I'm in! Hopefully they're easier to find then the blasted Thor from series 2.

I called Hasbro Toyshop, it took about a minute, spoke to a very nice woman, she apologized for the e-mail (said it went out in error), assured me they still had my order, and they were being shipped TODAY.
Other than the e-mail going out in error, Hasbrotoyshop.com seems to be on the ball (or at least telling me what I want to hear).

Ok, I just got an e-mail from Hasbrotoyshop that says my order is cancelled. I called their "customer service" line and everything, now they're claiming I asked them to cancel. Has anyone else gotten this note from these jokers?

I saw the Batman ones at a TRU in Northern Chicago suburbs about two weeks ago and passed. It looked nice, but the price wasn't on it, so I figured it was expensive. Didn't have too many points of articulation either.
I'm sticking with Icons for now, the Marvel brand (yeah, I know Batman is Iconic, but you know what I mean).

I'm in. I dig the Legends but don't know anything about this BAF Holocaust.
-
I dig 'em. Happy I started picking up Icons when the series first started. Is this wave the next one, or is the one with Johnny Storm next?
-
Yup we had them hit here, now they're gone. Sorry bud.

Who has to have this?

I've been extremely disappointed by DCD, I got a Flash figure for my boy and his arm fell off (Flash's, not my boy) about five minutes after I took him out of the package.
Give Mattel the core JL rights for a year and see what they do with it.

Found a couple sets of all of these (except McQuarrie Chewie was absent), and bought one set, left behind the others, at Wally-Mart in Round Lake Beach, IL (FAR north suburb of Chicago). Haven't seen diddly at any Target's or TRU.
-
That site's got some sweet stuff on it.

Thanks fellas. Between this and the Hasbrotoyshop tip with McQuarrie Luke, I'm totally set. I wasn't a pig in either case, just one of each. I don't see anyone buying 110 of the droids only to scalp on E-Bay, that's almost $2500 out of pocket (with shipping).
This is how the convention exclusives should be done for those of us unable to attend.

We lost my Mother in Law to Cancer last year, and My dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer earlier this year (fortunately, he should survive). I'd like to get one for my wife (because of her mother) and one for my boys. This is beyond cool and I'll keep my eyes peeled on hasbrotoyshop.com.
Cheers!

Thanks for the tip. I ordered one.

PASS!!!!!!!!!!!

I snarfed Mongul, chrome Steel, and black suited Superman at the TRU in Libertyville, IL (FAR North suburb of Chicago). I left behind the Kal-El (which are ALL over Walmart's around here) as well as Darkseid, and Bizarro, and may have been a Super-girl as well. The guy at the register commented that he didn't even get to "check them out" today as they were just put out this morning.
No cyborg Supes.

Saw Spidey 3 in Round Lake Beach, IL (FAR north suburb of Chicago), and they had both the life size Surfer and the Simpson couch (it was a Regal Cinema Theatre).
TOO DAMN COOOOOOLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Pioneer. Only a few variants missing, otherwise I've got them all.
-
Snarfed the exclusive Venom this afternoon in Gurnee, IL (FAR north suburb of Chicago).
-
I snarfed all 6 of the 2nd wave of the 30th Anniversary Figures at the Round Lake Beach, IL Wal-mart, including Boba Fett Concept. I didn't buy any dups, and left behind at least two or three other complete sets (yes with Boba Concept).

If you've got a computer that still takes floppies, here's link to buy a cheap copy of it:

I've seen them at KB (of all places) & Wal-Mart and the only ones I haven't seen are Thor and Yellow Jacket. Don't think I've seen 'em at Target yet, which is weird as they had the new Icons.

Sentinel was the best. I liked Galactus, but I have problems with standing him up because of his skirt. Giant man is nice, but 10 figures to build him (including a variant) is insane.
Hasbro Silver Surfer out yet?

Marvel is blowing it. Took my boy to see the new movie today and he was REALLY WANTING a SS figure, trucked to two Wal-marts and a Target and found nothing! Target had some of the 5" figures (no SS), but I haven't seen ANY of the Legends SS anywhere? What the hell?
