  1. Just remember EVERY joke is making fun of someone. So before we get all bent outta shape lets ask our self have we EVER made a joke? Priest Jokes are pretty popular but Im sure not with little alterboys who have been molested. Have we ever made a Michael Jackson joke. Little molested boys might not like that either. Not trying to sound like a #### but we all crack jokes and someone somewhere would be offended.

I'm not offended by any of the jokes

    #WTF#

  2. A woman lay in a coma in the hospital while the nurses were in her room giving her a sponge bath. One of them was washing her private area and noticed that there was a response on the monitor when she touched her.

They went to her husband and explained what happened, telling him, "Crazy as this may sound, maybe a little oral sex will do the trick and bring her out of the coma."

The husband was skeptical at first, but they assured him that they'd close the curtains for privacy. The hubby finally agreed and went into his wife's room. After a few minutes the woman's monitor flat lined, no pulse, no heart rate.

The nurses rushed into the room. "What happened?" they cried. The husband said, "I dunno. I guess she choked."

  3. Tasteless jokes are highly relative. To both the teller of them and to the audience of whom they're telling them to.

    For example..

"There once was a little boy who was celebrating his 11th birthday.

He decided to test his family to see if they remembered his birthday, so he goes downstairs to his father. "Bet cha' can't guess how old I am today", the boy said.

The father has no clue and finally gives up. "I'm eleven!" the boy exclaims.

Next he goes in the kitchen, walks up to his grandma, and says, "Bet cha' can't guess how old I am today".

"Let me give it a guess", grandma says and sticks her hand in his trousers.

She plays with his testicles for about an 5 minutes or so, squeezing them moving them back and fort, takes her hand out of his trousers, and says, "You're eleven years old".

"WOW!! How did you know?" the boy asked.

Grandma replied, "I heard you tell your father"."

    Funny? Yes or No?

  4. I don't want to get started on a rant about people these days and their addiction to their phones/video games, but it annoys the crap out of me when people are so focused on the technology in their hands that they can't be bothered by the world around them. I don't want to sound unfair, but if My Wife and I are out to dinner and our server/bartender is busy checking their text messages, I deduct from their tip. As a bartender myself, I expect some small amount of professionalism when I go out to spend my money that I work hard to earn. People just don't seem to realize that their friends will still be there when they get off work or when they are on break.

I'm right there with ya! I have no sympathy for anyone that trips and falls into a fountain or even onto the subway tracks, when it's their own damn fault for not paying attention.

  5. In my limited experience and from what few occasions I could use as an on sight example of witnessing what a child is picking out in the toy aisle, it's usually been Wrestling figures. Very RARE to see a child begging a parent for G.I.Joe toys or for Star Wars toys and not even any number of these movie line action figures that clog the pegs, like Iron Man or Spiderman and so on. If I see a small boy and his father together, the child is usually instructing the Father on which wrestling figure he wants for the $10 his grandparents gave them.

  6. I was surprised that the Pro Bowl was played BEFORE the Super Bowl this year? Did I miss something? I'm pretty sure it always use to be played afterwards and included many of the players from the two Super Bowl teams. Any scoop (before I google on why the change?

They started this last year when the Super Bowl was in Miami. I think they realized that after the Super Bowl, eveyone mentally checks out on the NFL until the Draft and wanted to get better ratings. Last year's Pro Bowl the week before the Super Bowl got the highest ratings for a Pro Bowl in years, so I would guess this is a running change for higher ratings and a 2 week break between the NFC and AFC Championship Games that they can hype the Super Bowl. If the Pro Bowls continue to be like last night's game, people will remember why they don't watch it in the first place.

Obviously I'm not one to always watch it. I didn't even know they had changed it. @loll@

  8. of NASA didn't want to delay the flight any longer despite the conditions were NOT right for flying.

