  1. If you've got a computer that still takes floppies, here's link to buy a cheap copy of it: http://cgi.ebay.com/Star-Wars-Screen-Enter...4QQcmdZViewItem
  2. I've seen them at KB (of all places) & Wal-Mart and the only ones I haven't seen are Thor and Yellow Jacket. Don't think I've seen 'em at Target yet, which is weird as they had the new Icons.
  3. Sentinel was the best. I liked Galactus, but I have problems with standing him up because of his skirt. Giant man is nice, but 10 figures to build him (including a variant) is insane.
  4. As a collector who chases all over the damn place to get figures right when they come out, I've got to say I'll gladly wait in line BEHIND employees who collect so long as they buy what they need and leave the rest for the customer. If you're doing reviews, more power to you. If you collect a line because it makes you happy, keep it up. If you snarf all the McQuarrie Troopers and Boba Fetts to sell on Ebay, well, there's a special place in hell for you. If you do that and rationalize it away by saying "working retail doesn't pay me enough" well, get a better job out of retail. When the Order 66's hit my local Target, I was there with my boys (it was the morning Spidey 3 toys hit), there was a VERY helpful employee who asked if we were looking for Star Wars, I said yes and he ushered me to the camera counter and produced a full case of these babies. They didn't have the end cap where they were going ready, so he let me buy them out of the case. And no, I didn't buy the whole case, just the one set and left the rest for other collectors or fathers who wanted to spread the joy to their kids. Please print these responses and share them with your boss. There's no harm in what you're doing. Keep it up. #US1#
  5. From what I read, they had to have the board in two pieces to fit the packaging. I'd prefer a larger board (in scale with the Surfer) in two pieces, than one solid piece that is too small or looks out of scale. I wasn't a fan of series one of Legends, but I'm digging series two and I think they're doing a good job with the Icons. @doom@
  6. I'm sure they're going to follow that abysmal Ultimate version of Galactus from a few months back. A storm cloud of bugs that swarm and eat everything in their path, and they referred to it as Guh-lack-tus, or some such nonsense. If Marvel can't figure out a way to put Wolverine in his yellow and blue (or better still, the yellow and brown) togs and resort to leather, how the hell are they going to come up with a space dude, larger than earth in a purple and pink jumper with that helmet and loincloth? I'm not defending the studio or Marvel (as I agree with the prior poster, aside from Chris Evans and the voice of Mike Chiklis, the entire film should be recast), but Galactus just doesn't transfer well from comic to screen. Not yet anyway. The Surfer looks sweet, but this bungle with Galactus will kill the series. @firedevil@
  7. I snarfed a Dr. Doom and Punisher at the Target in Libertyville, IL (FAR north suburb of Illinois), and left behind one more of each on Friday afternoon. I didn't see these posted recently....so I figured I'd start a thread. Hopefully this isn't redundant.
  8. I found a She-Hulk and a Xorn at a Wal-mart in the northern 'burbs of Chicago. I'm hunting for the rest....
  9. Ok, what the hell? I went to the KB in Gurnee, IL (FAR north Suburb of Chicago) with my 4 year old, he picked the figure he wanted and we paid cash at the register (for $4.99 for one figure) and got no coupon or survey or anything. Why? Did we have to pay with a credit card? They had a ton of Modok's (no variants) a couple of Mojo's, and a handful of Onslaught series. Why no coupon? #WTF#
  10. I'm in the No. Suburbs of Chicago and haven't seen these yet. I haven't decided if I'm going to continue my , addiction to ML or not. I've been on board since Wave 1 but have misgivings about these since the pricepoint has migrated north and the comics are gone. I don't see a BIG deal about less articulation. What, are they now 32 points rather than 46? If that's the case, BFD. Spidey Origins hit everywhere here, TRU, WM, AND Target. I snarfed an Iron Spider and left the rest (including another Iron Spider, I'm not greedy or scalping). I'll wait and see what these look like in person. If it's love at first sight, I suppose continue to make mine Marvel, if they're lacking, well, I'm looking for a reason to grow up (a little). Cheers!
