  1. I went to Big Lots yesterday, and opened three cases. Each one had a cyborg superman in it. I bought one and left the rest for any fellow collectors. I like the figure, but cyborg supes has a small head...
  2. I found them Friday, out of no where, at a KB toys. Oh yeah, I'm down here in San Diego, America's Finest City. #US1#
  3. I actually found one random Captain Marvel variant at KB, but I have not seen anything besides that.
  4. Nice! I'm a-liking Iceman's pose... looks cool. I have a pair of Captain America shot glasses to help me get through the day, but I like the quality/quantity of yours a lot better.
  5. Screw critics! Their opinion means nothing to me whatsoever. I'm sure the movie will be bad but still enjoyable................ like the punisher...
  6. For those of you with significant others; did you get any cool gifts? I got a whole bag full of Marvel Valentines cards with lolipops and some SHS figures. All in all it was a rather good day.
  7. Only thing that I can think of is just to play with your boy and in time he will hopefully start asking you questions about the figures he is playing with. Feel free to lay the marvel magic on him once he does. Maybe if you have some marvel comics scattered about he will make the connection that spiderman is more than just a toy or movie and he will want to learn more. I agree with Ryno on the use of super hero squad figures.
  8. Oh Man! Living in SD during comic con is the greatest thing ever. I get a paid vacation from work, and all I have to do to get there is drive a couple of blocks down to the trolley station. SDCC = Greatest weekend ever.
  9. Stopped by KM as I was leaving the GF's house and saw two full pegs of HML. Either they barely stocked or no one cares about the place. Both IM packages were present, but looks like Hulk with the silver arm is officially out of commision. The only downside is the price is $1 more than Target or WM, but it's to be expected. By the way, I'm located in San Diego... America's Finest City!
  10. I saw one of these today! At first I thought these would look a little too nerdy, but it actually looked kind of cool. Still wouldn't buy one though. Hella expensive.
  11. I collect sixteen titles a month, so eff trades. Started reading when I was six. Believe it was an issue of Claw that I bought at a garage sale.
  12. DO IT!!! I was lucky enough to find all of them at retail, but since I have not seen them since $12 is not bad at all.
  13. I finally found Iron Spidey at the WM next to my work (HML were there too, but no IM) and I have to say I am sorely dissapointed in the figure. There were six figures on the pegs, but only one had a decent paint app @grumpy@ On top of that the ankle joints are extremely weak, and the lack of articulation makes it virtually impossible to have good ol' Spidey in some cool looking poses. He is one damn good looking figure, but i'm still dissapointed. On a side note, it's about time my WM finally got some Hasbro stuff.
  14. I have 4 KB stores near me, but there used to be 6 Thank jah for TRU and Target because I hate going inside of WM for anything.
  15. I'm totally digging the use of ballons for his boots. That's mighty creative.
  16. I do want to thank Hasbro-ham for making sturdier figures. So far, everything I have from wave 1 feels better built than a lot of TB legends. Just wish there was a little bit more detail.
  17. Nightcrawler and Cyclops will give everyone a beat up from the feet up. F wolverine.
  18. I'm a-gonna go again against the grain here and say that Banshee is a damn nice figure. At first I was kind of bummed that he had blonde hair, but when I saw that they added some red to it I didn't hesitate to pick it up. Still can't get over how small Emma's head is though. Seriously, that is one freakishly small head! I was going to force myself to pick her up today after work, but then I saw she had a chip in her cape and happily put her back down.
  19. I just picked up Banshee and Hulk today (sold out of IM), and I must say that they are actually very well built and nice looking figs. I know most people are complaining about Banshee's head sculpt, but I think the "scream" looks accurate and makes the figure. Would you really want a Banshee that is not screaming? Hulk is nice and heavy with a good amount of detail (especially in the shield). I was totally on the Hasbro hate wagon before I saw these in person, but now I have some faith in the future legends figures. PS: THIS IS MY FIRST POST!!!
