  1. Came across the Cyclops at the Target this morning. At 19.99 it really didn't look worth it at all. Have any others been announced yet for the series?
  2. I've seen those posts as well on different action figure sites, but whenever another user asks about the pics or the stats of the figure, responses are never given. Mattel could surprise us, but who knows.
  3. With how poor the MOS line went for Superman Returns (going to clearance after a few weeks), it's pretty doubtful we'll be seeing him anytime soon unless they decide to recycle him for another line years down. I was honestly looking forward to it, but I'm not too setting my outlook so bright.
  4. If they decided to make Stan the Man Lee into a Marvel Legend (think of the George Lucas figures, Peter Jackson figure), I think we may have the greatest chase figure ever created. My prediciton though.....I don't know. Maybe Smythe.
  5. Just had my second case of no luck when a Wal Mart in Indianapolis decided to tease me with a new display on the shelves. The manager almost tried to do an override, but no dice.
  6. Agreed. Very nicely done!
  7. Not sure why, but I would love to see Ross-styled figures based on 'Marvels'. They wouldn't have to be mirror images of the Justice League Ross figures, but something along that line would be an instant must.
  8. The one that turns the most heads in my collection (aside from the stealth Iron Man chase) is the Sentinal BAF. It still amazes me how brilliant that figure is. On top of that, the first wave Captain America, Hulk-Buster Iron Man and (not a legend but the XMC) Cyclops in the Jim Lee traditional blue costume with yellow straps, visor, boots, gloves and belts gain the most attention. The fugly of the collection is Dr. Strange who cannot be posed with his cape and of course the Emma Frost.
  9. More than likely, Walmart there put in the "Do not sell" message for the toys' UPC. Usually, that message is reserved for recall items, but works quite well in discouraging early purchases Again, these are NOT supposed to be out until the 24th, so I would not go to any Walmart expecting SM3 toys proper to be out, although the animated/previous movie villians are NOT dated. Somebody will be getting some flack for this. Yeah, the animated figures were on the same island and were also pulled away. They weren't gaining much attention at the time, so I'm not sure if they were given the same no sale mark at the registers. Chances are they may not see the light of day until the 24th either. Strange thing is all of the Origin figures were depleted. Honestly, though, I was much more impressed with the figures in person. Sandman was pretty draedful, but the articulated black Spider-man and Venom I was really looking forward to opening.
  10. I just stepped into the toy section at a Wal-Mart in Andrson, IN today as they were unloading and pricing the skid of the figures. Took three to the register where they deemed unbuyable by the woman at the register (she claimed they were being recalled because of a poison in the plastic....it was weird). So i just smiled politely and went back to the guy unloading the skid and told him, hoping to have some luck. He brought the manager over who went back and made the guy pull the island away as I watched in sadness. But then I found the new Bizarro DC Superheroes figure with the stone medallion and Kal El figures and I cheered up.
  11. How's the quality on them? And price?
  12. It's on at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the WB/CW Saturday mornings. There's a pretty decent web site that has most of the episodes available online.
  13. I'm hoping the poll was correct and it's official. I'm really, really wanting a Superman in that style.
  14. Not sure of any right off hand, but the cloak thing that Mandarin has in the face-off line could be pretty easily modified into a hood-less poncho.
  15. I don't know why but I've always been a sucker for movie figures. Other than Juggernaut, She Hulk is the only other one I'll be picking up....then I'll cave and buy the rest for no apparent reason. Tragic impulses are really sad.
  16. First time post, bloody amazing figure.
