  1. I guess I have been hanging around figure collecting sites too much. The constant whining about "another Obi-Wan" or how the "pegs are clogged with Obi-Wans" has soiled my perception on just how popular he really is. I'm not saying I didn't think he was popular just that Han was more.
  2. You have a better grasp of the current generation of fans than I do since I was sure that Han was going to win that easily.
  3. I'm disappointed in that. I found most of the clips that they showed to be funny. I'm not sure what a full episode would have been like but I was looking forward to finding out. I hate it. They have gone through five seasons specifically showing that clones aren't just flesh droids just to reveal that they really are. I guess it does explain why Stormtroopers are such bad shots, after Order 66 was given they became mindless zombies. Notice how he had to go right up to her to shoot. Even in RotS all of the Jedi that were killed were shot at point blank range and the one that wasn't (Obi-Wan) they missed.
  4. Unfortunately yes it is. There are even rumors that the 2013 wave (and Movie Heroes too) will only be released in Europe. It even sounds like the realistic Rex and Mace won't be released, which peeves me off. Rex was one of only five figures from the canceled Legacy Collection that I was truly interested in. @grumpy@ There will still be realistic style CW figures in the Saga Legends line though.
  5. Well it looks like you won't have to worry about that. This is from a Q&A at Jedi Defender:
  6. That figure is actually a mixture of the RotJ costume and the prototype costume (that the original vintage figure was based on).
  7. I had heard a rumor that this was going to be a "set". If that and this rumor are both true than I think that it will be ESB Fett with a Han in carbonite.
  8. For anyone that has the game the latest update (Second part of Hoth, the asteroid field) has been released.
  9. The Luke was there. Jay just didn't mention it since it wasn't new news.
  10. I don't even have the room/money for all the 3-3/4" that I want. There is no way I could get into a new scale. Hopefully this line will succeed for people that want them. My guess for wave 2 Han Vader Yoda Clone Trooper
  11. This doesn't bod well for the TV shows either. Especially the live action show.
  12. There is nothing "fan favorite" or "best of the best" about these. They are just over stock of waves 4 and 5 that never made it to stores because of wave 1. Instead of sending them to the discount stores like they have been doing (I'm guessing wave 2 and 3 got that) they are offering them to retailers. They may have already started shipping, with reports of wave 4 showing up in greater numbers lately. Having said that this may also just be a way for Hasbro to keep the pegs full until they can actually ship a real "fan favorite" wave that they are working on. If they don't have anything to ship the stores will fill the pegs with something else and then when they offer them the "fan favorite" wave the stores won't have anywhere to put it so they won't order.
  13. It's number 3. There was a scene where Luke rolls his saber to Vader that was cut and the shot of him holding it is a remnant of that. More information here: http://www.starwarz.com/tbone/index.php?categoryid=11&p2_articleid=420
  14. I just though of a convoluted way that the post RotJ EU could be erased from cannon but still remain cannon. If in a book or comic, set after the Legacy comics, Cade (or someone) flow-walked or something and actually changed the past resulting in the sequel trilogy.
  15. As much as I'm thrilled about the prospects of more movies I'm really worried that this is going to eviscerate post ROTJ EU. Also I hate that Dark Horse is certainly going to loose the license to Marvel. The only comics I buy are the omnibuses and was hoping to be able to own every comic through those someday but now that will never happen.
  16. Yes, and the Jedi fighter too. Unless these sell horribly all of the midsize vehicles will be this size from now on.
  17. I use Nestopia, ZSNES, Project64 and Gens.
  18. Nanta is the ewok that gets killed. The original picture of this set that was leaked back in February had the fan name "Corpsey" for him. The AT-ST hijacker is named Oochee.
  19. It's not Sebulba. It's just an unnamed dug. If it is anyone it's Seboca from AotC since that is the CGI model that was used.
  20. Saw another report about this on the news. They finally identified these people and it's not even his parents. It's the babysitter and her boyfriend. The parents found out about it from the news.
  21. I saw this on the news last night. The parents weren't trying to scare the kid they were playing peekaboo. They had already but him in a dryer before they put him in the washer (that they didn't know someone had put coins in). Really sounds like horrible people that need their kid taken away from them. @rolleye@
  22. I don't remember. I was only one when RotJ came out. Because of my brothers, SW has always been a part of my life. The toys are where my fondest memories are. Up until 96 when I got the THX remastered versions the only way I had ever seen the movies where bad quality recordings from off the TV.
  23. There will be R6s along with R8s and R9s. They just won't be released until later in the summer along with the other non-Mickey hats. In other words everything that is a new sculpt.