Another sad thing is to note that they mostly survived the explosion and that the cabin blew off the shuttle body and the captain tried to pilot the cabin but didn't know that there was no body to pilot. They died from the impact of the cabin hitting the water.

I've never heard that before. I knew that the cabin was reported as being found intact at the bottom of the ocean and was blown away from the explosion, but I heard that all the members were unconscious due to the massive concussion of the explosion and basically died instantly.

I read that but who knows for sure. I read that the impact of the cabin hitting the water is what killed them and not the explosion

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Challenger_disaster#No_.22explosion.22

Read this on Wiki - I read it somewhere else also. It is just a better thing for them of of been unconscious than to be aware but some were. It just saddens me to know people may of lived through a horroric moment before death, I pray I go in my sleep or quickly not through fear or in a crazed situation.

That was interesting (the wikipedia write up). It's definitely hard (if not impossible) to know for certain if any of them were still alive or even conscious before hitting the water, but it would seem likely that they were not. I know they stated somewhere that none of them had water in their lungs, so nobody was still breathing at after the impact onto the water.

As horrible as the thought of these people being conscious as they fell to their death, nothing makes me any sicker to my stomach than the thought of the people who fell to their deaths from the World Trade Towers on 9/11. They like to claim that those people likely passed out as well, but who knows? Terrible. People always say that flying is safer than driving, but if you're involved in a car accident, it happens so fast you don't even have time to react. An airplane crash happens quickly as soon as it hits the ground, but it's that time period between "oh sh@#..what's going on with the plane" and the crash, that agonizes me. You can crap your pants 20 X over and have a few coronary failures in that long duration, waiting for the inevitable.

  9. Seems to me that they could just as easily take their business to the Internet as well? If you can't beat'em...join'em type stuff? Same articles, toy or comic updates that would go into their monthly rag, only now more instant via an Internet site. Have the message boards and the whole deal. Their advertisers would follow htem there and that would bring in the same revenue as before with the only thing they'd be out on, is the price of the magazine itself.

  10. Watching the faces of the family members always reminded me (or made me think of) a family that my Father knew thru work and we socialized with at the company get togethers, who lost their teenage son in a sky diving accident. Stand there on the ground, watching your child jump out of an airplane, FILMING the whole thing, only to record his plummet to the earth due to a failed parachute.

My ex-Brother-in-law (but still friend) does these iron man marathons every year (if not more) and started out just like yourself, wanting to do ONE just to see if he could do it and is now addicted. He wasn't thrilled on the swimming portion either, but did quite well.

Cool, do you know what his times were in the race and which Ironman was it he ran in? I'm doing the one in Louisiville Ky

He has one plaque up at his office, that was the Ironman event in Gilford NH 2008, called the Timberman Triathlon and his time was 5:49:48. He's my age so he would have been 46 then. I'll have to contact him and see if he's running the one in Louisville?

  13. Yeah, but they ripped off Aerosmith on doing this. I'm biased towards Aerosmith anyway, as they come from my generation (70's) of rock. ;) Metallica always gives me a headache.

More to your liking? I have always loved this song.

    @haha@

My "generation" I think more along the lines of AC/DC, KISS, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Foghat, Nazareth, Molly Hatchet, Cheap Trick, Eagles, Boston, The Rolling Stones and the like.

With groups like Metallica, I can't help but think of Cookie Monster.

  14. Hey Dake the Stinger looks great!! I really like the blue undercarriage. I don't know if you can use this but i saw it at wal-mart yesterday .Its called the ATK from "The Corps" line of action figures usually sold next to GI Joe.I almost bought it becuase i think repainted could be a pretty sweet joe ride. They had it for 13.99 and its got some pretty cool features that even the V.A.M.P. doesnt have. I really like how the doors open backwards .They also added pop up doors on the back roof so soldiers can man the gun and spot light on top. Here is a link to what it looks like if you have not seen it already.

I think the tires on your Stinger look good.

I repainted one of those last year (or so) to look like a Cobra Stinger jeep...
