Read up on DVDx and see if that has what you need. If it does, it's free to download... http://www.labdv.com/dvdx/ No idea how well it handles copy protection, or if it even does at all, so that could still cause problems.

Researchers: Homes have more TVs than people
NMX replied to mangacollector's topic in Action Figures
Currently, two medium sized televisions (I forget the actual measurements). The large one that used to be in the family room finally gave out (it was fairly old), so it's been switched with one of the medium ones until it can be replaced (not really a high priority, as I don't watch a lot of television). And to relate it back to the original article of "more TVs than people," there are two people currently living here... -
I checked it out on Ellis' recommendation and found I couldn't get into it. The shorter format is a tough one to do, and perhaps I've been spoiled by it being done so well with Ellis' Fell. That said, I haven't dropped it yet - I love Fraction's writing and will give anything he does every chance I can. I'm just not so sure his writing works as well here as it does in, as you mentioned, something like Five Fists of Science. Five Fists of Science or Last of the Independants, for that matter. One-off, thick graphic novels such as either of those two seem to be perfect examples of the format that allows Fraction the proper amount of time to weave something truly fantastic and then bring it to its natural conclusion in one solid package.

Haven't been too big on anything by Audioslave that came after their (great) first album...

Pictures? I have a few of me dressed as Sandman. These had nothing to do with any particular Halloween though, just boredom and a camera... The gas mask, suit and trenchcoat are easy enough. I do need to find something I can design into a passable gas gun one of these days though.

FELL is great. It's Ellis Noir at its best, with a touch of Ellis Strangeness thrown in, which makes for stellar reading. Every issue is also self-contained, so it's an easy book to check out on a whim. So there is really no excuse to not pick up at least one issue to check out the series, unless you just don't like Ellis, and I hear that people who don't like Ellis also tip baby carriages and kick puppies. You don't want to be one of THOSE people do you? PS: Buy FELL.

Spider Jerusalem or Sandman (Wesley Dodds/gas mask version) are my typical standby costumes when I need something in a hurry - Spider Jerusalem is pretty much a cartoon version of me anyway, and Sandman is easy given that I already have a collection of gas masks and trenchcoats. Given that I haven't put much thought into this year yet, either one is very likely to make an appearance. I was Jesus one year - that was amusing, but several people still aren't talking to me as a result, so maybe a little more time before I revisit that one... One I've wanted to do for the better part of a decade (ever since I started shaving my head) is a deathrow Joker thing. Never got around to it. Problem with doing that this year is I actually have my hair grown out for once. Though it might be gone again by then. In other words... I have absolutely no idea.

Some of us do... I probably keep about half the books I buy. Whatever I don't feel I need or want any longer gets passed along - friends, family, some random person I think might get some use of it - it doesn't matter who. Or if all else fails, there's always Good Will. Books are disposable entertainment/education - they're meant to have more than one owner in their lifespans (I look at comic books in pretty much the same way).

well you're wasting you time with a cover letter...just concentrate on your resume. someone will skim the cover letter and throw it away. Depends on the job he's applying for and what the employer is asking for. If he's just going around handing out resumes at, say, the mall, then yes, a cover letter is generally pretty useless. If he's responding to specific job postings though, then he should be tailoring his applications to what is asked for - if that includes a cover letter and whatever else in addition to the resume, then so be it.
-
It's actually shorter than most of my cover letters.

I think Tom wins... I think Tom is very brave to goto Iraq to help defend USA, but I do not think that is the craziest thing to do. I think it is a brave and bold thing to do. The Government is crazy to keep them all there for so long! Oh I believe it's that too.

Organized a student walk-out under the guise of support for an upcoming teacher strike when I wanted to skip some school and couldn't because I was already on student probation for missed classes. Then watched from a coffee shop across the street from the school as administration and police tried to convince several hundred rallied high school students to return to their classrooms. ...I was a bit more of a jackass back then than I am now. But damned if it wasn't hilarious. (Also worth noting: I did wind up getting expelled from school later that year for the above incident and a few other incidents, so perhaps I wasn't quite as brilliant as I tended to think I was at the time...)

I find most Canadians can't speak French Certainly not Parisian French. There is a story among the family of my mother and father (and me, though I was too young to remember it) in Paris, and my mother - the "French" one, trying to order an omelet at a restaurant yet somehow managing to order raw eggs in creme... Daddy dearest did the rest of the ordering for us on that particular trip, I believe.

I'm French Canadian and English, with some Aboriginal mixed in there somewhere. I was born in New Brunswick. Yet amusingly, I don't speak even a word of French...

Been waiting for that one Sigma 6 figure to reel me in.

Zartan is pretty kick-ass. I doubt it will get me collecting the line, but I will be picking him up for sure. -
Oh, but apparently there is. According to Jif anyway. And therein lies the rub. Weirdness isn't it? Jif lies. LIES!
