  1. I love that the JUMP pack still exists.I hate the fact that Hasbro has been sitting on it and not used it til now.I agree we need a Grand Slam and Starduster right now Hasbro!!!!! I plan to get a couple just to have an extra pack to repaint for Joes to use. That's a cool idea that should have resurfaced years ago, an dI am glad to see it back, even if it's for Cobra. Now the big thing is ti wait and see what all Hasbro does after the 25 figures for the 25th anniv. line. I am hoping sales will be strong enough to get them to keep it going.
  2. They're cooler than the Nike shoe transformers.
  3. Buzzer: over-sized chainsaw has to go. Otherwise very nicely done. Lady Jaye: no. They're starting to get better at doing females in the new line, but not quite there yet Serpentor: needs a longer cape but otherwise cool as hell. Beach Head: very cool, and better than expected. He looks like with wave 2 Hasbro is pulling away from the Microman look Zartan: undecided. Looks improves over previous versions but he's one of those I need to see in real life before deciding Red Ninja: ditch the anal probe and he'll be OK Firefly: eh.....need to see painted Shipwreck: looks cool. Nice old-school look instead of over-doing him. Simple works for him. Storm Shadow repaint: don't like. Simple works best for him too. CC repaint: eh........crimson would have been cooler for that mold gray HISS driver: very cool and nice take on a rare Cobra
  4. Anyone else notice that those who party with Paris Hilton end up in rehab for drugs, alcohol, or both, and end up with criminal records?
  5. s p o i l e r s . I just got to the part where Dobby dies. He annoyed the crap out of me in Chamber of Secrets, but his death was kinda sad.
  6. Innocent until proven guilty. He has a right to a fair trial and not a public conviction and punishment before his trial takes place. Let the justice system work first, then if he's convicted, start demanding suspensions.
  7. I still like the 1986 one the most, simply because of character development. The new movie is a bit shallow on the character side of the Transformers and leaves no room for personality. It's all action for the Transformers with all the character development placed on the humans.
  8. s p o i l e r s . . . .. . . . . .. . . . Rowling can't do death scenes at all. Sirius Black's death was so anti-climactic that Rowling had to come out and say he was dead because the Order of the Phoenix book didn't make that clear. The movie didn't make that clear either with the way he just stands there for a few seconds, stares at Harry, and falls into the void. The death of Dumbledore was also kind of weak. Mad-Eye is gone. I am on page 120 now and there's no doubt that he won't be back.
  9. Sorry no merchandise, but I expect that comic that tells of the future to show up as a collectible eventually, as well as the usual unarticulated action figures from McFarlane or Sideshow, as well as mini-busts. In other words, the usual.............. The show is great. I found the first couple of episodes to be boring, but I kept watching it, and grew to like it a lot to where it's the best new show since the new Battlestar Galactica.
  10. So would I. It was cool in the original RAH series in which they had mail-in for Cobra Commander, Slaughter, various vehicle drivers, and Starduster. Personally I'd love for them to do another Starduster.
  11. The only reason why that movie is making any movie at all is because of the part with the Jessica Biehl boob grab.
  12. I just started reading it. In the first 50 pages one of my favorite characters gets killed. It sucks. I hope Rowling isn't gratuitously killing people off just for a big tragic ending to the series as I've heard.
  13. I don't know if it's true either, but it would make sense if it's true. There's people who can make an emulator to run on any system, so Sony should go ahead and use it themselves.
  14. I liked it. I think Nymphadora Tonks got nowhere near the amount of screen time I was hoping for, and they left tons from the book out (like Dobby showing up and Sirius sending his own house elf and Dobby out on missions, Sirius keeping Buckbeak in the house with him, and Sirius arguing with his mother's painting), but those are relatively minor.
  15. 7 is the best IMO, but i like all the uneven numbered ones, 1 (real 3 for the NES/Famicon) 5 7 and 9 well except for 11 but does that really count? hehehe. While the even number ones are kinda meh besides 4, 6 is highly overrated and 10 is bleh. Sure 7 is the best, but it's over-milked to where I am sick of it. I wish Square would make figures from some of their other games.
  16. I don't want him old either. It doesn't make sense for him to be old. He was born in the 70's and aged normally up until MGS4, for which they decided to hyper-age him because he's a clone.
  17. Will they do that again? I hope so. Even though it's a small chance, I hope to see vehicles or at least hear something on what vehicles they're considering
  18. Seconded, but it's Disney. They'll do TV shows and direct-to-DVD movies until people are sick of it.
  19. Unless it's a hentai, it won't a series that accurately reflects her.
  20. 6. Has made me realize that Mountain Dew and Nokia are evil, and if ever exposed to alien energy, they'll turn on you and try to kill you
  21. All of this crap is stupid. Who cares, Obiwan? Seriously. You're bitching because some do see some figures as sucking as badly as other figures. I really don't care if you disagtree with their opinions either, and this over-analyzing of why some might not like something is ridiculous. Homages, tributes, remakes.........doesn't matter. the 25th anniversary line is for Hasbro to make CASH with, and since their new ideas and new character designs are seldomly as successfully recieved as their classic stuff, the line is a SAFE way for Hasbro to make money. They'd still be selling S6 or even VvV instead if they could (read as if people were still willing to buy it). It's just a business decision. There's nothing to over-analyze.
  22. Three Storms

    GG Allin

Before his death, for years he threatened to come to my city (San Antonio) and kill himself on stage because some cops banned him from returning to the city. He never did it though. Now playing Allin covers is a staple for local punk bands.
  23. At the risk of gettig flamed, I have to say that punk has been dead for 20 years.
  24. Good. He's a good actor, and people shouldn't let a stupid mistake destroy someone's entire career and livelihood.
